wait what about the "halo" in the ground? dont you remember the first one? and the second one? they were both rings and the flood LIVE on the rings in special containers that break open do to our carelessness when we land and they are smart enough to free their brethren! the third one was a safeguard "Shield" area for the forerunners when and if the flood got out of hand, but they miscalculated how much memory the flood retained from their food and that they could get there. THOSE SNEAKY BASTARDS!

those arent hard to get, except that one where you have to through a grav lift down just right, angle just right, and jump at the correct time.
