Maurycy looked over at Seifer as Orin left. "You seem serious." He said. "Are you getting paid to be serious or genuinely so? Oh, and am I allowed to be here?" The military was a concept Maurycy didn't entirely understand. In his knowledge of it, the Military was where people were paid to kill other people.

Seifer sighed and shook his head to Moriarty. "You're a royal retainer, wouldn't you be at least a little bit worried at the prospect of your princess getting diced and butchered by giant barbarians?" he took a few impatient steps toward the castle doors, shaking his head. Hopefully Orin wouldn't dawdle, and would do as Seifer had suggested. That single concern occupied his thoughts for the moment.

"My princess? That Aura lady from the dark tower? I think she can handle her own safety. It usually takes pocket money to make me go out of my way to protect someone. I'm looking for a job." Maurycy said, entirely serious.

As Violet arrived at the Castle, she smiled. It felt good to be home after being all over the place for so long. Her smile then faded as she thought of all the business that needed to take place. 'First things first, I need to ask Seifer if he knows why he was attacked by that group. Hopefully it was nothing we can't fix, otherwise I may have to revise my plan.'

Orin landed behind the walls of the castle just as Violet came through. Seifer has a bit of explaining to do... He remained silent though, knowing Violet would address the subject.

Seifer nodded once to Maurycy , "A bodyguard hm? Well I can't help you there. I'm the sort who prefers to trust no one and guard his life with his own blades." he folded his arms calmly and looked just over Maurycy's shoulder to see large wings descending from the air. He took longer than I had hoped.

"Yeah, I figured you were capable of handling yourself. It can't hurt to ask." Maurycy said. He turned around to see Orin flying in. "I should get out of here before I get in trouble." He said. He ran towards the nearest window, and jumped out of the castle.

Bloom entered the castle behind Orin and Violet. "Seifer!!" she yelled, obviously mad, "Get over here! I want to hear this short story of yours!" She did not like getting attacked for no reason, and wanted answers.
Iris followed Bloom into the castle, and could not help but laugh at Bloom’s outburst. "Better hurry up Seifer, before she kills someone!" She laughed, earning a glare from Bloom. With a small smile still on her face she walked up to Violet. "Can I talk to you? Alone." She said low enough for only her to hear.

Seifer rolled his eyes and started to approach, giving a brief shrug. "They hate me, not you, so unless you did something foolish there shouldn't be a problem." He took a short breath before continuing, "I met that ogre in Kraftig Felter during an invasion. It isn't exactly feasible to make friends with the enemy in wartime."

Violet stared at Bloom astounded. 'I don't think I've ever seen that girl get so mad, let alone mad at all.' She then quickly wiped the look off her face as Iris asked to speak with her. "Whatever you wish your Highness." She said rather sarcastically. For some reason, she was just in a really sarcastic mood. "We can go to the library if you want. I'm sure that should be enough privacy." She took another look at her group and without taking her eyes off them she continued speaking to Iris, "We have much to discuss you know. The war will soon pick up again and we need to be ready."

Seeing that nither Violet nor Iris had adressed Seifer, Orin stepped up near Bloom to see what Seifer had to say to her.

Bloom let out a small sigh, "Okay then what about the giant and his golem friend? What did you do to them?" she asked folding her arms across her chest, still a little annoyed.
Iris smiled at the 'your highness' comment, "You are right, we do have much to discuss. After you Princess." She looked over her shoulder at the group, "Now you guys be good!" she teased, "Don't make any giants or golems mad, and be nice to each other!" She studied the group for a moment, and then said casually, "Orin is in charge while we are gone!" She didn't care if they took her seriously or not, she just felt like being lighthearted for as long as she could, because she would need to get serious as soon as she walked into the library.

Seifer folded his arms and shook his head, "Today was the first time I had ever seen them. The ogre or the elf probably put them up to it." He took a brief turn and shrugged, "Why are we trying to extrapolate the motives of free range beasts anyway?"

Orin smiled when Iris "put him in charge", but he frowned at Seifers answer. "If you did nothing to the giant, then what of the ogre and elf?" He glared at Seifer, his draconic voice becomig a bt deeper. "And I want the truth. There is no way you can lie to me. No matter what it is, if you do lie, you won't need to think twice before telling me the truth the next time I ask you."

Violet rolled her eyes realizing how stupid the whole situation was anyway. Continuing ahead, she walked in silence for a few minutes down the corridor and into the library. Once her and Iris were inside, she shut the door and turned to face her sister. "Now you know I didn't give him the throne willingly. I just simply thought up a new strategy since the arguing wasn't going to get us anywhere anyway." She paused to look around at the expanse of books which reminded her of the last time she was in a library. 'Now look where that got you.' She sighed deeply before continuing on not wanting to let her sister interrupt her just yet. "I do believe now is the perfect time for expansion of our kingdom, don't you think Iris? I mean yeah we used to have more until Air took it from us but I"m not talking about that land. No, I'm talking about the whole water nation. Really, I doubt they'll see it coming and so what if they do? Their current leader is a bit busy with becoming a neutral bystander while their boarders remain, well, almost defenseless. It's like the perfect window of opportunity, and it may be a bit challenging the get there but think of the end result."
