We're reading Canterbury Tales. In middle english, with modern english translations next to it.
...I swear to god, my eyes are trying to rip themselves out of my skull.

*sympathetic pat for Maku*
I like Canturbury Tales too Miss Reko...but when you get to things like court documents and treatises...it makes your brain melt and leak out your ears. Doubly so if the document is from Scotland. Freaking scots and their crazy a** "the witches are out to kill me with the sea so kill them all...BECAUSE I AM SATAN'S GREATEST ENEMY ON EARTH" king, and bonus strange sentance structure. My prof is from Scotland, and half the time her explanation is "what they're trying to say is...blah blah...it's just crazy scots english."
*mumbles about the protistant reformation awhile before calming down*

Reko Since you're in pain I won't pick at your spelling... >.>; *tilts head* Other than a possible grammatical error or the odd lack of capitalization..I'm pretty sure I nailed the spelling. Other than protistant...that might have an e in it...I did mean to say treatise insteady of treaty or treaties. 's a different thing entirely..something like a thesis or declaration of reasoning... sweatdrop
