He caught it at the handle, righting the dagger in his hand and changing routes, moving far to the side of the two who were chasing behind the rabbit. He watched all three from afar, keeping pace and increasing his speed to pull far to the side of Sin.:

-not able to do anything I stay very still cuddling up to Sokka knowing I would be safe very soon I try to stay awake but from so much blood loss I start to pass out-

:Rage averted direction, running after Sokka. Fallen and Near should be awaiting his arrival, a smile creasing along his face. He ran his blade into a large tree, slicing through it's base as if it were nothing. The massive tree fell down towards Sokka, towering over him as he'd run. :Think fast...
