The snow wolves weren't the only ones in the vast wilderness. A man walked silently over the snow, muttering under his breath. Half of his face was covered in a strange mask that melded into his helmet. Attached to that was a crescent moon. It all seemed eerily familiar. His eyes whipped around to Zypher, only catching the demon's last words. he walked over, a smile on the half of his face that was seeable. That half was scarred from what seemed a hundred battle wounds. "Did I hear you, correctly? Clipping the wings of a god?" He asked, ignoring the wolf clan completely. There was an unnatural gleam in his eyes, and what was stranger. . . The man seemed to have no aura, almost as if he wasn't there at all.

The man never dropped the half smile. The strange half mask was the only thing that made it a half smile. "It is a good idea, but not without it's inconsistencies. The gods aren't quite the fools you make them to be. They may be arrogant self righteous bastards, but they've been on top for a long time for a reason." He replied calmly. His voice was somehow soothing, and irratating at the same time, but the irritating portion slowly faded away. "It's been my goal for a long time, anyway. This destruction of the gods. It's just been trouble finding allies. Your the first in a long while that has been brave enough to even voice a plan. All the others are simple cowards." He never looked at the snow wolf leader, but the last word seemed directed at them, like an arrow.

The man never lost the smile, despite what happened to the wolf demon. "You are remarkably perceptive, demon. I hope your sister is not the same." he said, watching the wolf shatter in the ice. There was a sad twinge in his eyes. "A sad waste to be certain, but that's what happens to fools in the end. That's why so many are afraid to take on the gods, after all. Cowards run away to live another day, after all, but those that live as cowards die as cowards." He said regretfully. His eyes surveyed the other wolf demons with a sad interest. He was called a Wolf himself, and he was sad to see such creatures in fear. He slowly turned back to Zypher. "I'm afraid I can't do that. The castle is not a safe place to speak of such things, and my voice is more dangerous there than anywhere else." The armored man shook his head. Whatever spell that was still there, still was working. "I do have one question, though. . . The weapon has a seal on it, one that even she doesn't know is there. My master found out about it, and made a key. Do you have a key?"

The wolf continued to smile. "The weapon can only use so much at one time. A safety measure, since a simple body cannot take the full power contained within." The man explained. Demons had a lot more power than he, himself did, but his power could match theirs, if he wanted it to. "Serenity would never harm the earth. She has the power to use this key."
The wolf turned to the new demon. His eyes sparkled with something resembling recognition. The old man seemed familiar to the armored man, not that the old wolf would know it as long as he was disguised as he was. "I thought it strange to see such a foolish pack leader. Do you happen to know somebody who calls himself the librarian?" The armored man asked with that ever present smile.

The armored man smiled. "It's better to make connections, than it is assumptions. I connected the librarian with guroo, and you made the assumption that Serenity is more than you beleive, but don't assume too much. As long as the weapon is kept safe, she will leave you alone, too, but I still suggest keeping off her bad side." the man took a step towards the two of them. His hands open wide. "If you need anything, just contact me, and I will relay the message." This was just as succesful for him as it had been for Zypher.

The armored man smile widened into a grin. "That's older than me by quite a margin. I will not be able to speak to you often." he raised his hand to the handshake. The hand was solid, and the metal surrounding it was solid. "I do have a small warning. The monster, You call him General Paradox, will not leave the Weapon in any danger for long. The same goes with Allen and the King. If you want to break the weapon's will, I would suggest using the king for it. The weapon can't deny him, anything." The man said as they shook hands. It was all conversation, and he spoke of it like it was everyday. He was a diplomat at heart, and a soldier in body. This had gone well.

The armored man laughed. "Serenity can deal with Jack. She knows where he is weakest, and I have a score to settle with the king. We already struck at the Monster, and we were going to strike at you next, if this little meeting hadn't gone as planned." The man said with the permanent smile on his face. It was something that he wore, something that he was. It only left him when he was the dour guard of Serenity, and that was painful for him.

The wolf turned around. "Serenity is almost as much a master of deception as the Monster is. Be careful of that, but she won't harm tempest or the queen. She has a thing about ladies. I don't understand it." he replied before walking off. His voice was still heard crystal clear, as if he wasn't walking away. "Be extremely careful in the castle. Their are eyes that you don't even see, Jack, being one of them."
