Yuriku Neko Kafweenu Yuriku "Heheh, you'd be surprised at the number of people who can't (read maps) either... Well where are you heading to?" Riku asked the other alchemist. "Well... that's the problem. I have NO idea," Kat answered, embarassed agian. "Well, then let's go to Central HQ together, I don't mind" Riku replied to Kat. She then folded her map and proceded to ask random people where HQ was. "The mail man said, ' Go two blocks down, make a right turn, and you can't miss it. C'mon let's go I thinks its gonna rain soon." she said running down the street. "S-sure," Kat said, running after Riku.

Ashtoreth narrowed her eyes, switching them to heat sensing, "No, the rain's messing with the sensors."
She was ready to stomp and scream every curse she had ever learned when there was a step behind her. Narrowing her eyes, she quickly began to let a small ball of energy form in her palm, she flinched as the cobblestones under her disappeared slightly.
Turning, she stopped short see a young man with gold hair and slate eyes, "Al..."

It lead to a grand buiding with the bright green chimera banner fluttering in the wind. Riku and Kat went inside. Everyone seemed busy, either filing stuff or sending out orders.

The roads were pretty empty as a girl walked briskly down them. The rain was pouring now and strong winds pulled at the young woman's coat. But, nobody realized that this commoner was actually a Homunculus.... and nobody knew that she was actually the shapeshifter, Envy. (who si a he.... haha xd )
There it is...
He sneered as he walked up to Central HQ. He stood and stared through the windows high up, and noticed that the lights had gone out. He blinked and his eyes returned to their original violet. Envy decided he would see if anything was going on. It wasnt like anybody was going to recognize him as he was morphed into another.
..... and if they do, I will kill them. HAHA!
He snuck around the building unseen and jumped through an open window. Everything was pitch black inside and there wasnt anybody around, though he heard faint voices in one direction. Letting out a small laugh, he walked down the dark corridor, away from teh people.

Riza Hawkeye Chuui As they walked down the hallway, candles in hand, Riza suddenly stopped short, snapped an arm out, catching Roy in the stomach and causing him to make a surprised squawking sound as the three of them came to an abrupt halt in the corridor. Havoc bumped into Hawkeye from behind, and jumped back, throwing his hands in the air.
"What are you doi--?"Riza Hawkeye Chuui "Shh~!" she hissed before he could demand to know what the hell that was for. She lifted her candle and squinted in the darkness. "Didn't you hear that?"
She blew out her candle, reached behind her and snuffed Havoc's between her fingers--"And put out the damn cigarette!"--and watched as Roy extinguished his own candlestick.
Darkness fell heavy around them, and the footsteps stopped. Riza willed her eyes to see through the darkness. The intruder was right in front of them... Havoc fumbled a moment and nearly swallowed the cigarette before it fell from his lips and he stomped on it. He heard a groan from Riza and supposed that had been too noisy for her liking. He compulsively reached into his breast pocket to grasp his trusty lighter. As he made to remove it from the pocket, Riza took a step back, stepped on his foot in the darkness, and he bleated (more in surprise than in pain) and the lighter flew from his hand.
"A~, shimatta~!"Riza Hawkeye Chuui Riza had had enough of the games. She opened her mouth to call out to the tresspasser when there was a yelp from Havoc. She whirled, thinking he had been struck, and was promptly hit in the arm with something. She swatted at it, startled at first, then realized it was his lighter having fallen from his grasp again--"Dammit, Havoc! You're such a klutz!"--and it soared from her flailing hand toward the intruder before them. "I know I'm a klutz!" he howled, and watched her pull a penlight from her pocket and aim it directly at the stranger before them...HaganeNoRenkinjutsushi The noises subsided and he stepped forward quickly. However, when he did, he was met with a sickening thud and a sharp pain to the forehead. He squinted as a light was shone right in his face. He had one eye closed and squinting from the sharp pain he had trailing through his head right now. He reached up and ran his white gloved metal hand through his golden, wet, limp hair that had come loose from the braid.
"H..Havoc?" He managed to mutter as he looked at the others. ...who had apparently just been pelted with his free-spirit lighter. He jumped when it suddenly sunk in that this stranger had called him by his name. He reached forward and grabbed Hawkeye's wrist, the lighter suddenly forgotten as he turned her hand and shone the light directly into the eyes of the intruder.
Gold eyes peered back at him, a flicker of recognition snaked through them, and Havoc felt his mouth slide ajar as his fingers slipped from Hawkeye's hand. He felt an incredulous guffaw fall from his lips as he stumbled backward, his hand on his forehead in a gesture of disbelief.
"Ta...Taishou!?" he laughed aloud, rubbing his eyes as if making sure they were working properly. "You've gotta be kidding me... I...I can't believe..." He shook his head, and then hesitantly reached out, ruffling Edward's wet hair with one hand. "No s**t! It really is you!"
He laughed again and moved quickly past Hawkeye to thrust his hand out and grasp the boy's in a tight handshake that turned into one of Havoc's long arms slung fraternally over Edward's shoulders.
"Where the hell you been, Boss?" he demanded good naturedly, grinding a well-intended noogie into his head. "We've been worried sick about you!!!"

There was obviously something that he was holding in, and he did not seem to like the taste of the words. "We need to talk. Let's find some cover from this rain and then I can explain." He looked around for another building to take shelter within and headed for it. It ended up being back in the direction of the train depot, but cover was cover at this point. He gestured in that direction and moved quickly to a place where the rain was diverted. "Over here!"

Riza Hawkeye Chuui Riza suddenly stopped short, snapped an arm out, catching Roy in the stomach and causing him to make a surprised squawking sound as the three of them came to an abrupt halt in the corridor. Covering his mouth, he made a point to not squawk anymore. He looked from Havoc to Riza and spoke in a tone that was barely above whispering. "We need to stop this intruder."Lieutenant Havoc "Ta...Taishou!?" he laughed aloud, rubbing his eyes as if making sure they were working properly. "You've gotta be kidding me... I...I can't believe..." He shook his head, and then hesitantly reached out, ruffling Edward's wet hair with one hand. "No s**t! It really is you!" He couldn't believe his eyes nor his ears. He stepped next to Havoc and looked down on the person who had moments earlier been considered an intruder by all of them. He blinked several times, thinking his eyes too, were not functioning properly. He tried to form a coherent sentence as he took in a rather sharp breath. "E..Edward?" His voice cracked for a moment. He had intended to call the teen by what he always did, which was Hagane no. His words came out in more of a question than a statement.
He felt the corners of his lips curving upward into a smile as he looked at the golden haired and eyed boy that was before them. He quickly assessed that the no real harm had been done to the teen by Jean. He reached out and gently put a hand on his shoulder, taking care not to be to hard, as Jean had already injured the lad.
"Edward Elric..." His stern deep-gray eyes looked into the Ed's golden ones, he took Edward's hand into his own and shook it. "We have a lot of talking to do. There are many things that need to be addressed. We have no time to lose. Everyone, back to my office immediately." With that said, he turned, snapped his fingers and lit his candle again and headed back toward his office.
"Oh, and Edward? I have something for you..."

Honoo no Renkinjutsushi Riza Hawkeye Chuui Riza suddenly stopped short, snapped an arm out, catching Roy in the stomach and causing him to make a surprised squawking sound as the three of them came to an abrupt halt in the corridor. Covering his mouth, he made a point to not squawk anymore. ((LMAO! ah! that was awesome, Junshou! xd ))Honoo no Renkinjutsushi "E..Edward?" His voice cracked for a moment. Riza inhaled sharply. Why...Roy hadn't called Edward by his name in ages! Granted, he hadn't seen the boy in ages...but even before Edward's disappearance, Roy had rarely called the young man anything other than by his Alchemist's title.
Her heart skipped half a beat at the crack in the brig. gen.'s voice as the name rolled off his tongue. As much as she herself had been fond of Edward and had been torn at the boy's sudden disappearance, she knew it was massively dwarfed by the attachment Roy had always had with the young brothers. As much as they had bickered...for all the harsh words exchanged between Mustang and the elder Elric...what had been unsaid between the arguments was a solidarity and a brotherly trust that Riza couldn't even fathom.Lieutenant Havoc He laughed again and moved quickly past Hawkeye to thrust his hand out and grasp the boy's in a tight handshake that turned into one of Havoc's long arms slung fraternally over Edward's shoulders.
"Where the hell you been, Boss?" he demanded good naturedly, grinding a well-intended noogie into his head. "We've been worried sick about you!!!" Riza's face split in a laugh she failed to contain when Edward deftly slipped out from beneath Havoc's arms and landed a solid punch to the older man's arm in protest to the noogie.
"Havoc-chuui, perhaps Edward-kun has had a hard enough time today without you giving him one," she chided, and cast warm, welcoming eyes on the young man.
He had grown some in their time apart. Heh...not significantly enough to curb the junshou's short jokes, Riza was certain...but noticeably nonetheless. His golden hair was still long, though it seemed the braid had been defeated by the rain... She looked him over with the eyes of an approbatory elder sister, then smiled. In the time they had been separated, Edward had gone from being a slim, stubborn child to a strong and sturdy young man.
But, while his height and build might have changed over time, his eyes had not. He still had the same defiant and capable eyes Riza remembered. Four years apart could not change the inner fire and deep determination within the saffron pools of Edward Elric's eyes.
Those eyes Riza had always respected, even when they had been glaring at her from the other side of an argument, or wallowing in a puddle of self-deprecation after having failed a mission. Those eyes that never lost their brighhtness, no matter what.
She locked eyes with him a moment, and there was a brief silence in which a thousand things needed not even be said, before the liuetenant removed her uniform jacket and placed it around Edward's dripping shoulders.
"Welcome back, Edward-kun," she said gently, her hand lingering on his shoulder a moment before she stepped away and saluted her superior crisply. "We missed you...sir..." wink Honoo no Renkinjutsushi "Edward Elric..." His stern deep-gray eyes looked into the Ed's golden ones, he took Edward's hand into his own and shook it. With that said, he turned, snapped his fingers and lit his candle again and headed back toward his office. Riza quickly fell in step behind Roy as they headed back to the office. This promised to be an inquisition of epic proportions... Where had Edward been for the past four years? What had he seen? What had he accomplished? All Riza knew for cure was...she wasn't going to miss this story for the world...

Honoo no Renkinjutsushi "E..Edward?" His voice cracked for a moment. He had intended to call the teen by what he always did, which was Hagane no. A moment after hearing Roy call him by his name, he inhaled sharply as well. He was not sure if his superior was angry with him or elated with happiness. He opened his mouth to speak a coherent sentence, though nothing came out. Casting his golden eyes to the side for an instant he confided "T..tadaima" With that his eyes snapped back to his superior, his face a contortion of sorrow, happiness, and above the rest, confusion. He still wasn't completely sure how he got back, nor did he know anything about what had been going on in this world. He briefly glanced to Havoc, then to Hawkeye, then back to Mustang. He shivered slightly. It had been one hell of a day already and now he was in a fairly cold building and dripping wet. He ran his fingertips through his tousled golden colored mop as he attempted a smile towards the trio in front of him.Honoo no Renkinjutsushi "Edward Elric..." His stern deep-gray eyes looked into the Ed's golden ones, he took Edward's hand into his own and shook it. "We have a lot of talking to do. There are many things that need to be addressed. We have no time to lose. Everyone, back to my office immediately." What was a smile turned immediately into a bit of a frown. Sighing heavily, he looked to Mustang. "Mustang-taisa... really... I didn...t mean for any of it to happen... I...I... uh..." his golden eyes cast to the ground, he bit his lower lip a bit. He had hoped that he would have been more welcome and not questioned immediately. However, he should have known this was they way it would be. It was always this way with Mustang. It seemed to Ed like Mustang was only happy to see him back so he could question his whereabouts and what had happened over the past four years.
All of this was something Ed hadn't wanted to remember right that moment. He shrugged and nodded. "I'll answer whatever questions you may have to the best of my ability, sir." With that, he snapped a crisp salute, his hair shook a bit when he did this, causing Riza and Jean to get splashed with water from the golden locks. Though it may have been seen as him trying to be a smartass, he actually was not. Once more his shoulders slumped a bit in defeat as he gazed at the floor, which for some reason had become extremely interesting.Riza Hawkeye Chuui "Havoc-chuui, perhaps Edward-kun has had a hard enough time today without you giving him one," she chided, and cast warm, welcoming eyes on the young man. His looked to Riza and mouthed a silent "Arigatou goziamasu". "Havoc-chuui?" His eyes flitted toward the man who was now standing on two feet instead of in a wheelchair which was where he last saw him before he had been thrown from this world. His lips turned up into a smile as he shook Havoc's hand. "Wow! You got promoted!! However, that doesn't change the fact that I must still agree with Hawkeye-chuui." He glared at Havoc a bit, not in a mean way, but more of a 'I'm not a little shrimp you can just get away with giving a noogie to' look. He then broke into a small smile, despite the fact that he had a nagging feeling Mustang was going to start reading him the riot act as soon as they got to his office for having disappeared with not a single warning.
Alas, this was the life of a military dog, or, one who used to be a military dog. Though nothing could have kept him from smiling at that particular moment in time, as he was back home and very happy to be there.
Things sure had changed since he was last there. Not to mention, to his satisfaction, everyone still looked the same. Ne, they looked the way they did before things got bad when he was there last.Riza Hawkeye Chuui She locked eyes with him a moment, and there was a brief silence in which a thousand things needed not even be said, before the liuetenant removed her uniform jacket and placed it around Edward's dripping shoulders. Looking into her auburn eyes a for a moment, perhaps a moment too long, as he found himself getting lost in them. For some reason his cheeks tinged a bit pink as he softly spoke to her. "A..arigatou goziamasu. It tends to be a bit on the chilly side in here when you're drenched." He looked down toward the black shirt, which was now form fitting against his slender, yet muscular abdomen, which was emphasized because of the clingy-ness due to the fact it was dripping. His pants now looked a bit more like something Elvis would be wearing due to how much they were clinging to his legs.
It was times like this that irritated him that water caused clothing to attach itself to the human body like a magnet. He absent mindedly tugged at his shirt a bit. It was sucking any heat he had left in his body right out. Sighing and giving up, he shot Riza one more thankful look.Riza Hawkeye Chuui "Welcome back, Edward-kun," she said gently, her hand lingering on his shoulder a moment before she stepped away and saluted her superior crisply. "We missed you...sir..." His eyes remained on here for a moment as he reached up and gently touched her hand with his human one. His voice coming out in nothing more than a whisper as tears threatened to sting his eyes. "T..tadaima...Hawkeye...ne. Riza." He went ahead with what he felt to be right though it was showing disrespect for her seniority. He offered a weak smile as he let her hand go and drew her coat in around him.
Indeed he was a bit taller, as this coat would have definitely dwarfed him four years ago, though he was still not as tall as everyone else. He stood at about 5'5", which was much better than he was the last time he had been there. However, Mustang had enough height on him to still be able to call him ochibi-chan or whatever he wanted to. He silently followed everyone into the office, smiling a bit on the way though he was surely about to meet his demise through questioning from Mustang.
He was definitely happy to be home.
