It's really funny in my band because all 99% of our low brass section is female. When they make jokes about boners and stuff it's ridiculously hilarious.

So the other day we had a sub in band, who just ahppens to be a former bd so we got to play.
Well, because i am in first and second hour band, I got to just sit there until everyone came in fro second hour. Well, the lfutes come in and start fingerign their parts.
Sub: You know something I've noticed about flutes?
They tend to blow when they finger. I don't get why you think you have to do them at the same time. you can finger without blowing.
We all burst out laughing. Poor Mr. jones, he couldn't figure out what was so funny. he just kind of looks around like "what?"

well we have one that is a favorite with my section in band (trombone). what you do is replace one word, only one, in the name of the song with the word balls. its pretty good. some of my favorites are:
simple gifts= simple balls
dark lords and ancient kings= either dark balls and ancient kings, or dark lords and ancient balls
carribian rondo= carribian balls
ice breakers= balls breakers
pretty fly= balls fly, or pretty balls
blue skys and ghost riders= blue balls and ghost riders

So today in abnd we had an alumni who has been visiting every thrusday and tuesday, and today he wanted to play his college band solo in front of us for some feedback, and so of course, one kid commented about his triple toungingXD
"You toungue amazingly."
We all started laughing. And then our bd is like "and you would know, wouldn't you? Going to exchange didgits after class?"
oh, and I just relized I spelt digts wrong. It looks okay though, so I won't bother fixing it

My band director is not afraid to curse. And we have a trombone player that is trying to play the Tuba. He's doing ok for only playing for three days but he should go into beginning band. Anyway, we were in the middle of a part where the flutes have the melody and then the Tuba comes in and Mrs. Dixon(BD) says, "Joey! This is a flute solo! This isn't a flute solo with the background sound of two turtle ******** each other!"
It's the greatest in there.

HylianLegacy You know you been in band too long if dressing and undressing people isnt even remotely sexually stimulating!!! i totally agree... i'm n my 5th year of highskool band & it's jus natural for me 2 hav sum zippin or unzippin my jacket... it's jus 1 of those thangs... xD we all undress n front of eachother guys & girls both... & we all scream "put ur pants on!" & nobody turns red... i love the 1st football games every year, jus watchin all the noobs faces when we start undressin

So.... I may be a flute player, but these jokes are always repeated:
-practice safe sax, wear a neckstrap

Those are the most used(no pun intended) and my whole band/marching band is perverted, so I love band because it's fun and I love music.

That if you play a woodwind or brass, you're a better kisser. My friend who was in the play with me has a joke with me and my group of friends that he's my lover xd , and that one of our trumpeters goes to Chuck E. Cheese and preys on toddlers in the ball pit. Our group of hardcore music geeks have our weird moments.

My friend: Saxes are cooler then trombones they practice safe sax!
Me: Oh yeah, well trombones are even better we do it in 7 different positions!

Hahah, omigosh. I have too many perverted jokes to pick from, but I guess I'll pick the most recent one. This is hilarious.
So, Matt (a trombone player) held his trombone straight to his, erm, crotch, and yelled "I have a tromboner!" Everyone bursted into laughter and some girls covered their eyes. rofl And then he slid his trombone slide back and forth.... We all knew that he went way too far. xd

Okay...so we were at all-county practice, and the Director asked the saxophones to play. He looked at the band and said, "The rest of you can just finger around your parts."
