Well, Miss Reko, it just sort of...happened, over time. Had it cut for the first time ever in highschool, and it had to be chopped to the small of my back because the ends were all raggedy-gross. Its slowly worked its way up from there.
I just slowly got annoyed with having to fuss with it, braid it, it getting caught on chairs, blah blah blah lazycakes. Not to mention my hair is poker-straight and too ultra-fine to do jack with- it rejects hair dye within two weeks, any attempts to curl/style it sort of melt apart in a matter of hours, and slithers out of barettes, braids, buns and ponytails- it more or less is going to do what it wants, and there's nothing on this planet anyone can do about that fact.
The end of the long-haired days is sort of odd. When I moved to Calder a few years back, broke up with the jerkface of an ex and was subsequently dropped by the bitchy ex-roommates, I chopped a bunch off and donated it in this wierd sort of 'well ******** you then, I'm starting over' thing.
Oh, and I ended up taking a bunch of metalsmithing and printmaking classes, which involve lots of fire and acid, neither of which I wanted getting on my hair- acid burn and catching on fire are not high on my list of priorities.

Reko Psh, Yngwie... I'm unimpressed. My friend ate a hug a** bug that was peeled off of someone's shoe for like... three dollars. 1. Nobody paid me to eat it. I actually paid money to get them. 2. I ate the whole bag of bugs, not just the one. 3. I'll bet it was a gummi bug your friend ate.

I see why, Mizz Pixie... How long would it take you to grow it out? sweatdrop Taken me my whole damn life to get it this long, and I'm rather attached... even if it is a pain in the a**.
Besides, I hate my curls. When my hair is shorter, it's SUPER curly.
