Wysteria had left the magicians. She had seen better magic. She wandered the room, scanning the rooms occupants while occasionally looking for Aurora.

Some rather unusual characters had shown. One male in particular was making Meridian particularly nervous. He was in all black and had an air of arrogance about him that could challenge Meridian's own. His grip on his son slipped. He realized he saw him when he saw the drows last. Ah, but he was foolish then. One more reason to keep his son chained to one strong woman and out of harms way.
Aidan felt his father's hold loosen a bit and looked for a quick exit around the room. The place was so packed! If he could just get away he could use it to his advantage and get lost in the crowd. His attention turned to a red and white familiar female and upon seeing her, a slow grin spread on his face and he hatched a plan in his head

Amara was about to agree when she caught sight of one like herself. The male seryph she had seen days ago. "He's here!" she gasped softly.

Ro chuckled "Those poor boys had no say in this from what I understand... it was all the parents. So if you're going to curse anyone it should be them. I'm not going to stop you.. but I'd rather you leave the boys, especially Tihalt alone" She eyed where the boy was creeping along the wall "I think he's being tortured enough.."

Atar glanced over and smiled charmingly at Amara and made his way over "How wonderful! A female Seryph.. I had no idea there were any about in the Valleys." He gave a bow "I am Atar. Are you enjoying this fine ball so far?"

Aquaria spotted the male Amara was talking about. "Well don't just stand there! Let's go talk to him!" She grabbed Amara and walked determinedly over to the firey looking male seryph. "Excuse me?" She batted her eyelashs at the man, smiling seductively as she did so. He looked like he thought he was a sex god or something.
Eurusa shook her head. That girl is never going to learn...you can't just march up to men...

"Then how am I suppose to amuse myself," Azaroth sighed, shifting slightly.

"Hello," Amara managed in a soft voice, barely a whisper. "I," she took a breath trying to steady herself but it was difficult when he was standing there so dashing and handsome. "I think I am enjoying it very much, sir."

"Alright," Delilah told herself making her way to the door. "Just talk to Aidian, wish him luck, and go. Alright? It won't be that difficult..." she paused catching a reflection of herself in one of the ponds lining the path. She had dressed with care, even pulling her hair partially up into an elegant twist. It would be a pity to let it all go to waste...
"No!" She told herself sharply marching towards Aidan forcing a smile on her face. We're just going to do this and go.

Aquaria silently left Amara to talk with her seryph friend. As she was scanning the room, she nearly bumped into a purple pony. "Oh, I'm sorry." She dodged at just the right moment. "I should have been paying more attention..."

Ro shrugged "You could always go torture Meridian. That would be amusing for you. Or you know... you could try socializing a little. Maybe you'll make some new friends..."

Aidan saw his chance walking along the back wall, and he pulled away with all of his strength, (He wasn't a dragon's son for nothing) breaking free and ran right to Delilah. "You have to save me! My crazy father is trying to marry me off to keep me from becoming like him."
Meridian looked to where his son had run off to and his eyes locked onto the sight of a familiar friend. The familiar friend just happened to be Delilah looking her most enchanting, and if Meridian had any weakness at all, this was definitely it. His jaw dropped to the floor and all thoughts of his son vanished.

"Awww I'm enough for you? How sweet!" She grinned and shrugged again "Then you'll keep me company until something catches your attention. Hmm.. lets see what they have to eat and drink here. I'm a bit peckish..."

Tihalt sighed and paused near an alcove "maybe he could hide here..." he gasped as Galiena dragged him to the center of the room
"LADIES! HERE'S ONE OF THE PRINCES! HAVE AT HIM!"
He watched stunned as Galiena left as quickly as she came and turned wide eyes to the room. Great... now what?

Aquaria shrank back into the corners of the room. She wasn't going to stand in Amara's way. She had wanted to talk to the seryph, and so she was. She looked around for the little pegasus prince. She wanted to talk to him. He looked like he might be the only one worth talking to, though she would never think of breeding with one so young.
Chronos came up silently beside Aquaria. "Are you ready to admit that you need an escort now?" His features were hard and unreadable.
"I am doing fine on my own, Lord Chronos." Her voice dripped with contempt. She gracefully turned to walk away from him. That arrogant a*****e...he should be sent back to whence he came...

"Wait, wait, Aidan, slow down," Delilah said trying to calm the teen. "Now what is going on here? Are you alright?"

Amara nodded, timidly glancing up at him, "Yes, several of our kind have found their way to these valleys. Many males and a handful of females, even some children." She offered him a shy smile, "May I ask, sir, how it is you came to be here?"

Aquaria heard the girl shout about a prince. She darted to the middle of the room. "Do you want to stay here where they can find you, or do you want to hide?" She offered a friendly hoof. "I know this can't be all that fun for you. I'm offering to help you hide!"

"I'm sorry, but I'm out of here. I don't think I can thank you enough!" With that he left, and soon was lost in the crowd.
Meridian gulped as he fought to slow his heart down from that wondrous sight. Feeling playful he grinned and started walking towards her.
