Devillyangelic Hmpf... Is UCF on a nature preserve? UNF is... The nature trails are awsome. lol But which school do you like better academically? *subliminal Message* UNF IS BETTER!!!!!!! *End Subliminal Message* lol I don't know if its on a nature perserve, but I have a swamp in my backyard that I can go hiking through at anytime...except at night. Academically, UCF, I think fits what I need better than UNF for my degree area of engineering. UNF's Engineering college is young just like their computer science college. UCF's is alittle older. The best college to go to probably is actually UF, but I'm not to sure I liked the campus. But I have two years to decide.

Devillyangelic Two years? Are you going to go to a community college? Yes, its cheaper. And it gives me some more time to decide things out. In both college and the BA major. I'm haveing multiple thoughts on whether to do engineering or computer programming.

That sounds like a good plan. Although I suggest engineering cause the world needs more women engineers.

Devillyangelic That sounds like a good plan. Although I suggest engineering cause the world needs more women engineers. I agree with that, but also all the baby boomers from the 50s and 60s that are engineers and doctors currently will be retiring about the same time we finish our degrees. Programmers will also be in demand around that time frame as well.

Personally I still thin that you should become an engineer. There are more programers than engineers, from what I know...

I'm not sure. I know of and know engineers and programmers. But thats because I'm related to them or my mom works with them.

Personally I know more engineers then programmers, cause my dad is a project engineer (he only has an associates so he can't be called an engineer but his boss gives him as much responsibility and leeway as an engineer... long story) and my aunt is an electrical engineer. i only know my brother for acctual programmer.
WOW that post ended up being a lot longer than needed... lol

Mom, Dad, Aunt, and Two Uncles are Engineers. Mom works with four engineers. Mom and one of the other engineers do some programming. Mom works with another person who is a programmer. Two Uncles are programmers.

Devillyangelic Thats a lot of people. What intrests you about programming/engineering? Programming - I liked to make the websites for web design class from last year. In BST I liked the fact that excel can link different cell and stuff and add, subtract...by the code there. Acces was just a cool program. VB was neat, but I didn't learn enough to do anything with...ran out of time to learn it. Engineering - I like to take different things apart and see how they work. I also I like take things apart if they don't work, and try to make them work. Another reason was the personallity test I took, recommended both job areas for my personalilty.
