How long have you been playing? A little more than a year What model bass do you have? I don't know, it looks like a sunburst Strat, but it's by SX Guitars. My dad got it for me Christmas 2005. Preferred method of playing? Uhh, used to be pick, but i lost my only bass pick and I'm too lazy to buy another one, so now i just do finger. I find finger easier now though. Personal Influences? My dad. Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist? Either my dad or Matt Ridenour of Hawthorne Heights. Any thing you'd like to add (about the rules or anything at all?)? ...Not really.

How long have you been playing? Only been playing for about three months. I'm not very good yet. Yet. What model bass do you have? Nothing special, but she's mine. A Fender Squier my mom bought when she was in her "I'm going to learn a new instument" phase. Preferred method of playing? Fingers. No pick for me, no slap for me. I'm too young so far as skills go. whee Personal Influences? The bass player from a local Southern Rock band, The Ryhtym Pigs: Wendi Phillips. The most amazing female bassist ever. Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist? Wendi and Jimmy (Also Rythym Pigs.) Any thing you'd like to add (about the rules or anything at all?)? Haven't been around long enough. Give me some time and I could probably think of a few things. NEW! Who recruted you, how did you find out about this guild? I was messin' around in a forum and saw a banner in someone's signature.
I'm a first year college student and live in Virginia. I'm hoping to play with the pigs some day, so everyone in the Hampton Roads area should come out when I finally do. Glad to be here, can't wait to get to know you guys!

I have been playing bass guitar for 9, going on 10 years.
I have 5 different bass guitars right now1.) four stringed Ibanez (btb510 something-er-other) 2.)four stringed acoustic/electric herringbone that I had signed by Les Claypool at Bonnaroo 2006 3.)five stringed squier jazz bass 4.)a short-necked four stringed Teisco 5.) my starter bass, a P.O.S. that was put together for me by a friend when i first started, it has a HondoII body, thats all i know of it.
I prefer to play slap bass but I am versed in all styles of techniques.
Influenced by Stanely clarke, Claypool, Wooten, Pastorius, Stu Hamm, Billy Sheehan, Bootsy collins, Justin chancellor(look him up if you are't wise to him), Burton, Lee,and of course Flea.
My idol/favorite would be Claypool or Burton, I cant decide... sweatdrop
I have nothing more to add. Thanks to unintentional poet for the add!

How long have I played? Around maybe four or five years maybe more I can't remeber I was stoned for a few of those years and feel like a horrible person because of it. Bass do I play? Welp I have a samic silver tone five string, a J bass, and a magical stand up that I got at a junk sale. I need a gibson thunderbird and les paul. Gibson is my brand of expensive. Plus berhinger 1200 watt 4x10 cab and what ever head they sell for it. Infulences Victor wooten, jerry only, Alexi Laiho. (I know Alexi isn't a bass player but his words and playing has definatly influnece me. Fav player Why me ofcouse I love my self and I don't know any of them so the only logical answer would be me. Or my boyfriend its a hard choice right there I love us both about the same. (Even though we aren't great.) Currently working on: Learing how to play a few songs from Children of Bodom and Profugus mortis. Also more speakers, and a new bass, probably a J bass just cuz. My bible: Who is your master? Bass Who is the lord Bass Who created the world Bass Whom do you serve Bass What is your meaning To bring such a low and loud frequency of sound that any creature or peace of the land will erupt into flame and ash at the playing of my notes, I shall bring them to their knees with the power of my Ax, and they will feel the earth shack as I play slap. Fear the coming of the reaper, my scyth is the most deadly and you people in the crowd shall be my crop. (I say that every once in a while at a concert its a good show starter.)
