"I slept alright, yes." he said, smiling then looking back at the sea. "well, we left, so now there's no turning back."
...some are cast by darkness.

Angie nodded and then swung up to the rope ladder to the mast, and climbed to the very top, and climbed up on its barrel form and let the rising wind whip through her hair and she shouted down, "We should sail with this wind, it could die down later!"

Angie swung down on a rope to the wheel and said, "According to what this 'ere compus says, we need to be veering a little more the left." then she shouted some orders to him to let down the mail sails.
((i have no real clue as to how ships really work...so. yea. LOL))

Avery's eye cracked open and he sat up abruptly, pushing his eyepatch onto his forehead, and looking around. He nimbly got to his feet and jumped onto the side of the lookout, one hand on a rope. "Captain! We set sail!? "He said with a wide grin of excitement. What a wonderful thing to see! Avery had never seen the ocean from an actual ship before; it was amazing. Avery looked at the wheel of the ship anxiously. He then pulled out his own rusted and old compus and stared at it for a few seconds before tucking it back and sliding down a rope.
