I hate it when people dont respect me cos im younger than them... I'm still co section leader people!!!! At least listen to me when I'm telling you something that the drum major told me to tell you....

I hate it when...
9th Graders try to tell the lil 8th grader what to do and put them down. They was just like that LAST YEAR (They let 8th graders march in my band.)
People say percussion sucks or its easy.
When 8th graders think they're the best. So good they think they have drum major status.... NO.
Last when people wanna fight you over an accident. Oops i knocked over your stand now you want to fight me, Intresting.

I hate marching in the rain. I hate our ponchos we have to wear. They trap all the heat inside like greenhouses. I don't want to be steamed to death during the pregame show.
Really hope it doesn't rain tomorrow...

1. When the trumpets think they're all that, and a bag of chips.
2. When people are constantly out of tune, even though we just got in tune.
3. People are reading books when they should be playing the tuning note.

1) When any section thinks they're better than another
2) When the director doesn't pay attention to the color guard
3) When freshman think theyre cool when they know last year's jokes
4) When people assume that if you're in band you must have a 3.5 GPA or higher
5) When people want to argue with you that marching band is not a sport
6) When you've graduated....and you miss being in marching band.... sad

-When your "director" decides she is gonna plot to make the entire band quit
-When said director starts with one of your good friends
-When because you are friends with said person, you are next in line
-When directors love the most annoying kid
-People don't care or want to be in band, but are anyway
-people dont practice and complain to you when the director takes their spot away
-When the worst marcher thinks he is good
-When someone complains about not making student staff
-When said student gives the person who did get what they wanted hell.
-kids who are late everyday
-people who dont show up for rehearsals, but go to games and comps
-When people talk at attention
-When people move at attention
-When people are marching and break attention to fix their hair. When they are in the front of the band. At a comp

soothes the mind and gives it rest,
I hate it when people either: jump over instruments in marching band, or, horse-around near instruments like they're cheap vuvuzelas. For example, John Doe and Mary Johnson were playing tag in between the rows when were in band. John Doe stepped on the bell of a French Horn while the owner of said Horn was in the restroom. $250 to repair the utterly destroyed bell of the French Horn. No amount of "Sorry"s could ever fix what he did.
