The father and son where still talking, about loyalty and such. They where sitting out on the very edge of the village on some rocks. Looking at them, you would think they where twins, same hair styles, same eyes, same two dots on their foreheads, even the same clothes. At times Kin tried to be like his father a little too much.

"Kimimaro Nii-san...Kinimaro..."
He greeted his cousin and Kimimaro's son as he finally found them at the edge of the village, Kodomo felt a slight sense of pride swell within him to be near two of his clan. It reminded him that he was not alone in the world and that there were at least still some of his people left in the world aside from himself, it was a good feeling. But really aside from that he really wanted Kimimaro to teach him the abilities of his clan which would allow him a step closer to being what his father wanted.
"I have returned..."
He spoke to them in a rather monotone, he was careful to never be very bouncy or let his emotions show when he was around his village, it gave people weapons to use agaisnt him.

Kimimaro nodded at the boy, "Welcome back."
Kin looked over briefly then turned back to his father, "When do you think she will return?"
Kim sighed, growing tired of their conversation, "A day, a week, a month, a year. Its hard to tell Kin, just let it go, she will come back whens he comes back."
Kin looked annoyed, knowing it was because Kodo was there that his father was rushing their conversation to an end.

"I hope I am not intterupting...I would like to learn more of our clan's abilities..."
Kodomo knew his cousin's child did not like his father's attention taken away from him but Kodomo just wanted to learn about his clan's abilities not to break a father-son bonding time. He only wished to get what he desired, nothing more nothing less it was just what he did, he was glad to leave them be if he must and he would eventually get what he wanted. He kept his face straight he never really liked to show his emotions most especially to his cousin or his son he tried to keep to himself.
"But only if you two are done..."

"We're done." Kimimaro stood up, "Kin, why don't you go find your friends."
"I don't have any father. Maryan isn't here, and Raja would rather watch me wriggle from her spiders poison then socialize with anyone." Kin looked annoyed.
Kimimaro sighed, raising his son so close to him maybe wasn't the best idea he had in his younger years.

Kodomo looked at his cousin's son he felt sorry for him, he was so close to his father all the years he had not known how to go and make friends with others. Kodomo sighed he did not like to think it but he did have a soft spot for his cousin's son the boy was about his age, he would have been friends with the boy if things where different. However he did not like the boy's "friends" Maryan and of course he had already described Raja's behavoir to them.
"Nii-san he doesn't have to leave if that is alright...I would just like to learn our clan's abilities if you are not busy...I'm sure Kinimaro could benifit from it as well..."
He watched his cousnin and then allowed his eyes to fall to his son, he was not sure of the two, he did not like their ideals, the way they were the devoted loyalty was not Kodomo's thing.

"Well it depends, Kin already knows three of the dances, and then his own. But lets see, how about a simple for now, Dance of the willow. In the end you can practice sparring with eachother." Kimimaro looked at Kodo and then at Kin.
Kin took a deep breath and sighed, "I guess.....but only to grow stronger for Maryan-sama."

Kodomo was not so very sure about this because he knew his cousin's son had trained more in their clan's abilities then Kodomo had because Kodomo had not trained under Kimimaro and went to the academy. He was wondering how this would end he hoped it ended well cause he did not want to harm or be harmed by his cousin's son. But if this is what he had to do to become strong then that is what he would do, it was not a matter of blood or a matter of pride it was a matter of power.
"I am ready..."
He nodded to his cousin and then stepped away waiting for his cousin's instruction to them, he pondered what this ability was as well as what he would be able to use it for.

Kim nodded looking at both boys.
"It is very simple. Kodo I assume you know the basic manipulation of calcium, this one utilized the bone in the lower arm. He used his hand to show which bone he was talking of by pointing at it on his other arm. "When used in normal combat it is a deadly force of hadn to hand fighting." he put both his hands out, making sure his sleeves where pulled back and extended the bones forward. The two bones where like long pointed spears.
Kin watched intently then extended one of his own, only issue, it came out of the top of his hand near his wrist instaed of his palm.

"Hmm...I can do that I think..."
This was not easy, he could do it but the only problem was because that it took a long time for him to manage to get the bone to form in the right place and it took concentration. He had managed to make the bone come out of his palm but it had taken a while and he had not managed to do it more then on one palm and that was it. He knew full well it would take a lot more then what he was doing to make himself able to do them both and be able to react and push them from both palms and his legs and such.
"Haa...I don't think I can manage to do another one...Ugh..."

"Join the club...." it has taken Kin the same amount of time to get one right.
"Are you telling me its hard?" Kinimaro crossed his arms, his spikes had vanished.
"Yes, its hard trying to form the calcium AND Make sure its coming out the right way." Kin sighed, looking at his father annoyed.
"In time it will become instinct and you will soon learn to be able to expel these bones with a single thought from any part of your body. Just practice." Kin sat down on a rock and watched the two as they continued to practice.
Kin put his other hand out and began to focus, but as one began to extend he failed to notice the other retracting.

Kodomo simpley nodded and then he once again began to try to form another spike from his hand, he cringes and tried to will his calcium to multiply so he could do so. But it just was not as easy as he might have hoped, but of course nothing that had anything to do with his clan had ever been easy for him to accomplish. He forced his body to do it though but sadly he had only managed to make a small spike in the palm of each hand seeing as the other had receded.
"Hmm...That wasn't very good..."
He sighed and tried harder to make them sprout from his palms he was not sure what it was that caused it but he knew that if he could will it he could manage to do what he needed.

He needed to do more, this wasn't him, he was better then this after all of that training and all the chakra control he had managed this was something he could do. Then it struck him, perhaps what his bones ability came from was indeed chakra, and since he had never really tried to used his chakra to do the abilities it had never worked as well. So perhaps this was why he had never truly excelled in his own clan's abilities but not this time he would do better and surpass his recent limits. He now began to focus chakra into the mix drawing out, he felt great he could not sense the calcium in his bones, he could feel what he was doing. Finally he focussed and actually managed to cause both bones to sprout a little further out then they had been when he had started, now this was beggining to go somewhere.
"Be proud father..."
He spoke to himself in a hushed whisper, he knew he was heading in the right direction now, all he needed to do was to practice more and more and get the two bones to exstend further. He will have this technique down in no time if he kept going the way he was not, he inwardly smirked to himself, he was glad to finally have this training.

Kodomo thought he was beggining to finally get the hand of what he was doing, however a slight mishap had occured and he had instead made the bone of his elbow shoot backward from him. He nearly poked Kinimaro with it but quickley retracted it, it had been large but had also been in the wrong place for him. This however embaressing it had been just meant he was starting to get what it was that he was trying to do, it meant that he was on the right path to controlling it. He was of course glad that he had managed even that small feat for it just meant that he had managed to grow his bones from his body as Kimimaro had showed.
"Hmm...I think I'm finally getting it..."
He spoke under his breath, he knew he was finally beggining to do what his father had always dreamed of him doing, and that was mastering his clan's innate abilities of their bones.

He needed to relax now, he was tensing up so badly he was forgetting to breath and his face was starting to turn blue and purple while he stood there. He finally took a deep breath and exhaled it was not easy doing these things and sometimes it was even painful when he was doing them, he didn't want it to be painful. Though really it only was when he did not focus on what it was he was doing very carefully or he may shoot a bone out of the wrong place and it would hurt.
"I must relax or I am going to make myself pass out..."
He sighed to himself and then continued to work on his training to do what Kimimaro had set in front of them, this dance however would come in handy indeed. The ability to sprout bones from any part of your body in succession was a latent ability that would make any Kaguya's body into quite the living weapon indeed.
