Kiyoko came out of her trance with Josh's question. She opened her mouth to speak, but before she could get a bit of voice to project, Anne had reappeared. For some reason, when she passed the cat girl, Kiyoko could smell something strange in the the girl'd breath...but what was it?
She then heard a loud, strange sound emerge from her stomach. Of course! When was the last time she actually ate? And she had passed some fruit too! "I'll be right back." she said quickly, heading off into the bushes yet again. Thankfully, the tree was pretty close by, with some delicious fruits hanging from it's branches. With cat like flexability, she jumped up into the tree, and began to gather some fruit for both her and the others. It wasn't long before she had finished, but at the same time not wasting the tree's fruit by picking a good amount, and not too many. With full arms, she lept down from the tree, landing on her feet. Sweet! I could get used to this! she thought to herself, as she carried the fruits back to the group. She sat them on a non-dirty patch of grass beside them, and took one for herself. "Here's some food if you want any." she said to the group as she looked at the juicy fruit hungarly, and bit into it daintly. Oh, how delicous!

(( I think Timmy learned Anne's name at some point. If someone knows that I haven't, I'll change it ))
Timmy waved as in turn the mermaid, the cat-girl, and Anne came in, and he realized he still didn't know most of their names yet.
"You guys should get to sleep already, you know?" Anne said.
Timmy shrugged. "Eh, I'm not all that tired yet." And indeed, it seemed just having something as normal as sitting around a campfire talking and eating had given Tim his second wind. He brought a hand casually over his mouth and stifled a yawn. OK, so maybe he was a little tired.
"I'll be right back."
Tim looked up as the cat-girl left. As he did, he noticed the stars. 'Wow' he mouthed. Living in Hong Kong all his life, there'd almost always been too many lights to really see much of the stars. But now the stars were the lights, and boy were they beautiful. The moon was a slick crescent, huge in the sky over the eastern horizon. Just then the girl came back, and with food. He picked one up and held it in his hand to eat later; he didn't really trust his powers fully yet, anyway. Plus, that drained feeling was back. Less than last time, but still there, and he figured it probably had to do with how much he used his powers. "So," he said, looking around at the group. Pointing to cat-girl and then mermaid he said, "I know Josh and Anne, but I don't know you two yet. I'm Tim. Timmy."
(( @ Selphie: You said you might have two moons, so since this one's still low in the sky you could ))

Kiyoko broke out of her food-trance when she heard the younger boy speak. Well, she now knew his name was Tim. She swallowed her bite first before speaking. "I'm Kiyoko! Nice to meet you." she answered, shaking the boy's hand. She then glanced into the woods; Liam was still in the woods. She hoped the boy was alright, and just taking his time gathering whatever it was he was gathering.
She then yawned, while putting her hand over her mouth for the sake of politeness. She then rubbed her eyes, much like a small child; the day overall had taken out every ounce of physical (as well as some emotional) strength.

Anne smiled at Kiyoko's yawn; it reminded her of a cat she had had when she was little. The night was fresh, but not exactly cold, and the many sounds of the forest kept her senses awake. Taking a few deep breaths of the oxygen-filled air that made her blood pound with amazing strenght, she looked up to the sky and was awed.
Billions of stars filled it, more than she had ever seen, even in the small village she had grown up in and where no light pollution hid the firmament. It reminded her more of some Cosmos TV show. But not only that, those stars were disposed in strange ways. Anne wasn't an astronomer, by far, but she did know a little bit about the night sky, and yet looking up she didn't recognize a single star, a single constellation.
It was in this wondering contemplation that she noticed it: a second moon, rising not from the East as the silver crescent she'd seen before, but from the South. This moon also seemed a crescent - even though she suddenly wasn't sure their stages were the same as those on Earth - but it glowed in pure gold, rather than milky silver.
The understanding dawned on the girl with a shiver. She had assumed they were in some kind of parallel world, a world that was Earth only in a strange dimension. But if that was it, the outside, the universe surrounding the planet, would be the same...and it wasn't. Where were them, then? In another planet? Or in another universe altogether? Or maybe in a parallel dimension, where the universe had developed differently?...The questions were nagging; Anne was, after all, a scientist, curious about the secrets of the Universe, and it was disturbing not to have any answers at all.

Timmy smiled at Kiyoko, and heard a gasp come from Anne. He looked where she was looking and the smile froze on his face. It slowly melted into a look of awe mirroring the fire-girl. A second moon. Woah. Tim had been wanting to be an aerospace engineer for a while now, specifically to combine his love of space with his love of physics. His mind screamed at him that this was wrong. How could a planet the size of Earth have two moons that size? They would play havoc with the gravity. Well who said this planet was like Earth? You can do things that are impossible there, so maybe the gravity is different. It was right then that Timmy truly realized how far away from home they were. Until now it had an almost dream-like quality to him, and it all came smashing into him. Where the hell were they? How did they get here? The possibilities of other universes and parallel worlds had always fascinated him, especially once he started to study Stephen Hawkings theories about Einstein-Rosen bridges. Combining it with other theories and some thought experiments of his own, the possibilities were mind blowing. But they hadn't gone through any wormholes. He'd literally stumbled onto this world. But that's impossible... No no no no. Not impossible. Improbable. Anything can happen if you just give it time. He shuddered. "Hey... guys?" His voice sounded small to him. "How are we going to get home?"
(( I do want to be an aerospace-engineer biggrin ))

Kiyoko noticed the two companions staring up in awe, at something. Confused, she immediately followed their gazes, and gasped as well. Two moons?! That was impossible; Beautiful beyond all means, but at the same time impossible. Unless....Yep, they definiately weren't on Earth anymore, or mabye in the same universe, for that matter. In that case, that left a huge question: where the heck were they?!
She felt very much like Dorothy, from the Wizard of Oz. But there were too many similarties between the stories (so far, anyways); one moment you're in your normal life, then you have some sort of accident that on normal circumstances would either seriously injure you or kill you, then you wake up to find yourself in an unrealistic world, full of strange creatures and abilities. Then you become friends with them, and start on a magical journey in a rainbow-colored-and-shiny wonderland. However, this seemed so far to be the uncensored version, as far as violence goes. But then, does that mean there's a clear bad guy they have to get rid of?
She mentally slapped herself, brining herself back to reality. I really need to get a grip on things, she thought to herself. I always seem to blow things out of porportion.
She turned to Timmy as she heard his question. She shrugged. "Not sure; perhaps we'll get more answers once we get to town." she said.

((Hi there! Good to hear from you! The group has camped near the river, and we're a few miles away from the fight zone. Night has fallen, we have food (fruits mostly) and fire. Anne and Josh are keeping watch, but some people are still awake. A lot of people have been inactive, but seeing as it's holidays season I'm givin everyone some time. I'd advise you to make a catch-up post; we've been treating the characters who don't post as phantoms, meaning we assume they're there, only quiet. So you can just say your charrie made the journey silently, or a few steps away from the others, or whatever you'd like, and is sitting with the others by the fire. Or he fell asleep, or he went to find some food for himself. Your choice, really. ^_^))
