*My face lights up bright red, but I keep my grin.* "Dunno, but we should probably split before the cops show. Owner of the store likes to phone the fuzz whenever there's a fight. I'm surprised they're not already here. Come on, I don't wanna have to do a repeat of last week. Took me an hour to shake 'em. Ended up plowing through the library down town even!" *I grab Amaya's hand and dash to the car we stole.*

Jean flops down on the bed. "Have fun. Just holler if you need me." Jean gets bored after a minute and notices a bunch of records in the corner. He hops up and checks them out. Beatles...Beatles......More Beatles.... My God, how many does Sigrid have? Ah ha! Steve Winwood! Lets do Arch of a Diver.... Jean-Claude throws the record on and jumps back to the bed, enjoying the music.
(I don't think Steve Winwood was around yet during........ Outsiders is in the 60s right? Or maybe he was just starting but who cares!)

Chi started heading for her house.
It better be unlocked! It's not like I can just leave my stuff behind...
Chi walked up the front steps and turned the doorknob.
"Yes!"
She got in, but once she took her first step she heard some papers rustle. Chi looked down and took the papers, she read out loud.
"Dear Miss. Chi, I, your neighbor would like to inform you about your parents Wake which would be tomorrow at six thirty. I was hoping the police would tell you but I bet they would take you away as well. Good wishes, a neighbor.."
Chi sighed irritably and sat down on the floor. She looked at the date it was sent. It was yesterday, which ment the wake was today. Chi rushed around the house to find some clothes.
"It's six...if I run I'll make it!"
Chi wore new black clothes and ran out, she ran passed Greaser territory but she didn't care.

Amaya ran with him back to the car and hopped in the passenger seat, grinning.

*I leap into the driver's seat, start the engine, and floor it the hell out of there nearly plowing over a couple people standing in the middle of the parking lot.*

When Chi arrived to the wake on time, she only thought about seeing her parents and leaving ASAP. But that wasn't going to happen. First thing she got into the building, everyone hugged her and said how this was all horrible and sorry for your loss. Chi didn't plan on doing this but she hugged back all the emotions got to her and she started crying as her relatives and friends of her parents. Seeing her parents just made her emotions feel worse she tried not to cry again but she couldn't and sobbed. When everything was over she walked out of the building thinking.
My ice didn't appear? Something seems odd.
She she walked, the Father stopped her and told her how he felt bad. Chi thanked him and continued walking. Soon to cry.

Chi sat on a bench. She didn't know where she was, the horrible headache she got advoided her from thinking. It was either she was on greaser territory or socs. She just sat and stared at the ground, she had no idea what to do now.

Jean-Claude wanders aimlessly thinking about a number of things, but his mind keeps going back to Chi. Eventually he finds himself at the entrance of a church where a funeral just got finished. 'Well best pray for forgiveness and whatever.....' As Jean enters he sees a girl sitting on one of the benches near the middle rows. 'Is it her?....... Wouldn't hurt to check.......' He walks along until he reaches the row where the girl is sitting. He was right; it's Chi. Jean sits down next to her and puts and hand lightly on her shoulder. "Hey...."

Chi felt a hand touch her shoulder, she jumped a bit but calmed herself when she saw it was Jean-Claude. She tried not to show the pain she had before but now seeing him in a place like this, tears formed in her eyes. Chi quickly looked back down hiding her face,
"H-Hi there..."
Chis voice was quiet. She didn't want to show any emotion of sadness in front of him. But she was horrible at doing that.

Jean give a sympathedic smile. "You know you're really bad at hiding emotion. It's all right to just let it out Chi. It's good for you." He slips his arm around Chi's shoulders.

After hearing his voice, tears fell off of Chis face, she used her hands to cover her face and started crying. She didn't want to cry in front of him but she couldn't stop she just continued sobbing.

Jean simple watches Chi cry......and starts to feel a little chocked up himself. He whispers in her ear; "It's OK Chi, everything is gonna be OK......"

"A little place I got set away on the North side of town." *I keep driving at break neck for about 6 blocks, skidding on the turns. Finally I slow down and cruise.* "Whew. That was a lot easier than last time."
