Yuki offered a nod to Neko as he said he'd be back, giving Riyo a gentle pat on the shoulder. "He's got a knack for this sorta thing." He said, silently hoping that she could understand.
"I'm sure they'll be able to help." Hitsu stated to Mitsu, kneeling down to sit on the ground as they waited. She wasn't about to address her hunger while others had to wait.
When Neko had returned, Yuki had watched him mix the plants quietly. Once they'd been mixed, and said medicine was offered, Yuki reached out to take it in his free hand. Without much forethought, he moved the paste-like concoction close to her face, assuming she'd know what to do without instruction.

Riyo twitched slightly at the sudden touch on her shoulder. She was gonna have to get used to this 'comfort' thing. Because every time she felt something, her automatic response was to jump away from the threat. She soon settled at the familiar scent, though.
"M'nyu..." She mumbled as Neko walked up to her and whiped the blood from her mouth. She smiled a little and watched him disappear, then listened to Yuki speak. Honestly, she had no clue to what they were doing. But she wasn't about to complain. During the time he was gone, Riyo simply stared out into the woods as if she was spaced out. It kept her mind off the pain and the fact that her mouth was full of blood.
Riyo watched silently as Neko returned and started mixing up something. Curiously, she kept her eyes on what he was doing. Strange. She had never watched anyone do that before. Or had she? God, everything was so confusing... Not that she didn't enjoy the fact that she wasn't alone anymore... But these people were bringing up the ideas of memories long forgotten. And it made her head hurt a little.
Riyo blinked and snapped out of her thoughts as Neko approached and handed Yuki whatever he had been making. What... On earth was that stuff? She tilted her head and sniffed it as Yuki held it up to her face, her ears instantly going back and her tongue sticking out of her mouth a little. He was expecting her to drink... Or eat, whatever you might've considered it... That?! "Nyuuuuuuuuuu...." She whined and looked up at him, taking a few minor steps back.

“It’s not so bad,” Neko stated taking a small sample of the concoction on his own finger and putting it on his tongue to show her. He swallowed it without too much difficulty. It wasn’t horrible, just an odd mix of flavors though it didn’t taste like much. Waiting a few moments to see if she would take the medicine on her own, Neko turned to Yuki. “If she won’t take it on her own maybe we can mix it with her meat. She won’t be able to taste it then.”
Mitsu nodded to Hitsu as she crawled her way over to her and sat down while she waited for the men to fix Riyo up. Curiously she watched what Neko was doing, unsure what his plan was for the planty gooey mess. “What’s he doing?” She asked Hitsu pointing at the crushed up plants on the leaf.

Well, that hadn't worked out as easily as Yuki had hoped it would. He frowned a bit when she refused, "Come on, you'll feel better after you eat it." As Neko sampled the medicine in front of her, Yuki couldn't help but grimace a little. He was never keen on taking the stuff, either. Not unless he was desperate. The thought of what it might taste like made him want to shudder. To the suggestion of mixing it with food, Yuki nodded, though waited a moment to see if she followed Neko's suggestion.
"Neko has learned about the plants in the forest that can be used for all sorts of medicines." Hitsu explained to Mitsu, "I'm sure it'll be very useful, once she can get past the funny flavor."

Riyo blinked as Neko stuck his finger in it and basically took it without much thought. Her ears twitched slightly as he swallowed. She looked back down at the stuff and gave a soft whine.
'Take it. NOW.'
The voice in her head commanded. Riyo's ears immediately perked up, and her eyes widened. She wasn't about to disobey the voice if it sounded that angry. Without an ounce of the hesitation she had before, she took the medicine from Yuki and lapped it up as if it was the one thing that would keep her from dying. Oh GOD it wasn't pleasant. When she finished, she stuck her tongue out and took a large breath.
'That's a good girl.'
The voice said pleasingly in response to her quick actions. Honestly, she wanted to vomit it back up... But that probably wouldn't make the voice happy.

(( Sorry for the late reply everyone XD;; I'll try and make this one interesting, again sorry for being so late XD;; ))
Gunnar grunted as he realized that they were trying to get rid of him as they started diving through the small thorny hole. Well, there wasn't much he could do about it, disatisfied but not deteared Gunnar scowled at the hole before turning his gaze towards the night sky. It wasn't late but still late enough where he needed to find some shelter for the night. He knew there was no way he was getting into the hovel so he turned about and strode off to try and find cover.
Not too far away from where the others found cover Gunnar came across the base of a cliff, he followed along the base looking for a small cave or something of the sort. Bingo, carved into the side of the cliff from thousands of years of water eroding the rock from the inside out, Gunnar found his cave. It was dark inside and probably not the best of ideas to just hunker down within before checking to see if it was already occupied.
Scooping up a handful of stones Gunnar heaved them into the cave waiting for them to hit something or the resulting echoes to flush anything out that was inside. Luckilly the only things that came out were a couple of frightened bats.
Satisfied with that he headed within, not far enough to loose sight of the entrance but far enough so that anyone passing by would actually have to go inside the cave and look to find him.
"Slept in worse I suppose." He mused to himself laying down against one of the cave walls as he awaited sleep. Now, it was time to reflect. One of his very few friend had just been killed, he was still angry but now also in mourning. Queback had probably been his best friend, having met him not to long after he had gotten out of that damn hell hole of a farm he ran into him in the woods and having been the first time out in the open he tended to stick around him. His demeanor wasn't as well masked back then and while still gruff and angry a lot of times he slipped and his better intentions shone through. Gunnar tended to view Queback as a sort of, older brother figure for a lack of better words, and now he was dead.
He still harbored resentment towards the cat but at the moment could not do too much about it, whether Gunnar conciously faced it or not the feline did have a couple points although the way he went about telling them only managed to make Gunnar push reason further out of the way and just let his rage take over and wail on him. Either way Queback was dead and now Gunnar would have to learn to deal with it. He started to think where he might head next, he had moved around with Queback but just tended to go where Queback decided, he didn't have any ambition to see the world as Queback had.
Gunnar sighed pushing these things out of mind so he could finally get some rest. He slept a little lighter than he normally did and he tossed around where as he would normally move about as much as a rock through the night.
The next morning Gunnar woke up startled a little at first not remembering where he was before his memory kicked into gear. He laid there for a while staring at the entrance going back to wondering where he was headed.

A little confused by the sudden enthusiasm for the medicine, Neko shrugged it off. “Well, I guess we won’t have to worry about it now.” Smiling he reached out a hand to pat Riyo on the head. “Good girl.” Now maybe they could sit down and eat in peace without something else going wrong. Neko was going to take in the quiet as long as he could because he had a feeling something was bound to go wrong soon.
Mirroring Riyo’s facial expression after she had taken the medicine Mitsu turned to Hitsu. “Neko must make icky medicine.” Mitsu was accustom to medications and drugs but often had little choice in taking them but they never tasted like much. More often they only burned the throat and mouth but she was used to receiving most of her medications by injections.
Over hearing Mitsu’s comment Neko decided to comment. “Its medicine. Its not meant to taste good. As long as it helps that’s all that matters.”

[Hitsu: With what? D8 We have no bread!]
"That takes care of that, then." Yuki said, blinking in his own confusion. He removed his hand from Riyo's shoulder and stepped back toward the other girls.
Hitsu gave a nod to Neko's statement, though gave Mitsu a wince that none of the others would see with her back to them. "I've told him to work on making them taste better, but he doesn't listen." She whispered, before looking up to Yuki as he approached.
"We should get moving soon, eat quickly." He instructed as he settled down next to his sister, giving her a serious glance.
"Where are we going?" She asked, frowning.
"Somewhere other than here. That guy wanted Mitsu." He said, his glance shifting to the wolf girl. "I'm sure he'll keep looking, and we'd be idiots to go back to the village. We have to give it a few days, let things blow over. Maybe he'll lose our scent, and hopefully give up." The reason for his interest in Mitsu didn't seem important, all Yuki cared about was keeping them safe. Of course, he was unconscious for the bit of unnerving information Neko was given.

'Go on now, play with your little friends.'
The voice said to her in an almost sweet manner. She blinked, then smiled and walked over to Mitsu. "M'nyu!" She said and sat down next to her happily. Her gaze then turned to the others. Moving? Going? Those words sounded displeasing to her ears.
'They're leaving you.'
The voice commented. Riyo's ears went back in total and utter disappointment. She.. Didn't think they'd stay... But didn't know that they would leave this soon. Her eyes moved and focused on the ground. She had sadness written all over her face.

At Yuki’s statement that Yuval was after her, Mitsu went wide eyed for a moment but quickly tried to hide it as Riyo approached. She smiled to her and ‘nyued’ back but new thoughts started to plague her mind now. She was the reason the others were running and now in danger. She knew she needed to move on, she needed to find Ko, but if the others were with her wouldn’t that continue to put them in danger? Unsure Mitsu glanced around at everyone as they began to eat. What would become of them all if she stayed in their company?
Turning back to Riyo she looked at her solemn face and wanted nothing more than to tell her to come with them, but now she didn’t know if she wanted to endanger one more person. The uncertainty began to creep through to her features, slowly showing worry on her face. Maybe it would be best if she left now, before everyone got into more trouble because of her.
Absentmindedly playing with the tag on her ear she began to think over her options, ignoring the fact that she needed to eat. Right now there were more pressing matters on her mind than food. She needed to make a plan.
As the meal went on, Neko cast glances at Mitsu as she continued to not eat. It was as if she was lost in a world of thought. Grimacing as he took a bite of food, he too tried to make a plan. He still had questions that were unanswered and it was more than obvious that Hitsu wasn’t going to like his method of questioning. Once the meal had ended and the area cleaned of the remains preserved for future use, hidden or otherwise. Neko looked to Yuki with a questioning look. “So…where are we headed?”

"There's a city built alongside the river, isn't there?" Yuki asked, looking to Neko. "I've heard some of the older villagers talking about it before." He'd never dared moving far from their village, no more than a few miles. "It's not a human city, or one dedicated to any single tribe, so we should be safe there. Right?" All the while, he watched Neko for any reaction. Silently hoping that perhaps he knew of the city that the other villagers referred to, or perhaps had been there himself.
Yuki didn't quite expect Hitsu to speak up, "It's a day's travel from our village, at least." Once Yuki turned his attention to her, she added a quick explanation. "I remember Joyce and Mable talking about going there to buy their materials for the dresses they made..." She trailed off, finally figuring she'd given more than enough information on the subject.

Riyo didn't eat much... At all. She was semi-depressed that her new acquaintances were leaving. After everyone ate, she sorta scooted off away from the group and curled up on the ground, her tail wrapped around herself.
It's like dangling candy in front of a child, honestly. Granting someone a taste of something entirely beautiful... Then taking it away without a second thought.
Why?
She spoke to herself in her mind. A sigh escaped her mouth as she continued staring at the ground. She'd do anything for companionship. Even chew off one of her own limbs. But something in her mind said it would be a bad idea. Why would it? What was so bad about wanting it? It was like she was at war with herself. Half of her desperately wanted it... And the other half was afraid.

Neko nodded, he kind of knew what Yuki was talking about but hadn’t visited the village in some time. He knew the general direction but didn’t know how long it would take to get there. When Hitsu spoke up that part of the mystery was quickly solved. Well, their destination had been easily decided but there were still troubling thoughts on Neko’s mind. At some point, he was going to need answers from Mitsu.
Standing to her feet, Mitsu seemed to hesitate between edging closer to the group or backing away. She really didn’t want to be alone now that she knew someone was after her but at the same time didn’t want to put anyone else in danger. Looking at each of her new friends in turn she tried to weigh her options. Leave or stay? Leave or stay? Her mind couldn’t settle on an answer as the group started to move.
Looking back Neko saw that neither Riyo nor Mitsu had moved from their spots. “Well…” He trailed off looking at them both. “Are you two coming?” It didn’t seem right to leave Riyo where she was, abandoned in the woods. Though it was more than obvious she could fend for herself. That hunting skill would probably come in handy for later on. Gesturing with his head for them to follow he lead the way through the forest.

Riyo's ears immediately perked up at the sound of an invitation. She quickly looked up at Neko, her eyes sparkling like a child about to be taken to the park. "NYUUU!~" She shouted, ran back into her little home for a moment, Then came back out with a piece of cloth attached to a stick (you know, like the ones hobo's have!).
She packed the only things she really had. A hand-made knife.. And her stuffed cat. She didn't mind leaving this place. It was never that cozy.. Only really served as a shelter.
But oh! She was so excited! She was going to leave this place and travel with real people!! What would she see? What kind of adventures would she have? Who would she meet?! It didn't matter! What mattered is... She wouldn't be alone anymore.
'But how long will that last?'

Both Hitsu and Yuki had risen with Neko, Yuki knowing enough on his own that they didn't need to linger, and Hitsu refusing to take a risk of getting separated in the forest. Last night had been scary enough!
The two smiled to Riyo as she retrieved what seemed her few belongings. At least, despite the chaos of the night before, it looked like they'd come out of this with a new friend. "Lead the way, then." Yuki said, addressing Neko. It seemed an unnecessary request, as he had decided to do just that. The siblings followed obediently, in silence when possible, Yuki prone to staring out into the trees on either side for any sign of movement.
