Shiro nodded and smiled, taking another sip of tea as he did so. The kitten was about done its milk, so he took teh liberty of pouring some more.
"Well that makes sense....how old are you, by the way?"

"16..." She said quietly before taking another sip...
"Do you enjoy interrogating me or something?" She asked with a grin up in his direction, then she took another sip. Hyou mewed happily as he was poured more milk.

Shiro smiled. It wasn't every day that a ninja of the same age enrolled, especially one that looked as good as she did.
"Heh...I'm 16 as well....."
Shiro flashed her a warm smile and took another sip.
"So what exactly are you here for?"

She smiled softly and rolled her eyes skyward.
"Training of course. Isn't that why ninja enroll in Academies?"

"To graduate and hunt down the person who attacked my Village..." Her tone had gone completely sinister as she spoke, the thought of revenge on this murderer seeming quite strong within her mind.

Shiro smiled a bit, but not too much. Her goal was quite similar to his. Fun stuff.
"Wow......I've kinda got the same goal in mind....."
Shiro finished off his tea and placed the cup on the tray.
"Well, you're welcome to spend the night here, although you should be issued a dorm room at the main dojo soon enough."

Keioko nodded slightly and finished her tea, Hyou finishing his milk around the same time.
"Thank you... but..." She stood up and set her tea cup aside, then gestured for Hyou to return to her shoulder, which he obediently did with a small mew.
"Next time you want to interrogate me, you don't have to use drugs..." She grinned slightly and bowed politely before turning and beginning to walk from the room.

Shiro smiled as Kei made her comment.
"Very good, very good. It seems that you've got some skills after all. If you don't mind me asking, how did you find out? Not that you have any choice, may I remind you that the drug is still in you at the moment."

"I know..." She murmured quietly before stopping and turning so her left side faced him.
"Hyou's eyes are very colour sensitive, as are mine. The drug you put into the tea was coloured blue... and discoloured the tea. Try to find a white or colourless drug next time." She inclined her head once more before turning back around.

Shiro smiled to himself. She had picked up on exactly what Shiro had expected. He reached into his yukata and pulled out a small bottle of fine white powder.
"You mean like this?"
Shiro smiled. He had used a coloured version of the powder to test to see if she would pick up on the discolouration of the tea. She did.
"I used a coloured version of the solution to test you. To see if you would pick up on it's presence. You pass."
Shiro walked over to Kei.
"You've proven that you can pick up on mistakes your opponents might lay down. Good, but not too good. It was an easy mistake that I could easily have corrected."
He smiled and ran his fingers through his mid-length hair.
"The effects of the solution should wear off any second now. How good can you hold yourself in combat?"

Keioko rolled her eyes and contnued on, not bothering to stop walking.
"That's none of your buisness right now..."
What an egotistical kid this one was... Kei thought to herself as she placed one foot before the other. He was now wanting to spar? Well... that's what she figured right now... She really wasn't in the mood to do so. Besides, she'd much rather get settled in before doing anything else right now.

As Kei continued to walk away, Shiro remained behind and smiled to himself.
The good-looking ones are always so......troublesome......
Using his speed, he appeared in front of Keioko in a split second.
"Seeing as you're new here, I'd like to make you feel a little more welcome. How about lunch? My treat."

She sighed heavily and looked him directly in the eye. Her eyes had a predatory feel to them, even if they were overflowing with boredom and fatigue from travel.
"Fine...Lunch then..." A small smile alighted on her pinkish lips.
