She lightly blushed as she felt her body move forwards. Here she could feel his soft breath upon her brow, the heat radiating off of him to her, and smell the faint scent of laundry detergent on his red coat. "I...I...was..." Malloren deeply sighed. "Selfish. Yuki is all I have. I can't imagine if he left..." She sharply shook her head, face hot from touching upon such a close subject...with Vash of all people. Not Yuki or Sylve, but the male she had one date with. Made perfect sense.
The one, the only, Erylia. She liked the sound of that. The females red lips curved again in that smile, taking his hand lightly as she spun. Golden hair fanning about her, large sleeves driffing, she stepped back into position. "Quite lucky indeed...You're not a bad lucky dancer." Her fingers intwined behind his neck. "Such a charmer you've become. No small wonder why Trager...misjudged your intentions." She thought carefully about his question, twirling it in her mind. "A tree."

In all truth, Trager didn't, but it was better to let the woman think that. White lies came easily to a master of trickery, and they kept people from becoming furious with him. Plus, well, he liked Erylia more than he wanted to and so didn't want her furious with him either. "Indeed. My charm has been perfected to a T." He winked before rubbing her lower back lightly. He didn't particularly know why, but it just felt right to do at that moment.
"A tree? Ah, so did you move around the tree in sweeping motions while leaves fell all around? You had to dodge the leaves while still spinning beautifully." Criofan was good at making things sound more elaborate and special too, even if the other was just being playful. He grinned.

She looked up at him and slowly smiled, delicately nodding her head. She had learned of such dances like the waltz and the tango through her cultural studies, one of her fun subjects inbetween the boring. But she didn't know if she would be able to exactly. Maybe a crude waltz if she remembered the number of steps to take. One glance behind her though at all the pae behind her dancing though, quelled those fears. Modern slow dancing seemed easy. She nodded again, smile broadening.
For one of the first times in her life, Erylia blushed. A light pink dusting on her face as the male actully rubbed her lower back. Certainly no one had ever done THAT to her before! His carefree speech afterwards though calmed her sudden rush of blood. She wouldn't be bested by her king, she made others try to keep up, not the other way around! Even...if he was...surprisingly...cute...and charming...She really had to stop thinking in this direction. "Yeah...Got a few lashings when I wasn't fast enough." She moved up onto her tip toes, cheek brushing against his as her lips tilted up towards his ear, voice just a whisper. "I could show you...but it'll cost you."

(Just to warn, I'm gonna be a little slow with my responses. Sorry Spooky!)
He had been right. The young man he still dreamed about from time to time. He was older. He was taller...and he was prettier. He loved Haru. He wasn't sure how, but he knew that he did. Would he acknowledge him further or would he keep dancing? He wanted so badly for Haru to leave that other man. Rather than interrupting their dance, he anxiously waited for a moment of the adult's time. The dress he wore was so beautiful. Hyacinthus' heart fluttered in his breast when Haru had waved. He wrung his hands, feeling his face heat up. "Please come see me," he whispered, hoping by some stroke of luck that Haru got the message.

He was good. He was real good. He loved to see Erylia blush because that meant he was doing something correct. Maybe she was thinking the same thoughts he did? Perhaps they were both hormonal, or maybe there was something beneath the surface in both of their minds. ...He needed to stop these teenage ramblings! He was about to respond when suddenly her breath was on his ear. He shuddered in delight while attempting not to blush. Something felt good about her breath on his ear. "What'll it cost me, Erylia?" If the cost was one kiss, he would seal the deal immediately. Criofan was liking this too much to resist now...

Azure smiled as he pulled out of the hug and moved his hands fluidly down to hers, lacing their fingers together like they so often did. Azure slowly pulled her towards the dance floor, walking backwards as he did so. When they arrived at the dance floor it was then Azure wasn't sure what to do. He looked to his sides at the other males and how they danced. He lowered his hands to Dyas waist and then started to do a simple slow dance with her.

Swaying against his body, she smiled, fully feeling his shudder and delighting in it. "I don't know..." One hand broke away from the other to light upon the center of the back of his neck, just touching the beginning of his hairline. He had soft hair. Really nice hair, shinning like the rest of him... "A kiss...a date...your soul...eternal adoration...Make me an offer I can't refuse."
She lightly blushed as he laced their fingers, her smiling softening as she looked up at him. Dyas walked forwards, letting herself be led to the dance floor. Once there, she did one more quick glance around before wrapping her arms around Azure's neck. But it didn't stop her from blushing even deeper as his hands lowered onto her waist. Well. This was different already. Another quick glance around. She moved a bit closer to Azure, almost like she was about to completely embrace the male. One more glance, and she swayed with the male, dual colored eyes raising up to his blue

Azure took a deep breath. There, they were dancing. Him and Dyas, Dyas and him. No one else to worry about, except... Azure was also glancing around the dance floor, it was hard to enjoy being so close to Dyas with the idea that Raken was lurking around the party. Its just a friendly dance, Azure kept telling himself, even though it meant so much more to him. But friends were allowed to dance right? Although he wasn't sure if friends danced this close together. Azure's eyes finally dropped to Dyas, and he began to enjoy being so close with her.

First, Criofan had control. Now Erylia seemed to have control of him, and he didn't mind it at all. If she kept doing that, well, Criofan's hormones might just take over. "Well, I won't give you my heart without yours in return." He pressed a hand to her heart while keeping the other one around her waist. Then, he winked, slipping the hand back around her waist and rubbing her back once again. Criofan was liking this a bit too much. Maybe this wasn't all hormones, since Erylia seemed inclined towards these thoughts too, but at the same time, maybe it was and he needed to stop potentially ruining his relationship with his best friend. But it felt so good to do this!.

She tried not to think about Raken. Not her father, or her cousin, or anyone besides just the two of them. She was just working up to a stomach ulcer with all of this. And her moments with Azure were too few to waste with 'what ifs'. At last catching his eyes, she smiled. There wasn't a place on the entire island she would rather be
She softly laughed, pulling her head back to give a small secretive smile. "My heart? What'll you offer for that?" This was an interesting dance they were preforming. Not the slow dance, no, all but her feet had forgotten that. Feeling his hand rubbing her back once more, she shuddered involuntarily. What was she doing? Part of her was going her normal 'do what you want, think about consequences later'. While another, a very small, small bit of logic was tentively tapping her shoulder in the 'just because you really want to, doesnt mean its smart' way. But it seemed like...could criofan possibly also be...Pondering this phenomenon between them? Nah. Surely he saw her no different on this plane then he had with trager. Innocent flirtation.

Azure kept his eyes on Dyas, letting his feet instinctively lead the way in their little square of dance floor. He had expected to go to the party and hang out with some other pae, have a fun time socializing. He never expected for everything that had happened so far this night to happen, especially having a dance with Dyas. That was Azure's favorite moment, alone with Dyas, for the most part. "Everythings going to be okay now..." He whispered in her ear.

Moving with the male, her smile increased slightly. And as he moved down to whisper in her ear, she gently pressed her cheek against his. Her eyes closed, exhaling softly. She knew their fight wasn't done yet. Her father still stood in the way of them. But with Azure...right then...she honestly did feel that maybe, just maybe, things would work out. Her arms tightened briefly around him, relaxing at last to simply sway with the blue angelic.

Perhaps all Criofan was doing was innocent flirtation. From what Erylia had seen, it seemed like Criofan was just a flirt. And, in a way, he was. He would always be inclined to lure people in just to chuckle and say that it was all an accident, or perhaps to get something that he personally wanted. Trickery ran through his veins the way blood flowed in others. However, there was something about Erylia that made him keep playing this ridiculous game. ...Well, another reason why he kept playing it was because the game was rather enjoyable to a man as devious as he was, but still. Perhaps it was all hormones playing tricks with his usually clear mind, and Criofan would like to believe it was.
That, though, didn't mean that he couldn't enjoy the ride. And if it wasn't hormones acting up, well, maybe he'd get something good. "I'll give you mine. A fair exchange, I think, aye? One person's heart in exchange for the other's. It would be an even trade, and neither of us would miss out on the benefits that come from such. Mm?" He allowed one hand to trail up her arm to underneath her chin with a small smirk on his face. "I think it's fairly even."

Azure smiled, loving the feel of Dyas' warm cheek again his own. He loved how they fit so perfectly together, how easy it was to be with her, and how talking didn't matter for them. Azure's breath welled up in his chest as he gently kissed her on the cheek. He took one hand off of her so he could twirl her around, laughing happily as he did so. He didn't want to be anywhere else in the world right then.

"I still don't know." The females head tilted up slightly as his hand stroked up her throat, closing her eyes. So...so very close. The females smile turned into a grin as her violet eyes opened again. She took the hand on his neck away, reaching up to take the one under her chin and interlace their fingers. The female brought the joined hands down to their sides, ever the one to tease. "Seems too easy. There has to be a catch."
The smile picked back up as she felt the light pressure against her cheek, blushing all over again. Taking his hand, she stepped back to twirl with a grin, the bottom of her skirt flowing out around her. She spun back to him, playfully nudging him with her shoulder.
