I remember reading online, that the Windows Aero theme creates a BMP for every window on the screen, and it happens every second, because the translucence is actually a solid picture, and BMP images are one of the largest graphics file types. Wow. Thanks~ that's a reason that's more definite and tangible to turn off than the other ones I've read up. It's also important for me because this is one a laptop. ^^;

True, since Vista Aero also drains battery's.
I can't find the article that I read awhile back, but it covered the fact that Aero uses BMP files.
Honestly, they could have just used PNG or JPG files for that, and it wouldn't be half as big.

Anyway, thank you for telling me these facts, Palsa! =D
I hope that I can find more (efficient) ways to speed up Vista on my laptop soon~ I'm still dissatisfied with some of the speed and stuff (and how it treats the MMORPGs that I play). =|

Part of that is the laptop.
Vista is pretty good when its on a desktop PC, and has the proper drivers and cards.
I just added 7 new ID cards. ^_^

Even though laptops has improved, it's still not up there when it comes to heavy applications. =

Arigato! ^_^ Here are a couple costume edits I just finished. Rewrich Wallach - Dark Zero Edit:  I didn't put a lot of time into this one. Original: Shurelia - Judith Volltone Costume: To be honest, and don't get me wrong, because Lita is one of my favorite Atelier series characters, I've always felt that it would have been better if Shurelia had a Judie costume instead, or at the very least along with the Lita costume. Since Aurica had a Marlone costume and Misha had a Elfir costume, I think it would have worked better to continue with the older games theme, and plus, Judie had silver hair, Lita didn't. Anyway, enough with my opinion and on to what I've been rambling about. I only put a couple hours into it, so I hope it looks good.

I'm trying to write 5 different series, including Ren'py visual novels. http://www.freewebs.com/palsa-san/writings.htm I'm working on a CG artwork of an original Reyvateil I thought of. And I'm also working on several other projects. As for costume edits, I just randomly make them on occasion.

Nice! How exciting! Visual novels. =D
I don't know if I have the patience or not to develop one. n__n;
I'm working on several stories as well. =D
Most are either concept or summary based at the moment, but it helps me flesh out the story and then make illustrations for it.

Sounds cool, I'd love to read some of those. ^_^
My biggest issues with my series's are:
1. Gathering up enough initiative to write/draw,
2. Staying focused. . . YouTube, Anime Season, Fansub TV Network and OneManga will be the death of me. -_-
3. My drawing skills are rather poor, I get lucky on rare occasions.

The current story I'm working on is called Time_Less (I would want a more decent title now.. but I can't seem to think of one so the saving grace is up to subtitles LOL), with two stories that eventually conjoins in the end and a "sequel," but it's pretty much the answer arc and resolution for that, I guess. I have a fictional Kingdom Hearts story too. ^^; The story is superbly simplistic and flat, but I liked that there's something minor in the background of the real story and yet barely crosses. XD The title barely has anything to do with the story though. I'm leaving that up to the possible 2nd arc to fill that gap. n__n;; I also (originally) had a webcomic called "Forthis," but I put it on hiatus and never went back since. I'm planning to redo the whole thing and make it much more compelling as I created it on the spot. This "story" is the closest into getting me to make real profile images strangely... even if my other two stories has a history to back up its significance. =| Haha, I like to watch anime (certain titles.. I like compelling stories, characters that are likable/tolerable enough, and don't heavily rely on filler gaps most of the time) and read manga (preferably short titles, but I've been following a few long ongoing ones)~ I miss drawing so much. ;__; School's sucked my formerly extensive "leisure" time ORZ.
