Mr. Gregorovich considered her question for a moment before turning to the rest of the class, the flame disappearing as his gloved fingertips drummed on the desk. He then spoke out.

"An excellent question, Miss Tsuki. With each and every lesson we do, you will be required to use your element. However, we will begin with concept. You can't use your element safely in a classroom full of people until you fully understand the forces acting on it, which requires knowing concept. If there are any accidents in the classroom, I will take ten points off of whatever assignment we are doing, since an accident proves either a lack of understanding, which needs to be addressed, or misbehavior, which needs to be punished in any way possible. There will be NO fooling around in my class. Understand?"

H
e paused to let his words sink in before speaking again.

"Good."

Ayla found herself sitting relatively close to Tsuki. The same question had popped into her head, but she hadn't got the nerve to put her hand up.

She listened to Mr Gregorovich intently, occasionally taking the odd note. She could also hear the odd person behind, saying things like freak and oddball. She ignored them, until a small, folded piece of paper was handed around. She opened it, saw what it said then firmly put her hand in the air. "Mr Gregorovich? I think you may want to see this," she said aloud, knowing that whoever had written it would be cursing her.

Tsuki nodded as he spoke, confirming that she was listening. A small "yes" escaped from her mouth when he was done. Most of the students had stopped their whispering, but there were still a few that were committed to their trouble making. She saw a girl, holding a note, raise her hand and speak to the teacher.

She let out a gasp once she had figured out what was going on. Tsuki admired her bravery, knowing that she herself could never do something like that.

Hearing an angered whisper of "b***h" behind her, Tsuki felt not enraged, but empowered. She decided, from then on, to try and be a stronger person.

"Hey you," she said, turning around in her seat to face the girl who insulted her new friend.

"Shut up and leave her alone, or else,"
she threatened, forming a small and round water bullet. It swirled around in itself; only her determination and the adrenaline pumping in her system kept it from falling apart completely. It was a complete bluff, but she hoped the other person wouldn't figure that out.

Mr. Gregorovich watched as his classroom started to get out of control, sighing as he continued speaking. Then, he saw Miss Ayla holding up a note, hearing another student call her a name, then seeing Miss Tsuki threaten the insulter to shut up with a water elemental bullet. He watched for two seconds before he walked over to that aisle, unnoticed, then calmly reaching his hand out. A wall of flame suddenly shot out of his hand, forming between Tsuki and the other student. Waves of heat radiated from the flaming wall, which separated the entire room. Mr. Gregorovich watched for a few moments, making sure the water bullet had been vaporized into steam by the intense heat, before calmly lowering the wall. However, his hands were shaking slightly, since he was extremely angry.

"We will NOT fight in this class. We will NOT call people names. We will NOT pass notes. We will NOT threaten others. We will BEHAVE or we will LEAVE. Understood? This is an ADVANCED physics class, so I ASSUME that we're all going to be CIVIL in this class. If you can't CONTAIN yourselves, then you shall be, how do they say, s**t on luck? Because if I send you out of my classroom for the class, then you will NOT be getting the material that I gave you in the class. And if you somehow do well on the next test and I KNOW that I sent you out, then you will get a zero for cheating. So, BEHAVE, and we shall all be fine."

H
e then calmly walked back to his desk, standing there again. After a few moments, he spoke calmly.

"Oh, by the way, apologies for any incidental burned materials. If it's books or something important, I'll give you a pass to explain why you need it replaced."

Tsuki was too focused, absorbed into the situation, to notice Mr. Gregorovich come over to their aisle. She flinched back, her eyes widening, at the flame's sight and heat. The water bullet half was let go by Tsuki, half evaporated by the flame. Beads of sweat started to form. She was shaking, terrified by the flame. Being a water element, the flame made her weak, and she began to breathe faster. Once he had let down the flame, her breath became normal in a matter of minutes.

As he shouted, her eyes remained fixed on where the fire used to be. She was still slightly shaking, and now close to crying. Fear and shame consumed her. She had never gotten in trouble before, nor had she come close to such dangerous situations, at least by magical powers. Her father had brought her close enough to death before for her to know the feeling.

He walked to the front of the classroom and began to speak calmly. She eventually turned around, small droplets of liquid forming at the corners of her eyes, and actually mustered up some courage to mumble something.

"I...I-I'm s-sorry..." she said before shutting her eyes and putting her head down, so no one would see the tears falling down her cheeks.

((I changed her picture, by the way.

I had role played her a long time ago, using a certain picture. I can't get that one off my mind whenever I RP with her. So, I found one pretty close to it. The one I have now I THOUGHT would be cool, but it doesn't fit her personality.))

Ayla had watched all this quietly. She knew what Mr Gregorovich was like, since he was now her expert fire teacher. She could see Tsuki was upset, but she couldn´t comfort her as well as she would have liked.

Ayla glanced over at Tsuki, trying to catch her attention. She smiled, and looked back towards the front desk. She could still hear someone mumbling behind her, and knew that once class was over, she would soon sort it out.

Taking the odd note, Ayla looked round at the other students, trying to figure out what element they were. There were a couple of earth students, several air, a few more water, and herself as the only fire student. She shrugged, and continued taking notes.

Unnoticed by Ayla, a small vine had twirled itself around the leg of her chair, and suddenly pulled the chair from underneath her. Ayla´s head hit the desk with a sickening thud and she slowly slid to the floor unconscious.

Mr. Gregorovich watched Tsuki grow upset, knowing that he would not have the proper affect if he tried to comfort her, what with his intimidating figure and whatnot. However, he could send her to someone that could help her. He calmly walked over, placing a pass on her desk, then speaking to her.

"Miss Tsuki, I didn't realize that the steam from your water element burned your hand when I stopped the fight. I apologize profusely! Please, go to the nurse."

H
e then leaned in, whispering so that no one else could hear.

"While you're at it, tell her that I sent you there so that you could calm down and re-focus. You don't have to be seen crying in my class. It's okay. You can come back in tomorrow morning and get what you missed. You don't have to stay and embarrass yourself for my sake. And don't apologize, I would have done the same in your situation."

H
e then walked back to the front, going back into his lecture. However, a few minutes later, one of his students, Miss Ayla, had her chair pulled out from under her, striking her head on the desk. Mr. Gregorovich, coming from a nervous upbringing and living a nervous life, reacted immediately. A small ball of flame flipped from his hand, hitting the edge of the vine as he spoke an unrecognizable word, flames temporarily dripping out of the slits of the mask. the flame ripped up the vine and a kid screamed a moment as the flame burned their hand. He then walked over, the flames gone, a pass in his hand as he slapped it down on the desk of the kid who had used the vine.

"You. Do you know how stupid that move of yours was?!? You could have killed her! Now then, get to the nurse's office, get some ice for your hand, and then you are reporting to the Headmaster. NOW!"

H
e waited for the kid to leave and then walked over, picking up Ayla and then walking over to the door, speaking to the rest of the class.

"Your assignment is on the board. Pages seven through twelve. Then do the problems on page thirteen. I will be back soon, and if I don't see work, I'll be disappointed."

H
e then walked out the door, shutting it behind him and bringing Ayla to the nurse. He saw the student who had caused the problem getting bandages and ice and immediately walking over, putting Ayla down on a cot and speaking to the nurse.

"Minor head injury. The child there used a vine to pull her chair out from under her, and her head struck the desk. I'll be walking him to the office now."

H
e then walked over, waiting for the nurse to get done before firmly grasping the boy's shoulder, walking towards the office with him, depositing him there and explaining the situation, before going back to class with a sigh.

Kieran was outside when his phone rang. As he pulled it out, he noticed Seth was calling him.

"Kieran? You better shift to the Infirmary," Seth said.

"Why? No-one I know is in there," Kieran replied.

"Ayla is," Seth said simply, hanging up.

Kieran went quiet. Putting the phone back into his pocket, he ran into the school towards the Infirmary.

Quietly entering, trying not to disturb everyone (not that there was many people in there), Kieran made his way to where Ayla had been placed. Noticing the now purple looking bruise on her forehead, Kieran gently stroked her hair out of her face and sat there until she came round. The nurse gave Kieran a drink after 2 hours.

After another 3 hours, Ayla moved slightly. "Nurse?" Kieran called out.
"She moved," he said as the nurse arrived.

((Sorry for the wait guys. Finals came, left, and then I really didn't feel like doing ANYTHING. Sorry again.

I'll assume the incident with Ayla's desk happened after Tsuki left.
Also, dahlaine, you need to edit your post. Unless you want to wait for us to catch up, I'd rather not jump ahead.))

It look Tsuki only a moment to understand what Mr. Gregorovich meant. She nodded, wiped away a tear, and held her "injured" hand close to her chest with her other hand.

"Thank you," she whispered. "I'll be back before the end of class."

Arriving at the nurse's office, she gave her explanation. The nurse left her to herself. She regained her composure in a few minutes, wiping away her last tear as a student from her class came into the office, holding a burned hand. Mr. Gregorovich came into the room shortly after, holding Ayla. Tsuki stood up quickly, vacating her seat. She was about to feverishly ask why and how, but Mr. Gregorovich explained it. Tsuki turned to glare at the boy before he left with the teacher.

She wanted to stay with Ayla, but some words from the nurse gave Tsuki enough assurance to go back to class. She thanked the nurse and left, heading back towards the classroom.

Tsuki entered the physics class, seeing a few students look up before returning to their work. She sat down, looked at the board, understood the assignment, and started. Mr. Gregorovich returned some time later.

:::

The Headmaster opened his office door to the Fire and Advanced Physics teacher. He listened to the summary, then wished Mr. Gregorovich a good day, complete with a smile, before he left.

As the door closed, his bright smile turned into a rigid frown while his eyes filled with rage. He invited the boy to sit, which he did reluctantly. No tea was poured.

"I understand you have caused harm to one of my students," he began, not showing any sign of emotion in his speech. The boy paid little attention while his eyes wandered, having hear this speech before.

"I also understand that this is not your first offense," the Headmaster continued, rage slipping past his tongue, decorating the last word. The boy immediately sat up, realizing what was to come.

"I believe I gave you sufficient warning last time you came in here, did I not?" The boy's pupil's constricted, horror set on his face. He didn't move, frozen in terror.

"You come from a very...dark home, correct? I think your family would like if you paid them a visit..." The Headmaster began, knowing what was to come.

"NO! DON'T SEND ME BACK THERE! PLEASE! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE! THEY KEEP ME IN A BLACK ROOM! THEY TELL HE HATEFUL THINGS ALL DAY, HOW TERRIBLE I AM! PLEASE, don't...."
the boy shouted, growing weary at the end.

The Headmaster looked at him, no emotion evident anywhere in him.

"A price must be paid for your actions, I'm afraid,"
he explained, displaying no remorse. He turned around, closed his eyes for a moment, then turned back. The boy had disappeared, and the Headmaster knew exactly where he was. A tear slid down his cheek.
