"Alright, Keevia, to be honest I haven't a clue as to where we are. We could be on an island in the middle of nowhere for all I know." He looked out into the open water, he saw some shapes in the distance, he didn't bother to figure out what they were. "As to how you got here? Your guess is a s good as mine, I just woke up to rocks digging in my back. If this is any dream, I seem to be getting alot of pain in the process." Dunsinare rubbed his back as he said that, there was still small pangs in his back.

He looked at the man's scars and the jewel, he thought about the scars, then he received a sudden flash of someone burning and cut all over. Around him, more bodies shouting in pain and asking in howls and moans, 'Why did you do this!?'. Snapping out he was still looking at Keevia, he looked away to the ocean and apologized, "Sorry, you . . . we should find some food. Who knows how long we will be here." He stood up and headed towards the forest, hoping to find some edible food, and avoid what just happened.

,,I would think it's more likely that we are in someones backyard or that there is a village or a town right behind these trees,'' Keevia said, following Dunsinare. By the way had looked at him he seemed to be slightly disturbed by his scars and Keevia didn't blame him for that ,,But considering what has happened to me in the last few hou-'' falls silent for a moment ,,I mean, in the last few days,'' he fixes himself, after discovering, that he has lost count on time and could hardly even guess, how long ago the dreams had started ,,Well, considering what has happened to me recently I think we, and some big carnivorish animals are the only ones on this island, but maybe we should try to find some higher place first, like a hill or a cliff? I'd like to see, if we are really on an island and if there is any people around, before I start to fight for survival,'' he entered the forest. It was not like the woods in northern parts. The first few steps were the hardest, because the plants on the border of the forest were stretching themselves toward sea and sky, fighting for space and light, but then he was under the forest, trees forming a green roof above his head and erecting from ground like huge pillars. It was rather dim under the trees. Some birds could be heard from above, though you couldn't see them. These birds didn't sing. They more like...screamed and squeeled. Atleast Keevia hoped these are birds. He had never seen such a place, he had never even heard about jungles, so this queer world under trees made him nervous and he would have liked to fight his way back to the beach, but he didn't. He turned around, looking at the other man: ,,By the way, sir, you haven't introduced yourself.''

Dunsinare

"You forgot?" he didn't look back as he spoke, The jungle seemd wild and didn't want guests. "I am Professor Dunsinare, and I highly doubt we are in someone's backyard." Dunsinare laughed at the thought of being in a backyard.

Dunsinare turned around and faced Keevia, his face didn't disturb him this time, allowing him to confront him "You are right though, we should try to find higher ground, who knows what lives in this jungle." He pushed forward, the underbrush grabbing at his feet.

Eventually he saw a tree bearing fruit, some of the fruit was close enought to the ground he could reach them. As he pulled one fruit down ,he noticed the fruit was hard. he grabbed another one and passed it to Keevia. Dunsinare tapped his, he could tell it was partially hollow.

((Sorry XD I forgot that he introduced himself. How embarassing...))

Keevia looked at the fruit with hungry, at the same time suspecting look. He heard a sound from above, being made by creatures, who were climbing on tree branches. As he looked up his face turned pale, as he saw the animals who made these sounds.
There was about five of these animals. They weren't much bigger than a cat or a small dog, with long limbs and tail, covered with thich, brown fur with black markings. In some queer way their eyes, face and whole body reminded Keevia humans, though they were certainly not that. They looked more like some...mini-trolls.
They reminded him something more... Fear disappeared from Keevias face. Well, ofcourse. The creatures were monkeys. It was hard to recognise them, to put together the animal who was happily eating a fruit up on a tree and that inked picture of a stylized animal on slightly yellowish parchment, which was practically the only place he had ever seen a monkey.
Well, if these animals eat these fruits, then he might aswell.
He took a big bite of the fruit. It tasted soar, in fact almost bitter, but still seemed edible. He reached out and picked a few more fruits, storing them into his cloak pockets. The monkeys, who were watching him and Dunsinare, moved closer, chatting with each-other in their own language.
,,They don't seem to be very afraid of humans,'' Keevia said, turned around to leave the tree and was hit by a half-eaten fruit. In the back of his head. He turned around, facing the now excited, cheerful and noisy animals. His expression had changed. With an almost sadistic sparkle in his eyes he asked with surprizingly calm voice: ,,Dunsinare, do you think they taste good?'' nods at the animals.

Dunsinare

Dunsinare took a bite of his fruit, it was very tangy and bitter, but it was edible, he looked at the fruit, it was a bright orange, so he guessed it was ripe. Hearing Keevia, he looked at their guests, "They probably have never seen a human before. They are just curious, just like you have never seen a monkey." Dunsinare saw the inqusitiveness in Keevia's eyes, but when he asked about their flavor, Dunsinare quckly changed tune, "Leave them alone, and besides, they are too skinny. If you want meat, then it would be best to find something a little more. . . filling."

((deFig isn't the only one having a writer's block stare ))
,,They threw me with a fruit. I wouldn't call that curiosity. I dislike these creatures anyway. They look like a robustious cross-over between cats and trolls,'' Keevia grumbled. I wonder, what other peculiar creatures might be hiding in here? Looks around and above himself, nervously ,,I hope you don't mind if I ask, but...if you are a professor, then what's your speciality?''

(uhm hi guys yes......hrm...well.........I'm sorry I've been ignoring everyone for a while. I fully understand if you can't forgive me. Maybe I should do more of the pairing you up stuff. Takes some of the load off me =P. Well anyway, I'll try and improve my behaviour in future.

"Finally!" the doctor was smile reached all the way to her ears. "Someone of equal mind. If I ever wanted an intelligent side-kick he might do well. Well he certainly behaves as one would expect from a demon."

A bookshelf stood next to him, on each side of him in fact. Once Dunsinare lifted his eyes he would see that the shelfs stretched endlessly in both directions. No ceiling was in sight and the feeling of space was crushing with nothing but bookshelfs as far as the eye could see.

If he studied the books more closely he would see that they all had names, perhaps names he recognised. If he happened to open the book of a friend, or indeed any book, he would see that within it was a detailed description of the persons life, every action every step, every detail carefully written down. Depending on how long that life was it might stretch over the course of several books. If he opened a book whose owner had not yet died he would find the book in the process of writing itself as that life was being lived.

Time had taught the good doctor that most people when faced with this situation would, in time, do one very particular thing. Find their own book.

"It can be anything my dear pupil. After all there are those who say that art is making something into art. Why just look at that fellow who took a perfectly good pissoir and turned it into art. Now go! Find the art in this desolate place!"

Dr. Rose shook her head in disbelief. Some of her digital characters were really quite insane.

- Sakaru

The doctor was amused by her patient's attitude. "Perhaps he sympathises more with them than most human humans. So what next? Hmm a change of scenery I think."

TADA TADA DAAAA! Lights, clapping, glitter, voices, music. He was sitting in a rather comfortable chair in what looked like half a room. One half of the room, where he was sitting, was decorated as an average living room. The other half looked out on a big dark void, the bright lights shining in his eyes made it difficult to see, but from the noise level it was apparent that there was a larger audience out there. A man sitting opposite him in, impeccably dressed, with luminescent glow in the dark shiny teeth, smiled brightly and began talking out into the void.

"Good evening and welcome to another episode of Super Humans! Tonight we are honoured by the presence of dear Sakaru-Ookami."

The man turned from the big black void to adress Sakaru.

"Hello and welcome! So could you briefly outline for those in our audience who don't know you what makes you super human."

"Whatever happened tomy little sea-monster?"

The doctor switched her attention to the appropriate screen.

"She still hasn't moved? Well I'm out of patience. Can't sit around waiting for something to happen now can we. The sea has been to calm around her for quite some time. Well what can we cook up for you my dear?"

It was dark. The air smellt of dirt, sweat and oil. Men were shuffling back and forth digging into the earth wall in front and handing it back to be taken out of the small underground tunnel by others. The light was dim. Somebody pressed a shuvle into her hands.

" 'ere! Dig girlie!"

He turned back to the dark earth wall and started hacking out a rock. The tunnel was no more than 2 meters high and 3 meters wide.

"How much you ask? Well until I grow tired of you my dear and you are no longer amusing. Now then......"

An empty park, she was sitting on a bench. It was dark but the sounds of the city life taking place could be heard all around her. There was nothing much to look at. Only an empty beer bottle. There was something curious about the bottle however if one looked closely. The liquid inside was cloudy, misty, and almost swirling. To add to that it was shut tight with a cork, not a bottle-cap.

Dunsinare & Keevia

"Perhaps I should have made the island smaller? Ah well, it'll be a mental note for next time. I'm intrigued to see that neither of them have begun sharing their recent experiences. Perhaps my suspicions of mutiny are exaggerated? In either case I believe it is time to spice things up a little beofore we say goodbye to the tropics!"

"Woooweeeeeeeeeee!"

As one being approximetly 10 short, dark, men clad in animal loin cloths and armed with large machete like knives jumped out of the bushes and surrounded the two men. They stopped to size heir opponents up. Then they started walking close, and closer, one step at a time. Making the circle around the two smaller and smaller.

- Sosuke

"Hm? Oh a new face is stirring. I wonder who you might be my pet. Let's find out, think fast now!"

He was in a tropical jungle, sand and earth underneath his feet. The sound of the sea mixed with the sound of birds, creatures, rustling of leaves and.......footsteps. Around a curve in the path in front of him a man appeared. He was rugged, full of scars, dirty clothes, a great big gold ring in one ear, and a bandana around his head. It was the stereotypical image of a pirate. When he saw Sosuke he stopped and stared. After a few seconds his face turned flushed and he cried,

"I rec'gnise that filthy mug of yer's! Yer that good for noting scoundrel what killed me mate Ervin."

He draws his pistol and fires with his sword raised above his head in the other hand ready to strike.

((OMG! DeFig-nut, I know! I could help to take your place. ;D *sinister smile* What'dya say?))
The atmosphere from what she could gather was very tense. Clanging metals and sulfurous scents lifted from the earth and into her nose. Judging from her working conditions, it would be mind-numbing. She had experience with this before, however. Rather than use the shovel, she would use herself again. Her body sank into what seemed to be a pile of water, then it began consuming the nearby rocks with what seemed to be an acidic solution. "Like this?" Her gurgling voice chimed in, seeking approval.
