((Ooc: I've never joined an RP so late on in it before. So much to read through gonk ))
It wasn't that Anderson was unpopular, or dislikable. He wasn't aggressive or dead anything that would make people feel strongly against him. He just wasn't someone who you tended to notice. What was it that made some people just be the type if people who just made friends so easily and who were so popular? It wasn't looks, Anderson was a good size and build. He could be good at sports, but no one had ever noticed. He was pretty average to look at, long brown hair and big dark brown eyes, but he was deathly pale. Maybe that was it? He thought, maybe that was the problem. But the people who were popular... They seemed to walk into a room and everyone else seemd to sit up a little straightr and pay that much more attention to them. Surely they weren't that different from him, they talked about similar things and acted similar....
"For the last time Anderson. Answer the question!" Anderson looked up at his physics teacher who was staring down angrily at him. He looked up trying to feign a look of apology. "I'm waiting Mr. Matthews. Care tell me what was worth thinking about that you didn't have to pay attention to me?" "Not really." He mumbled to himself. Some of the other students sniggered at him, and he shrunk down further into his seat. "Well it's either me or the principal." "He was thinking about his boyfriend." Someone 'whispered' loudly enough for everyone to hear. He shooted an annoyed look in the persons direction, but his teacher had heard to. "Detention for both of you I think." She said unapprovingly. And a few more people sniggered at him.
Scuffing his feet along the ground Anderson made his way to the library- not to read mind you. To sleep. Last night he'd been too busy finishing off his homework that he hadn't got much sleep, and besides- his best (and only) friend was ill so he didn't have anyone to talk to. He had nothing better to with his time than to sleep. Anyway, for the last few nights he had dreamt about a place that was far better than Earth- In looks. It was a bit dull- he hadn't seen anyone there yet, but it was good to explore. And it wasn't really like other dreams, he could use al five senses there. It was by far a better way to spend lunchtime than putting up with the people in his year. He grabbed a hidden away table and using fell to sleep straight away.
As exspected he had arrived in the same place again. He blinked, his eyes adjusting to the scenery. He was stood at the edge of a plain looking around. It was a reasonable size and a lot of people seemed to be standing near it's middle. Not normal people, he noted with lack of suprise. It was a dream, he couldn't exactly expect them to look normal. One seemed very green, and another had wings, and another seemed to have stepped out of an anime. He had noticed for himself that he wasn't exactly normal here. He ws the same physical structure, but his colours was very odd. His hair was mousy as was his skin which was precisely the same colour. Everything about him was ... unnoticeable. Apart from his eyes, he had jumped the first time he saw them- an unnatural green, bright and sparkling violently.
Chances were he wouldn't be noticed by these people, and he wanted to hear what they were talking about so he moved closer, watching them intently. He had never seen people in this dream before and he wanted to know what these particular figments of his imagination would be like.

Aria shot TK an irritated look. "Flirt later, think now, please." She shook her head. "Honestly, the poor kid just got here-" She broke off, looking around. "Where did-?" She frowned, looking around for the suddenly absent Francis. Finally she turned back to the others and shrugged. "I guess he woke up, after all."

"I'd definitely appreciate the help, and even though I'm not entirely sure what Wardancing is you seem to know what you're doing," he reached behind him and unstrapped the staff from his back, turning it over in his hands. "Does it matter that I don't have a sword?"
He glanced behind the group suddenly, noticing a boy approaching them cautiously. His hair and skin were oddly the same mousy color but his bright green eyes contrasted with his unassuming appearance. Aidan waved to him, "Hello! Would you like to join us?" he called.

Doragon continued sitting still, then noticed another person. "Another new-comer, why do they always appear here?" Doragon sighed.

"Look," Rowan said calmly, "I can see your confusion, but like Francis said," He glanced over his shoulder to find to boy missing. That wasn't bad, he knew what had happened to himself in his world now with his car, focusing back on the group, "What you are here is most likely your inner self. You know everything about yourself, don't you?" Without waiting for an answer, Rowan spoke on, "Therefore, I have no doubt in my mind that when the time comes, you will know what to do."
Willow focused vaguely on the conversation as her eyes darted about, every dark shape made her nervous, every movement put her more on the edge. Someone she didn't recognize appeared in her peripheral eye. Willow raised her head; he looked much like a paler version of Francis. Her focus wandered to where Francis had stood by Rowan, she vaguely wondered what was happening to him in his world.
*~*
"What d'you mean I can't go back to sleep?" Francis asked, glaring up at the doctor who was pressing on his neck as some nurses unraveled the bandages around his head and added gauze to the still bleeding cuts on his cheeks.
"Mr. Murphy," The young woman doctor explained, brushing a strand of her dark blonde hair out of her face, "You were out cold for eighteen hours, you sustained severe lacerations and head trauma with a serious concussion. If I let you fall asleep again, you could lapse into a coma for days, and your parents weren't happy when you were just unconscious. I'd hate to see them if you fell into comatose."
"What if I just rest my eyes for a minute. This has been really stressful, I'd just like a little rest." Francis tried to sound innocent as possible.
"A minute can turn into days in the blink of an eye." One of the nurses contradicted as she folded over the soiled bandages from his forehead. The room was quickly cleared and Francis leaned back in his bed. Not being able to sleep had driven him from the house in the first place.

T.K. bristled when the girl told her to stop flirting, and her hand went to the hilt of her sword before she stopped herself. she looked to the boy, and inspected the staff. "hhhmm, ive seen few of these." she looked at the barely noticeable hairline gap in the center of the staff, then twisted the top half to the right gently. she didn't seem surprised when the wood was replaced by a blade. "aha! i thought so." looking to the boy she said. "this is a pretty rare weapon. not a lot of them were made. i never got a chance to learn the name of it, though." she checked it, testing the edge of the blade with her finger. "it's in pretty good condition to. i've trained with one of these before, with my old kin-leader. i ought to be able to teach you the basics of it." she changed the spear back into a staff and handed it back to the boy. Looking to the fairies, her eyebrow shot up when one of them said that these people were most likely the inner selves of the earthlings. "Excuse me?! i am most certainly not the inner self of Kat. Im me, not her. Im nobodys self but my own. Kat just happens to inhabit me when she falls asleep." she was already on edge, trying to judge if these were the 'blame the dryad' sort or not, then there was that bloody winged girl and her snarky comments, and then there was the fact that every so often somebody else inhabited her body and took it for a test drive. Yeah. Pretty good reason to be on edge.

Anderson had grimaced when he was noticed, it wasn't really the plan he had had in mind, and he wasn't used to friendly attention, but it made a change. So he approached warily. He approached in time to hear the green girl's angry comments. "Inhibit?"He asked cautiously. "Like possessing you mean?" He blinked uncertainly. He hadn't meant to intrude her comments, he had meant to just vanish into the crowd but in this dream he was feeling slightly more confident than normal.

Aria raised her eyebrows at the new boy. Like most innately popular people, she had an almost perfect vulnerability radar; this boy was the sort of person she teased mercilessly at school. She opened her mouth to say something sweetly condescending, the sort of thing that made people blush and avoid eye contact, then shut it uncertainly. She did not feel like messing with him. She blinked. Weird.
After a few confused moments, she opened her mouth again, but all she said was "Yes. Kat/TK have a bit of a Nikki/Jessica complex." TK the elf obviously didn't watch Heroes, so she wouldn't know what that meant, which would hopefully help avoid another bought of hilt-grabbing.

Aidan was surprised when TK turned his staff into a spear, and even more surprised that he possessed some rare weapon. "I'd be grateful if you could help me learn how to use this. Even if I do have some innate knowledge, I'd prefer to have some practical experience, too," he said, taking the weapons from TK. He stood fiddling with it for a while, changing the weapon back and forth between its two forms and listening to the conversation going on around him.
"Huh," Aidan said thoughtfully, after listening to TK's explanation, "I wonder why you're different than say, Francis, who disappears completely when he falls asleep. You said before that Kat fell asleep a little while ago, and yet, you're still here."

"T.K. isn't the only experienced fighter here. Take someone who can move at an average speed of a normal sword with a giant iron sword the size of a rowing oar. Then gove them a weightless sword. That's me. This," Doragon said, "Is the weightless sword." Doragon stuck his hand into his pocket. He pulled out a small piece of wood. The perfect size for him to hold like a sword handle. He flicked his wrist and a translucent blade shot out of the piece of wood. "This small piece of wood is enchanted, this is using up absolutely no energy to create this blade." Kameara's arm became a blur and when his arm stopped moving the words: 'Hello strange person I don't know and don't want to know.' were on a tree Kameara had been sitting next to. "Perfect precision and extreme speed. Not bragging just wanted people to know." Kameara said. Even if he did say that it was still bragging, even though he wasn't trying to brag.

Anderson was inclined to agree with the winged girl on the whole personality front, but he didn't know any of them that well even if they were parts of his mind, and he didn't want to offend them yet. "So you're T.K or Kat? Or both?" He asked the green girl just 'slightly' confused. "And who are you all?" He added adressing the rest. Then in the background he could hear Doragon's words, and when he looked round to see the demonstration on the tree and read it...
...He woke up. He felt pieces of eraser hit the back of his head and looked around, dazed. Nearby at another table a bunch of boys who looked like they were in Year 7 were laughing behind their hands. 'That just shows everything.' He thought bitterly. 'I'm not wanted here or in my dreams. Even kids four years younger than me don't like me.'
He went to his room when he got home that night, and gazed at the ceiling aimlessly. His head was spinning with angry, annoyed, frustrated thoughts. And the worst of it was now he wanted to go back to his dream again, and he knew that you only dream the same dream a few times- it would probably never happen again.

Siri bit her lip as the bell rang, taking her time as she put her books into her messenger bag. She really didn't want to go and face Sara, but what choice did she have? Still, what would she say when confronted by her best friend? What could she say? Tell her the truth, that she was being transported to some alternate universe while she slept, a universe where creatures from childhood tales suddenly came to life? Right. All that would do would be to get Sara thinking she was a head job. Better to avoid the conversation all together.
Making her decision, Siri swung her bag onto her shoulder and walked out into the hall just as the bell signaling she was late rang. Smiling slightly, she headed down the hall, away from her next class. If explaining herself was going to be too much of a hassle, why do it at all? Siri opened a door and walked up a flight of stairs, emerging on the roof.
She shivered slightly at the cold air, but ignored it otherwise. Walking to the edge of the roof, Siri placed her bag on the ground and laid down, using it as a pillow. Curling up into a ball to conserve body heat, Siri closed her eyes and slowly drifted to sleep...
~*~
Siri blinked once, blinded slightly by the sudden light of the clearing. When her vision cleared, the girl stiffened automatically. There were more people than before. Biting her lower lip, she forced her body to relax. She wasn't in danger. Even if TK/Kat had a bow and didn't look happy. And the boy from before who had stood a ways away from the group had a weird sword thing. And a new boy had a staff-like spear. And that girl with the pointed ears looked like she was about to kill them all.
Nope. No reason at all to be worried.
Gritting her teeth, Siri gave the group a forced smile and asked, "Miss me? How's the whole 'save the world' mission going? Did we kick the bad guy's a** yet?"

He 'woke up' in his dream to find that he was actually standing in almost the exact same place he had left, and hardly any time had past at all, the same people were all stood in the same place, all still looking happily like they would throttle another. Another girl was there as well now. Strange dream, he thought, I've never had one that continues so accurately before. Still, he shrugged off and settled himself on the ground, waiting to hear more conversation, and possibly to find out the point of this convaluted dream of his.

Aidan was rather taken aback by Doragon's display, and really couldn't think of anything to say other than, "I see." Instead, he strapped his staff to his back again and turned to the new girl with the two-toned hair.
"I think we're still in the talking phase rather than the action one right now," he said, with a friendly smile. "Which reminds me, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Aidan. Pleased to meet..."
*~*
Aidan woke with a jerk when he heard a metallic clang coming from the kitchen. It took him a few moments to re-orient himself to the sights and sounds of his small bedroom, which seemed duller than the dream world for some reason. He glanced out his window and saw that it was night time outside, far later than he had intended to sleep.
He swung his legs out of bed and went into the kitchen to investigate the noise.
