we have auditions for MARCHING band and CONCERT band but we dont do it for band camp...unlesss thats what u mean by that is that its for marching season....band camp starts for me in 44 days! haha...so they let y'all pick ur audition music? ours is all the same and given to us...i like it that way haha (and we gotta play scales but ya kno)

fhorngurl16 Hi everyone, i am from Green Cove Springs, Florida. I am in the Clay High School Blue Devil Brigade Band. PM me if you know what school I'm talking about!!! Cool! My school's the Blue Devil Band too! I live in North Georgia, but I refuse to say I'm from here. I lived in NYC (Staten Island to be exact) before we moved here, and I realized something: This place is SUPER BORING if you can't drive! There are barely any sidewalks where I live!!!!!!! The library and all the shopping facilities are like half a mile away from my house! I hate this place! The only reason I haven't completely died of boredom here is because I'm in marching band. I play the clarinet!! xd . Our band's had a really great season this year, and for once I got a trophy at our awards ceremony! Anywayz forgive me for yapping! I hope I haven't ruined your day! biggrin

Goddess Nayru chika-hoshi we have auditions for MARCHING band and CONCERT band but we dont do it for band camp...unlesss thats what u mean by that is that its for marching season....band camp starts for me in 44 days! haha...so they let y'all pick ur audition music? ours is all the same and given to us...i like it that way haha (and we gotta play scales but ya kno) well then, i woulda been screwed...haha...yea i really screwed up though...i had a dentist appt. the day b4 and my gums were killin me...then i had a bad cold and my throat killin me....so i didn't do so well...yea, SUCKED!!! i got 8th chair im so mad, i was 6th last year...ugh, there are freshman ahead of me!!!! oh well i guess (my sr. year too) i better do better on concert haha!

I'm in Georgia from the band county. Home of the Lassiter Trojan Band. The two time national championship class is graduating now. They have decided not to compete until the band director retires. They think it might be more fun then. That means we won't go to any good competitions when I am a student there. crying Instead we might go to Asia. This will be a fun next three years since my middle school director wants to take us north this upcoming year. This is going to be so fun!

G2_00 I'm in Georgia from the band county. Home of the Lassiter Trojan Band. The two time national championship class is graduating now. They have decided not to compete until the band director retires. They think it might be more fun then. That means we won't go to any good competitions when I am a student there. crying Instead we might go to Asia. This will be a fun next three years since my middle school director wants to take us north this upcoming year. This is going to be so fun! I'm from GA too. I seen you guys perform once. Ya'll were pretty cool. Me, I'm a Berkmar Patriot. We're 2 time silver division champs at Sprayberry. We were actually pretty good for a small band. I f you seen us, lemme know what you think

Hey, if you guys come to the exhibition we host I will be a volunteer. I don't get to march until a few years. My brother is in Lassiter currently. I will be in the 8th grade band playing the National Anthem.

Hello! my name is Manda. I'm a HUGE band nerd. I hail from Georgia Southern University where I'm in the Alto Saxophone section of Southern Pride Marching Band! WOOT WOOT! I"m located here ins Statesboro, no onese ever heard of it its near Savannah. And I cut my marching band teeth on Parkview High school marching band. AWESOME! LoL. But lets see. I loved band although my football team won too much so there was never any normal winter breaks...-_-' what a shame. But it was grand. Oh PHS is in Lilburn another no name town, near the big rock Stone MOuntain.
I'm also involved in Tau Beta Sigma, the The Band Honorary and Service Soritory, everyone should join, or our Borthers Kappa Kappa Psi!! (BTW KKY was in Drumline...) But yea I'm so glad to find other bandies. peace yo!

Another Georgian. YAY! I get to help at the band functions and Mr. Watkins comes to our school and promises us things for when we get to high school. The biggest joke is him retiring and the band not being ready. He has everyone trained. We will just send him off with a nice party probably.
