Haruki looked stunned "You where serious weren't you!?" He thought it was some sort of joke she was pulling. He trotted over to her side and sighed. "We'll lets be quick about ok?" He said trotting past her.

Liliana blushed.
"Well of course I was!
Why else would my stomach grumble?!"
She giggled and ran behind Haruki.
"Really, though, what do you want to take home, then?"
There were a lot of berry bushes between here and the cave.

"Just some food so your monster there can leave us be." He laughed. As they passed a berry bush Haruki spotted it and stop. He floded his wing so it was a bit down and out. "You can put them in here." He grinned and started to shake the bush so some of the berries fell into his wing.

Liliana grinned.
She ducked down to the bottom of a bush right next to the one Haruki was shaking,
and pulled it back far until releashing it so that the majority of berries landed right in his wing.
Though, a few did whap him right in the face.
Liliana held back her laughter as she smiled innocently at Haruki.
"You know you love me!"

"And your lucky I do!" He laughed trying to lick off some berry juice one his nose. Hold on did I just say I love her!? That thought hit him like a fratetrail. He knew he wanted to be with her, stay by her side, but was that love? "I think we have enough, lets get back so we can dig in." He headed back for the cave as fast as he could.

Liliana glanced at him suspiciously.
She saw the look on his face when he said that.
But she shrugged it off, too hungry and happy to mind.
"Fine with me!" she hollered & took off for the cave.
She wished she wasn't so bad with finding things in the forest,
or she'd have gone through a short-cut to beat Haruki.
"Darn my bad sense of direction!" she thought to herself.

Haruki walked a fast as his paws would go, with out letting a single berry fell out. It didn't really take long at all to back Liliana's cave, his new home. He layed down and let the berries roll off his wing and onto the ground. "Dig in." He smiled.

They were closer to the cave then Liliana had guessed.
Feeling a little rebelious, Liliana couldn't help herself when they got home.
The minute the words left Haruki's lips, Liliana pounced.
But it wasn't the berries, she pounced.
Liliana giggled as she hovered over Haruki.
"Don't mind if I do."
Her eyes fixed luciously on his.

"OI!" Haruki yelped out as he was flattened. "I am not your scratching post! You have trees outside for that job." It was so hard from him to tell what she wanted from one minute to the next.

Liliana was so taken aback she was confused.
She stood there for a minute just staring at him as if he had said something ridiculously crazy, but then she stepped off of him.
"Right.." she spoke softly as she looked at the berries on the ground.
Her anxiousness and excitedness had quickly disappeared.
She could feel her stomach still clenching from hunger, but she didn't feel much like food anymore.
She picked up a few berries anyways, and ate them.
Then, Liliana got up and made her way towards the back of the cave where it was warmer.
She curled up in a ball, pulling her tail close around her.

Haruki was so utterly confused. Female was more complicated then a rudexcube but it's not like he'd now what that is. So poor Haruki had thought he had done something wrong, something to upset her. He was only joking around before so why all the silent treatment? He paddled along to the end of the cave. He layed down infront of Liliana when he found her. "Whats wrong?"

Liliana sighed deeply.
"I'm sorry, it's nothing."
She felt bad that she kept getting so worked up over the little things,
but everything moved so fast,
she never had time to even think of stopping herself.
When they'd arrived at the cave, she had unexpectedly felt incredibly flirty and couldn't help but let those feelings show.
But Haruki randomly had those moments when he just wasn't thinking or feeling the same thing as she was,
and it just threw the whole mood off.
Either that, or he was joking.
But Liliana never could tell when he was joking and when he was not,
which griped herself to the max but it dampened her mood everytime.
She knew she had no right to be upset with him over that, either.

"If you could only gobble I'd call you a turkey." He laughed and wiggled his way next to Liliana's side. Haruki opened the wing next to her and wrapped it around her to help her keep warm and to keep her next to him. Why he did this the minya didn't know, but he did know it felt right.

Liliana looked up at him and smiled before she snuggled into him and lay her head on his paws.
When he wrapped his wing around her, she suddenly felt safe and warm and almost completely disregarded her previous feelings.
As comfortable as Haruki had made the cave that night, Liliana wasn't tired.
Well, not anymore anyways.
She rolled over on her back, with Haruki's wing still wrapped around her.
She leaned up and kissed him, "Are you tired, yet?"

Haruki blushed with the kiss and shook his head, no.
He nuzzled his head into the side of her neck, purring a little.
He nuzzled and rubbed his way up to the side of her head and nipped at her ear.
