Memai Shirosaki I take it you're from the UK Silv? Meh, I'm sure you must've heard of Malaysia in your History books. We're still English as ever, save for the weather xd And terribly old-fashioned. I don't think they still show re-runs of Mr.Bean now do they? *ramble* Hah, of course I've heard of Malaysia, I have a very good friend online from there (one I actually haven't heard from in a while). I'm not English either but I am old fashioned, due to my childhood and how I've been brought up - i.e. well. No idea about Mr. Bean, I seldomly watch television.

"Becoming Queen" shows how no one thought Queen was going to be big.
How Freddie joined Ibex/Wreckage because he couldn't convince Smile to let him in.
It has audio clips of the whole band talking about certain aspects of how they formed.
Also, I found this interesting since I never knew it. John didn't audition for the band, he was a friend of Freddie, Roger, and Brian's. When asked if he would join, he agreed.
Roger, was in fact the only one who ever auditioned, and that was because Tim Staffel and Brian missed jamming together and needed a drummer. Hence, Smile was formed.
It shows their rise, their fall in the mid-80s, and their yet-again-rise towards the end. It also has some footage from Freddie's funeral and the tribute concert.
All in all, it's pretty interesting. It gives a lot of common knowledge, however. I'll post more on it once I get a chance to watch it and actually pull interesting facts out of it.

So...Deaky never actually auditioned for the band? O_o;;
I think I kinda understand why people could get that mixed up...they said Deaky met Bri and Rog (and possibly Freddie too) through someone at a disco, saying that they needed a bass player...so he auditioned. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm too lazy to flip through 'The Early Years' book to check DX

I think he just showed up one chapter. xd ;3; Which is sad...the chapter that was meant for him went on and on about the former Opposition bassist, Clive Castledine (I think that's how you spell it) before actually getting onto Deaky ;3; No love for Deaky crying How cruel... But he did pop around the chapter where they mentioned how Queen actually formed, and how it was completed when Deaky joined up O.o;
