What the hell... Thought Elruda. She had found the alligators, alright. Basically, she had followed the one she befriended earlier. With a plop, her "friend" sunk beneath the murky water. Problem was, she found a pack of them. It appeared that she would need to separate one from the group. There was NO way that she's going to approach ten alligators at once.

And thus, Elruda thought of fish. But how the hell was she supposed to get one...? Then, maybe something disguised as fish...? Elruda looked at a piece of driftwood. An idea came to her but she can guarantee that the alligators would NOT like it.

"Henge." She murmured. The driftwood turned into a fish. Deciding that the handiwork wasn't good enough, Elruda modified it a bit so it looked like a living fish, madly flailing. Passing it as acceptable, Elruda tossed the fish at the nearest alligator.

((Oops. O_o I thought it was two...))
Hearing her sensei call for her, Elruda abandoned her attempts. Carrying the two monkeys and the birds with her, she returned to the main training ground. She proudly showed Wrath the sparrow and the hummingbird, jabbering away about how she managed to win the hummingbird's trust. She also (basically) pushed the monkeys in his face, proudly saying that she managed to win their trust on her first two attempts.

But her sensei only sternly told her of the next assignment. Sighing, she asked the animals to sit around nearby. Information gathering...? She thought. And on sensei...? She quickly recounted what she knew of Wrath. He was the taijutsu master and had insane strength but that was about it with her limited knowledge. So she begun with...
"Um...how old are you...?" Trying to rephrase it so that she didn't sound rude, Elruda continued. "Well...you don't look much older than me..."

Tick tock tick tock. Elruda patiently waited for her sensei to reply. Wrath seemed very unwilling to give out information about himself. She sighed. This was going to be very difficult. If there was something she wasn't good at, that was persuasion. She never exactly had the best of relationships with her family, after all.

"Eh..." And Elruda decided to change the topic to something else. "Um...well, I'm 12...around same as most Academy Students." She didn't realized that her face looked extremely disappointed. "Well...I was looking forward to starting school with them...but that wasn't going to happen...with the Fire Master around, at least..." She mumbled.

"Academy Students were supposed to start earlier due to the tension and possibility of war. Um...well...I had an older brother...and he was much cleverer than me...in learning Jutsu and in intelligence. My parents...well..." She continued on, not realizing her voice turned bitter. "They never paid alot of attention to me because he took the spotlight. So instead..." Elruda gulped. This was nerve wracking. Conversation starting was so not her thing. "So instead...I rebelled against the elders' teachings." Not realizing she blushed crimson she confessed. "It was fun...repainting the Hyuuga compound a different color. Eh...they were really mad." She admitted.

"My uncle has told a few things on current events. And it so happened that he mentioned someone known as the fire master. The guy sounds strong." Wrath replied slightly impressed but tried not to show it since Elruda was clearly upset by what had happened.

Hearing about the Fire Master, mentioned or no, made her heart sank like a stone. "I hate him." She whispered bitterly. "If it wasn't for him...the clan would've stayed with me." And then she remembered something important. "I heard Konoha wasn't the only one.... That the other Masters had also invaded their respective elemental villages." She murmured.

She wasn't just disappointed just because the Fire Master easily took over her beloved home village. Elruda was angry, angry with the villagers themselves, that they were too weak to stop him from coming, even though if they had worked together, surely success would've been possible. Greed. The hunger for riches. How corrupt modern shinobi of Konoha became... Forgetting the nindo. "I still wonder if the rightful Hokage is even alive anymore..." She murmured.

"I heard the same. But there still isn't a lot of information on these 'masters'. In fact the Amekage has requested a mission for a team of ninja to infiltrate Kusagakure and gather info on the wind master." Wrath replied.

"Sometimes I wonder if Konoha would even be the same anymore." The Hyuuga's voice was now quiet. "When I look at Amegakure...and how many people is around...it almost feels like how...Konoha is supposed to be..." Elruda looked down so that Wrath couldn't see the homesickness in her eyes. Though she promised to fully be faithful to Amegakure, she couldn't help but long for Konoha.

"Probably not.."Wrath said coldly. It wasn't his intention to make Elruda feel bad but he was just being realistic about the situation. The old hokage just so happens to go missing when the fire master takes over. A logical answer would be that the fire master killed the old hokage.
