"Well...Its kind of complex..." Natalia stopped and referred to her data pad, quickly pulling up her notes on the subject. "Read this, its all of the official stuff plus some of my notes." She said, offering him the pad. Intelligible explanations were not her strong point and she knew it. She always ended up expounding on some minor detail that was interesting to her and all but completely irrelevant to the question.

Nodding, Sage took the datapad and quickly skimmed the notes and subject matter, after a few minutes, he simply stated, "huh" before thinking for a few more moments and expanding on his thought, " so these persons are supposed to have fantastic powers, protect people, and swing around swords of energy.....other than the possible misuse of these abilities, what's so unnerving?"

"Well, you try doing the math on how a human of average build can leap 30ft vertically, unassisted, in normal gravity and see how comfortable you are around them." Natalia said, slightly annoyed by the question. Her personal opinions were not one of her favorite discussion topics outside of the tech realm.

After blinking a few times, Bob replies, " 42.....yes, that sounds right to me. 42. " with a laugh he shrugs, " does it really matter? so what if they can leap around like that, a blaster to the face will still kill them. and it's not like they can instantly regrow limbs, or cause people to explode spontaneously, or make someone into a human puppet. think about it, is a 30ft jump going to mean the difference of a battle, when you can use a starship class weapon to shoot them? and if they have sworn to protect the galaxy, why not believe them, I mean, they seem to have a pretty good track record from what I read...."

"It's not that...I just..." Natalia trailed off then shrugged. Growing up raised by a droid had instilled a basic faith in mathematics and science, not people. Figuring the debate would be a lost cause she decided to change the subject to one that interested her more. "So, are you thinking about getting your ship fixed or possibly selling it?" She asked, a spark of her earlier enthusiasm infecting her voice. She would love nothing better then to purchase the odd craft and spend a month locked in her workshop studying and repairing it.

Bob's eyes widen a bit as he hears natalia, " SELL my pride and joy? no....but getting it fixed up would be wonderful, especially if I could get a competent helping hand. uh....would you perchance be interested in that kind of deal? and just to be clear, I'm dirt poor and don't have much I could pay you with other than services."

((got to go)) "If I can make a full study of it as we work you've got a deal." Natalia said without hesitation. She wasn't to keen on letting someone else near let alone into her work shop but this would be worth it. "...And I've got a storage room you can stay in if you need a place to stay while we work." Natalia herself lived in a converted one over the shop. She despised being away from her shop for any length of time.

With a smile that shined with an innocence long lost by most in the corrupt cities, and a happiness equally as rare, Doc bob nearly lept on (and by lept on I mean glomped) Natalia. however due to a quick mental check of himself, he expressed his grattitude by taking her hand and planting a kiss on it, " thank you! that would be wonderful! " after a few moments of silence, he then pulled out his remote, " now let's see if we can't get this thing back in the air...." and with a jolly laugh, he pressed his remote, lowering the security system of his ship.

((Does this include the lower levels of Coruscant, such as the Red Corridor, or just the upper central city?))

((Going by the description, just the mid and upper levels)) Natalia resisted the urge to wipe her hand off openly but made a mental note to disinfectant the area latter. She wasn't quite to the point of wearing gloves at all times but the though was becoming more appealing despite the loss of sensation they would cause. Her living quarters themselves were almost as sterile as the hermetically sealed clean room the decor was molded after.

As bob climbs into his ship, he offers natalia a helping hand she didnt seem to like that kiss on the hand....note to self: kissing hand yea....another note to self: binge on blue prints as soon as possible. find out the most recent advances in ship technology, note part 2: salvage ALL pieces, even if they can't be fixed by someone else, if only to take them apart and see how they work. note part 3: upgrade 'bob' and see if I can't get my hands on a lightsaber, or at least see one in action and try to make an imitation....hmmm.... "where to m'lady? just show me where to go and I'll see what I can do...." as he said this, Bob showed natalia where to sit, taking up a small hammock-like construction for himself at the control console and donning gloves and a helmet. the gloves themselves were hooked in with various wires, and had multiple nodules attached to them. As bob moved his hands (in gloves) pressing nodules and making different hand signals, the ship came online and the shields back up.
((what? he couldn't repair the controls of the old ship, so he had to make his own ! blaugh ))

After settling into her seat, such as it was, Natalia began making a visual inventory of the ships interior. That came to a shrieking halt when Bob donned the nav controls. After three seconds of intense internal debate curiosity won out over self-preservation and she pulled up the directions on her data pad. She could supplement them verbally without an issue but figured giving Bob a visual of the route was a good idea. She didn't want him to be surprised by something and end up crashing the ship.

After taking a few moments to look at the datapad's directions, Bob nods, " alrighty then....lets see how much of my ships systems are still running.....hmm....do we inertial dampners?" As he laughed, bob continued to imput data through his gloves, his fingers twiddling and twitching, flicking the nodules rapidly as he calculated the needed vectors and thrust needed for the ship's flight. As the ship rose from the ground, it seemed to groan from the effort, shaking violently as it dislodged itself from the street and left a sizable crator. after a few more moments of waiting, Bob made a single, easily distinguished motion with his hands, pushing his thumbs down as if he were firing a weapon. The ship almost immdiatly responded, accelerating to full speed quickly as it flew through the air and towards their destination, as they were going, Bob continued to duck and weave through traffic, like a mad man pilot or a pod racer, he managed to break a few laws and run a few lights (which he could be charged for if he had a transponder code on his ship....but he doesnt. rofl ). as they neared the abode of natalia, Bob again began to twitch his thumbs around, the shields rose and the engines stopped, allowing the ship to land abrubtly on the surface and cracking the duracrete slightly from the impact. after a few more motions, the ship powered down, and bob took off his gloves and helmet, and turned to natalia, " have fun? because that was GREAT! I never got to test my piloting against others like that before...."

Natalia had kept her hands resting on her thighs and her expression blank through the whole trip despite the urge to scream and hide. She smiled tightly and disengaged her nails from where they had managed to penetrate her coveralls and find skin. She would need to apply some disinfectant and spray bandage latter. "That was...the most...awesome thing ever." She said, laughing and wanting to vomit at the same time. She was too cautious a person to be an adrenaline junky but the predisposition was there. "But if you ever try that again I will kill you." She said once she regained her composure.

As his smile faded, Bob looked at natalia, innocently, " um...try what? I was just flying.....and what was with all those blaring noises as I passed around people? was I getting complemented for my skillful flying, or berated for some reason?"
