Hiro rushed back to the house looking imediately for Anex and her younger brother. His eyes skiming around the house looking for the body he was afraid he would find. A few tears were making the way down his face.

Anex rushed towards Hiro, no mortal wounds apparent, pulling her brother behind her. She grabbed Hiro with her other arm and pulled both out the back door. Solis was crying and sniveling, repeating the mantra 'I'm sorry' over and over. Anex gave him a silencing look, wiped a smear of blood away from her eyes, and said, "We've got to get out of here now, as quickly and quietly as possible."

"Hey Im still alive!!!" he shouted.
"Shut up!" yelled the slave dealer.

Hiro nodded as he looked the 2 over. ' ' They seemed okay which was weird because of the explosion... but now was not the time. ' ' He grabbed a brick as they went to leave...just in case. "So where are we going?" He asked as they rushed through the rubble. He glanced to the side, one of the workers was gawking at them, the rest not seeming to notice them. He chucked the brick and the smack that could be heard told him he hit his mark. "I think they will be...pre ocupied for a while."

Although Solis appeared completely unscathed, Anex had many cuts and forming bruises across her body, but she ignored them and said, "Anywhere. We need to go anywhere. And fast. We've already drawn so much attention."
I can't do this much longer. It's got to stop.

"Hold on then." Hiro said as he grabbed onto Solis and Anex tighter. With a slightly squeezing sensation going through his body they disappeared and reappeared in an abandoned building. "This place should be safe. It's about a half mile from the outer edges of town, but we needed somewhere safe." Hiro then pecked her on the cheek.

Tao walked into the slave shop, " Where can a guy get a good slave around here, all those other ones ran off on me. " He mumbled to himself as he walked down the isle. He stopped and went back to the front, maybe if he just stayed there a good one would notice him. He kept an eye out to see if anyone was looking at him.

Anex blinked in surprise a few times, but came back to her senses hearing her brother still saying 'I'm sorry'. She grabbed his shouulders firmly and said, "It's okay. It's not your fault. Just calm down."
"But it is my fault!" The tears only came harder.

Hiro looks down at the boy. "It is not your fault. There is no way you could make that house blow up." ' ' But what did.....' ' Hiro glanced at Anex with a questioning look on his face, as if to ask what did cause that.

Anex looked sadly down at her brother and covered his ear with her hands. Turning slightly to Hiro, she said softly, "It really was his fault. For some reason, Solis is highly magical. But, as you could see, we've never had enough money to pay for a teacher. As such, whenever he loses control of his emotions, he causes a lot of destruction. He doesn't mean to," she paused, leaning over and resting her face on Solis's head, "but he's caused a lot of problems for us in the past. We have to keep moving." She removed her hands from his ears. He seemed to have calmed down.
"I-I'm sorry, An-n-n-ex!" he said through a few last shudders. He wiped his eyes with a grimy hand. "Where are we going to live now?"
With a pleading glance, Anex turned to Hiro. "I don't know. We've practically run out of options."

"We could stay here...Nobody lives here. I've used it as a hid, i mean temperay living quarters before." Hiro gently stroked her hair, "There are bedrooms upstairs..it has a working stove. I think the beds are still made, it doesn't seem anyone else visited lately." 'Hmm, Solis's magic could cause some problems here...excpecially with the person who lives across the lane. Her wolves might be troublesome...' "The only real problem might be is the house is small. only 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Not to mention i'm sure you noticed how small the kitchen, living room, and dining room are. The most important thing will probably be the bedroom situation. I'm not sure where i'll be sleeping then ..." He stopped running his hand through anex's hair and sat up. "Anywhere you want me to sleep?"

Anex had looked perfectly content, being the one comforted for once. That was, she was content until the bed question came up. Instantly she stiffened and blushed, pulling away. The question seemed innocent enough, but Anex took it the wrong way, and answered in a flustered voice, "Well, you can have one, and Solis can have the other. We should probably have someone awak tonight to make sure no one followed us. Besides," she said, smiling nervously, "You need your rest, and I need to clean myself off."
She quickly walked away before he could argue, sitting just outside the front door. Wiping the dirt and blood of of her face, she thought, For once, I'm glad one of Solis's explosions cut me. Makes a good excuse.
Solis looked at Hiro, still defiant, but not with dislike. He looked down, as if embarrassed and whispered, "You saved us from getting caught. I guess you don't bring bad things afterall."
