Cairne had made it just in time to see the others running off. He stayeed in the shadows, making sure none of them saw him. 'It would seem that they have made themselves known. I'll have to be careful, they may try something again with me involved. But what is he planning?'
He returned to the Inn and waited in the main room sitting in a chair in front of the fireplace. He waited for the others to join him.

Lord sighed, for what seemed like the 42nd time that hour.
"Ah, but you happen to be wrong." Lord commented after hearing the previous comment referring to the mark, and healing it ECT. He thought back to his studies, and remembered one important bit of info.
"I think that what you did only cured his physical wounds. If that's a curse, what I think it is, then I doubt much other than the Mercury lighthouses water could cure it. Bugger." Lord pointed out, and then sighed for the 43rd time.
"And, if what else I've read is true, that things a time-blast. Namely, it'll kick in sooner than later, and... well... you get my point. K.O." Lord finished bitterly. Why the smeg was their leader, of all people, getting battered with every problem under the sun? He sighed for the 44th time. T'was going to be ANOTHER very long day.

Vaek sighed along with Lord. "He's right. If we don't cure this, then I'm dead." He looked towards Lord, who seemed a little worried. "I'm sorry that I'm always getting injured or cursed or what-not. Saturos and Menardi mentioned that they were going to use me for some special purpose, but I don't know what."

((OOC: Yes, today is September 2nd, which means school has started for me. Because of it, my weeks are going to be extremely busy from now until June. This means I won't be on as much as I normally would be. It'll be hard for me to update the rp, but if you want to continue, go ahead. Just don't go beyond reaching Mercury Lighthouse if I'm not around. Also, I'm sure you guys also have school. If you aren't on as much, then I understand and I won't kick you out. Thank you for your cooperation.))

"Well, it's kinda a longish tale. In a nutshell, Vaek here just got cursed by Saturos and Merendi, who were supposedly killed 50 years ago, and now, if we don't reach the mercury light house in time, he's stuffed. Basically." Lord replied, all within one breath. This can't really be though. Two un-dead fire adepts cursing his leader. Joyous joys of joyfulness.
((Ah, Hayato. Seeing as I was joint leader, want me to do so in your place? Anyhoo, all follow Lord now! blaugh Yay! I'm now self appointed in charge! But heck, this is probably why I got appointed so. ))

((Hey, be my guest Lord blaugh . If you want, I can fall unconcious, and that would make you leader. But then, you'd have to find a way to pull me to Mercury Lighthouse. I could let your two djinn team up with my two djinn and use some psynergy to help out.))
Vaek starts to breathe heavily. "Oh no.... This curse.... is starting to take.... its affect on my.... body...." The mark on his hand started flashing intensly. Suddenly, Vaek felt all of his energy drained from his body, and he collapsed onto the ground, unconcious. Geode and Ptera rushed towards Vaek and tried to wake him up. The two djinn turned towards the group, and spoke to them for the first time.
"He's alive, just knocked out."
"Geode's right. We have to get him to Imil now. He's obviously too weak to enter Mercury Lighthouse. We'll leave him in the Inn there."

"Ah..." Lord commented as he watched their leader collapse. What the smeg were they going to do now? IF he couldn't lead them, then...
"All right then. I'm second in command, and now, I'd say first. And, I think that the best thing we can do at current, would be to get moving." Lord declared to the group. "However... We have the minor problem of getting him to Imil. Bah." Lord continiued. What could they do about that? Suddenly, something happened to click.
"Djinn. That's it." Lord kept on declaring, and picked up Veak's two DJinn. He muttered something to them. They asked him to speak up.
"I said, can't you two carry him or something? I mean, he IS yours." Lord commanded.
"... Damn." The two sulked, and began to heave Vaek. Yeah, his hunch was right. This was gonna be one hell of a long day.
