I would ask for double. Birthday and Christmas come seperately. I wouldn't let them give me combined gifts like a bunch of cheap-skates. ninja

we don't even get much rainfall here and unfortunately this creates a large problem. we get annual winds her we call the Santa Anna Winds and with them more often than not comes massive wild fires. ones that can take days and sometimes weeks to put out. i actually had to evacuate my home a couple years back

The topography around the region doesn't help the residents. Because of the mountianous areas around the cities, the wind comes through in a tunnel like fashion, fanning fires more so then if the ground were flat. Ironically, celebrities just LOVE the area for some odd reason un-be-knownst to everyone else with more than half a brain.

Watched a documentary about forest fires on National Geographic. Oddly enough, it was about where you live. I found it interesting, yet depressing at the same time. To be honest, I don't see how anyone would want to live there. It's hot, it's humid, it's dangerous, and there are just places around the other states that are so much better.
But, this is all opinionated, and as such, it's everyones's opinion to choose where they wish to live.
