Roy kicked back at his desk, placing his coffee cup down, counting the minutes before the same messenger would come in bearing the loads of paperwork they had to do, which Riza would normally take from him. As if on cue, a messenger opened the door, balancing a huge stack of paper work. He made it over to Roy's desk and placed it down with a heave, and then saluted Roy.
"Colonel!"
"At ease." Roy said, unimpressed. "So I guess this is..."
"For the incident, Sir." Roy sighed inwardly as he looked at the stack of paper.
"Thank you, soldier." He said, excusing the messenger. The messenger saluted once again, and then left. Roy sighed at the paperwork and then held his hands close to it. He looked over at Shadow, then around the room, and t6hen at Shadow again.
"You don't see this." He said, making sure Riza wasn't around. With a snap of his fingers the paper caught on fire and burned to a smoldering ash within seconds, then snuffed itself out. Roy swept the ashes into the garbage can and covered them with some non-related paperwork, as to not let Riza know what happened. He got up and opened a window to release the burning smell from the room, then sat down again.
"They have extras. And now's not the time for paperwork. We have to think."

Riza walked into the office shooting her cuffs as she came in. Noticing the refusal to meet her eyes from both alchemists and what appeared to be a big smudge of ash on the corner of the Colonels desk she took a stance and asked
"Okay , what did you do with it Colonel?? And before you say "What?" may I just point out a few small things?
A) you are not the best cleaner *points to desk*
And B) I just passed the messenger in the hallway. stare "

Riza closed her eyes and tucked her chin. Trying for all she was worth not to smile. Seconds later she'd conqured the..urge and cleared her throat.
"Right ..Since he is a higher rank I suppose it is all right if we put a hold on the paperwork, under his orders."

Roy smiled in victory and then leaned back in his chair, getting onto business. "So. What do we know?"

Riza came to attention. "We know nothing for sure Colonel but we can suppose that at least two or more terrorists were involved in the bombing on 34th street earlier this evening. This was obviously a warning of some kind but orchestrated by what must be a higher power and possibly..a crimson alchemist was it?"

Roy nodded his head, leaning forward in his chair with a very serious look on his face. "I've encountered someone who called themselves The Crimson Alchemist before..." He uttered seriously. "Hughes and I were investagating an alchemic murder... He called us by name, then tore the floor from beneath our feet. It was quite impressive for a man such as he, actually. He looked very... small."
All of a sudden a ruckus was heard from down the hallway, crashing boxes, falling people, and alchemy transmutations. As well as some frantic clanging.
"WHAT DID HE JUST CALL ME?!!? A BEAN SO TINY AS TO NOT BE SEEN!?! I'LL KILL HIM!!!"
"Brother calm down!! I didn't hear anyone say that..."
Roy laughed. "Well what do you know. Maybe our Prodigy has something to say about this."

'Really Sir ?" Riza said as the door slammed against the wall behind her. "I don't remember reading a report on any Crimson Alchemist. Did you file it yourself or..*A look of miserly derision comes over he face* OR..did you just choose not to WRITE one???"

Roy laughed and held his hands up in a surrendering position, nervously smiling at Riza as Ed stomped through the door just in time to hear Shadow's witty remark. Ed's head pulsed with a vein (much like this --> stressed ) and he immediatley raised his voice again.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?! WHY I OUGHTTA--"
"Nii-san!!" Alphonse, his younger and slightly more intelligent- I mean- reasonable brother stepped in, holding Ed back with a hand over his mouth. He, unlike his older brother, realised Shadow's rank.
"Uh- Mr. Shadow- uh- Sir. Yoraishiku." Alphonse did his best to bow while restraining Ed, but ended up smashing his horn into Ed's head.
"AAAH!! ALPHONSE!!" Ed screamed as he jumped away from Al, over to Roy's desk. Roy smirked evilly, and he secretly sparked the lower part of Ed's coat, making it catch fire.
"How could you do that to your own brother Al!?" Ed said, rubbing his head. (Wow that rhymed so well.) Alphonse's eyes widened. (If they could. You know, Imagine.)
"Nii-san! You're-"
"Al, you're so inconsiderate!"
"Nii-san, your coat!!" Roy laughed, covering his mouth to keep it on the down-low.
"What is it?" Ed said, annoyed.
"You're on Fire Nii-san!!"
"What? ........AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Ed started frantically running around the room flailing his arms.
"AL DO SOMETHING!!!!" He screamed.
"Like what!?"
"ANYTHING!!!" With that Al held his large metal arm out and clotheslined his brother, making him fall onto his back, suffocating the fire into nonexistance. Leaving Ed on the floor, in pain, where he was initially.
"You two always bring a commotion into my office, don't you?" Roy smirked. Ed cursed from his place on the floor, not making any attempt to get up.
"Cram it, Colonel."

Riza shot Roy a look that said (YOU will SO pay for that later you psychotic power crazy imbecile) Then she not so sublety pointed in the Briga. Generals direction and slapped a hand over her face.

Ed looked at Shadow. "Tch." Was his reply. Alphonse bowed to Shadow again.
"Nice to see you again, Shadow-sama." He said, diligently.
"So, Elric." Roy started. "Hear about the bombing?" Edward sat up, dusted himself off, then got up, transmuting his coat to normal.
"Yea, its why we're here. We want to know if it has anything to do with us." Ed replied.
"What a coincidence," Roy said, leaning forward to prop his elbows on his desk. "We want to know if you know anything about it."

shadow shook his head, and then remembered that his pants were still torn, exposing his automail legs. he clapped his hands and transmuted his pants to normal.
