"I will find you little girl. Wherever you go, I will find you and make you scream like you did before." he said, his eyes glowing purple.
Marina whimpered, the pain in her shoulder growing, but she continued to run. Her wings hanging limply and torn, she stumbled on a tree root and fell. Gasping in pain, she look behind her. Him and his men were coming closer, his tatooed hands reaching for her.
"No, no." she whimpered, crawling away from them.
"There's no use running," he chuckled darkly. Reaching out, he grabbed her neck.
Marina jerked up from her sleep, panting and looking around the room frantically. Realizing it was a dream, she looked down to see Ray sleeping soundly, she was glad she didn't wake him. After all that happened, he deserved his rest. Laying back down, she tried going back to sleep.

"It's ok. I know you meant well." And the sun burns, now. Yep and thankfully it's not going to be a noticable sunburn, since I'm in the shade. I smiled at him.

"Sounds like a deal. If I get one of your pieces, you have to kiss me also." Anna said moving one of her pieces. "If you win I'll also take you out to a nice dinner." she said winking to Colton and waiting for him to make his move.

Ray kept his breathing slow but he did awaken, he felt something strange a fear growing as Marina shuffled against him, his eyes were closed but he would not ask why now and would wait until they both got up before asking.

Marina woke later, though her sleep was a little restless. She saw that Ray was still sleeping, so she crept out of bed slowly. She opened the door and looked back,glad to see that he hadn't moved. She walked down the hall and towards the front door, ready for her daily training.

Ray waited listening until she was out of his hearing range then he got up, slowly out of bed, he felt with his hands the way down the hall down the stairs and out the door. It took him about 20 minutes to do this as he stepped out onto the soft cold ground and began to concentrate, listening carefully trying to feel out exactly how far away Marina had gone.

Marina reached the clearing, she grabbed her necklace and had it turn into twin katanas. Taking a deep breath, she started her training.

"I'm not sure. I don't sense anything intending to hurt us, but lately I've been getting sick. I am almost one-hundred percent positive we'll be safe though." I smiled, yet again, for reassurance. I knew not what laid beyond what I saw last night.

I blushed really hard and I knew it. "Wha-what?" I've never been loved, so it's kinda new to me, growing up alone and all. I never had anyone close enough to me to care.
