He was amused at how fast the boy got up and out of bed. Hadn't seen a kid move that fast in a long time. Thusly a chuckle and he follwed the boy downstairs to the kitchen area, going about pulling out some food items. "I'm single, not hopeless Zykariel." Whipping up some eggs and sausage then pretty quickly and setting a plate down in front of the boy along with some juice and toast. "I didn't get you too hung over did I?"

He wasn't surprised the boy went back for seconds, honestly. Whether it was the condition his body was in for racing or just because he was a growing boy, Nadai remembered eating that way when he was that age too. "I can imagine." Pregnant women were like that. But he gave a nod, "Yeah I ate. Got up early to check on Jin and give him a brush down and what not. Saw a mare outside, I believe she's your Destyny.

He followed the boy outside, like any good bacehlor leaving his dishes for later and such...he tried to do dishes once a day if possible and that was after dinner. "Old training technique." Wandering over to the little stable nearby he unlatched the gate to let the stallion prance out happily. Crouching down he picked up a hoof and inspected the horses lower leg. It was well once more, but he still liked to check right now. "You don't need to feed her, Jin was being chivilrous and shared his own with her." He really didn't have the means to feed two horses constantly so it was nice that his own was willing to pitch in.

Jin apparently wasn't too keen on strangers and he pulled his head away from Zykariel's hand a moment before snuffling at the boys palm, giving him a once over and such and then relaxing but still watching the boy. With Nadai holding his leg he really couldn't go too far now could he? A snort at the mention of the mare though as she was prancing before merely nuzzling at Zykariel's hand.

Nadai only laughed at that snort and let go of the horses leg, giving him a pat on the neck. "Well Jin has enough manners for her I think, besides he can forgive her this one time." Bracing his fists at his hips with a satisfied grin. "All better it seems. He's bearing weight on it just fine and his step is sure. And don't think I haven't seen you galloping and prancing around either, mister." Scratching at the horse's ears. "Your mother is a miracle worker when it comes to horses, I swear."

He gave a nicker at her nipping, stomping one back hoof lightly...what was with the nipping now? His ears perked inquisitively a moment towards Zykariel as he made with the petting though and ignored his own mare. Was that odd? Nadai never ignored him.

"She does her job good." Chuckling lighly even as he got a lick and his hair nipped, hooves being shuffled. "He's restless again...that mare of yours willing to let you ride her? You said you wanted to see me and Jin run and he wants to get at it. You'll want to keep up, he doesn't enjoy corral running."

A pat to Jin's neck before he went and fetched the horses's tack, gearing him up. It was rather fancy racing tack as well...the kind that was given out as prizes in prestigious races so the horses could prance around in it and feel all happy. The gold and silver scroll work was rahter dull and in need of shining and the leather could use a good oiling though. Still any racer would recognize championship prizes.

"She can mess all she wants." Pulling on a pair of riding gloves he adjusted the stirrups from their low position up to a much higher one. A lot of racers didn't ride the old racing style anymore. Nadai intended to if he was going to let Jin show off. Mounting up his knees were practically up in line with the crest of Jin's shoulders. Looked uncomfortable and was, but there was a fix for that. "Alright then, Jin let's head out."

The horse gave a nicker and started out at a trot, making sure the mare was keeping up as they headed out to open flatter ground. "You wait here and have a nice watch, or you can try to keep up. Come on Jin, run like you mean it." Giving the horse a little encouraging noise whom only took off right into neck break speed. One would assume that was as fast as any horse could go...until Nadai shifted his weight forward. He wasn't even sitting on the saddle anymore, instead his body was close down along Jin's neck and all his weight was braced into his knees, and thus downward onto the stirrups with comfort seeing as his stirrups were so high. And with that motion, Jin's own speed increased with a few quick strides.

A slight look over his shoulder and he was quite impressed at the mare's attempt to keep up with them and even try to get into stride. But he knew it would be a rather grand stress to do so...that was the trick to the riding style. However as she managed to actually get into speed with him, he changed his position, dropping back into the saddle and reaching over to grab Destyny's reins just above her nose on the side. "Whoa there girl." Forcing the mare to slow just as Jin was indeed slowing down his speed since he knew what position shifting meant.

A look to Zykariel as they came to a stop though and he nodded to the horses. "You notice the difference Zykariel?" Yes Jin's breathing was a bit up but he was nowhere near as worn as Destyny or in the state she was in. In his opinion, Zykariel had let her have her own way in the wrong manner at this. Nightmares were competitive and it could get them killed and end a racing career.
