Alec placed her down in the pool, knowing she wouldn't stay afloat long.
Kari flailed, trying to keep her head up.
"G-Ga.... g....... gaku?"

Gaku kept running, by the time he got to the pool Alec was long gone but he grabbed Kari from the water and pulled her out. "Kari!" He got her out and hugged her close but gently, scared he almost lost her.

Kari looked up at him weakly.
'Y-you came?" She was soaked, starved, beaten, bruised, and battered. "I.... didn't think...." she hugged him as tight as she could.

Gaku smiled and lifted her in his arms to carry away, he kept her close to give her some warmth and keep her calm. "Yeah...I couldn't find you before..."

Kari smiled a little.
"I-Ironic..." She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes, quickly faliing asleep, pressing close to his warmth because she was freezing.

Gaku got back to the hospital and set her on a bed, kissing her forehead before doctors rushed to heal her and get her warm but he still held her hand.

Iso was sitting outside, staring blankly at the sunset. She was so .. bored. Javian was sleeping and Malinka and Kalinka were going ever strategy, but her? No, she was shoo'ed out. Dammit! Some times Kalinka actually forgot she was twenty something! She picked at her nails, trying to think of a way to turn her back.

Javian couldn't sleep, he missed Nanita so much! He missed Kari and...he missed ayame(sono's old friend? forgot name) but he bet she forgot about him. He walked down the stairs rubbing at one eye and holding a teddy that Malinka gave him, sitting by Iso and yawning.

Iso looked at him.
"Hello Javian, can't sleep?" Her face was blank, she had lost all of her emotions when she was locked up. It would take a lot to surface those emotions.

Javian nodded and leaned on her to get comfortable. "I miss my fwiends and my sister..." He hugged the teddy bear tight as possible, he felt...alone without nanita or Kari, but Malinka acted like a father he never had.

Iso stroked his hair.
"I know, I'm sorry about that, but to be strong you have to focus on your training... how did your training to day go?" Her voice was soft, she did care for Javian she just didn't know she did.

Javian closed his closed his eyes, he felt safe when his hair was stroked. "Malinka taught me how to be calm while fighting...I did weally well!" He smiled and opened his eyes at her, he still didn't know Malinka was his dad yet so he called him by his name.

Iso gave the tiniest hint of a smile.
"That's good, it's always good to stay calm, especially when fighting." she looked up at the sky, thinking a bit. There was that yank at her heart, what was that? She shook it off and continued to stroke his hair.

Javian nodded and snuggled close to her. "He says tomorrow I wearn how to use a weapon! I get to pick it out too!" He sounded excited for tht because he wasn't a sword user.
