Cobalt Disturbing Tale Teller Goosey-chan is looking for a Double Bass solo peice she can play for her audition into the Tucson Youth Philharmonic for this year ninja I'm not sure what kinds of things are on the excerpt list for orchestra auditions, but what about "The Elephant" from Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals? :3 I need to get a recording of the whole thing.... There is no real spacific peice list for you to choose from for auditions. You pick a solo several months, or something, before the audition and practice it then, then play it for them at the audition. Then, you have to sightread a few parts of peices the orchestra is going to play that semester. I was lucky, last time... they needed 8 bass's, and 8 bass's auditioned... I might not be so lucky, this year, but then again, I plan on getting in, reguardless...

That's what I'm doing now; but sadly, they all seem full or are extremely long, and would take me days to catch up.

Xeroxer - I know that the exchange is a lovely place, and an incredible resource for getting gold. It just takes time and effort I don't have to spare. xp
Glad to have you here Musica. Do you know Octavia and Allegra? (okay, bad reference) As for Yaoi/Romance, I haven't seen much in the way of that, but then again, we are certainly not against it either. 3nodding

Yesh ^_^ Teh Pansa is my protege! I've decided that running both galvan and vampire will take lots and lots of time, which is not a luxury i have a ton of.
I decided since Pansa helped me so much for it, and is so freaking SMART and CREATIVE. She is going to run Galvan. She's in charge 100%. ^_^ I'm just relegated to helper now.
Not only because she's so awesome, but because i figured a full effort from her versus a half assed effort from me would be no contest ^_^ So she's in charge of galvan, and I'm gonna run vampire.
Pansa's gonna rawk Galvan!
