hatredsonly Saoshyant hatredsonly Well.. I have mine posted... but the power isn't quite what i want it to be. I mean she can shape shift into a dog, a panther and a crow, but it isnt magic, so i shouldn't call it were anything.. its a type of genetic mutation.. but I can't figure out what to call it... anyone gots any help for me? sweatdrop crying Well, if it's a total transformation into an animal, then it's zoomorphism. If it's a humanoid were-animal transformation, then it's anthropomorphism. If it's that second one, then you might want to reconsider your powers, as my Galvan character is also an anthropomorph, but he has a considerably greater range of transformation. Well it's both, she has a demi form of each, and then a true animal. But i think on your chara it was an imperfect copy? If she wanted to, she could stay in the form of her choice for the rest of her life.. though she would start thinking like that animal.. which would be bad >> Well, his transformations are only imperfect in that although he can alter his DNA to mimic that of an animal's, he'll always look somewhat humanoid (somewhat proportionate body parts, upright stance, clearly defined division between "arms" and "legs", etc). Basically, he's a were-everything. The fact that your character can become a true animal sets her far enough apart from mine, though, so it's all good.

Lycanthrope does not refer merely to lupine animals- it refers to one that is afflicted with Lycanthropy. The disease in which a person periodically changes into a different animal. cool

Actually, Talon ojii-san, I believe lycantrhopy does refer only to wolves and other lupine species. Therianthropy, by definition, refers to all classes of were transformations.
Done my research, minor as it is. I trust wikipedia and a few other key sites enough.

Thanks, Hatreds. You know, as far as past and present are concerned, you are pretty accurate. Note that I am not in the armed forces in any way, shape, or form (mostly, because I am only 16). All in all, my life looks grim, past present and future.
I agree, Talon. Shall we name her the RPR Official Fortune-Teller (sort of like how Pandali is the RPR Official Nicknamer)?
Navy blue, thoug most wouldn't think it, goes quite well with orange. Then again, what do I know/care about style or fashion.
I hope you get that character ironed out.

Poor, Sporky-chan. *comforts*
Well, Hatreds, it is a strecth, but how about "Feral Heredity" for the name of your powers?
Well, Hypno-chan, I know someone well who has that condition. It may be hard to play, but, for the most part, they don't exhibit sympoms constantly. It is actually occurs randomly and sporadically.
Pie is correct.

Hmm would that extend to willful changing, or only sun/moon time kind of changes??
And I think lycan is like latin or something for canine, not sure.
Yoderder your so funny whee But yea, I didn't knwo you were 16 until this after noon so blaugh
And that was only a glimpse Yoder-sama, that could be one day in yoru past, one day in your present. If you want me to do a fuller version of it I would need a couple days to put it together because I have to draw like.. 18 times the amount of cards I drew before.
Thank you shadow-sama, it helped. But I think I'm looking for something a little more genetic, or would it apply?

"Lupin" is the latin word for "wolf".
I guess "feral hereditity" doesn't quite fit, right?
True, everything happens in a day, and every day has its mood, but still, it does seem to be a generalized projection. Maybe that was just my interpertation of what you said.

Disturbing Tale Teller Goosey-chan is looking for a Double Bass solo peice she can play for her audition into the Tucson Youth Philharmonic for this year ninja I'm not sure what kinds of things are on the excerpt list for orchestra auditions, but what about "The Elephant" from Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals? :3 I need to get a recording of the whole thing....
