I get that feeling sometimes..
I feel very optimistic right now, though (:
I'm happy with my life.
Despite all the bull, I know my life is alright.
I've been through terrible things, but there are also the good things.
I'm happy that I have a roof over my head.
I'm happy that I have a full belly.
I'm happy that I have people that care about me.
I'm just very appreciative at the moment.

That's an awesome way to look at things. I've been the uber pessimist for a while. Now that I know I'll be blind before my birthday, I've fallen back into depression. Life's just to hard on me to really see the things I need to be thankful for.
