Lamb of God27 So many neat things.. so many over priced! So many as in all of them. Seriously, I nearly get an eye tic when I see an item worth maybe 4,800 listed for over 10 million.

But as far as I'm concerned the Canteen is in your capable hands - do what you will with it. xd Just tell me what I can do to help make it happen. This is how my mind sometimes sees things ^.^ rofl This does not surprise me. xd Sounds like your sister has some tough choices to make. She's lucky to have a big brother like you to be there for her. My sister has always been ... strong ... that's the nice way of putting it, but I guess the pregnancy has her hormones in over drive. She's just plain mean sometimes. Shes like an angry little person ^.^ . Seriously I stop and ask her why she's so mad and not to take it out on me, I'm just her brother not the baby's father lol. Still, I find myself doing things for her like making sure food is the way she likes, and making sure smells are ok with her and getting drinks the way she likes them. I stop at foot rubs though, she is only my sister after all lol. If Onee-chan ever got pregnant, I would do foot rubs, but none of the rest as I don't know how. heh

Yay, we got out first snow last night and it was still on the ground during the whole day! heart
About the RIGS: not so yay. The rigs are so quickly overpriced in the markets that it's really taking the fun out of the items in general. I haven't bought new stuff in ages mostly because I just can't afford the prices these days and also because there is so much stuff that you can't really make your mind what to buy.

I have a theory on the RIGs. It's pessimistic though.
Gaia's business model now is based on the idea of "Let's do stupid crap instead of make a lot more money, because we might fold at any second."
Gaia does not operate with the idea of making as much money as they can, they, like most internet companies these days, operate with the idea of making money quickly. They are not planning to be here next year or next month or even next week. The events, the RIGs, and everything else is testament to that. It's all about encouraging sales in the very short run with huge bursts of purchasing. Then, if they survive a little while longer, they do it again and again. And it is not like they can go back and undo it, this is a one way road.
It's understandable when you consider the market for your product might evaporate in a heartbeat.
This is part of why so many requests and calls for repairs go unheeded, long-term things are not part of their agenda now and they only release the bare minimum of other things like gold shop items to keep what they can of the user base settled. They like people to not speak up enough to scare off new people or just spend their money and GTFO. It's a question of getting as much money in quickly rather than more money over time. Gold shop items take a very long time to show a recoup, largely from cash sales and exposure, and when you're operating on the assumption that you might shut down the site in the immediate future, you're not going to think of supplying or fixing gold shop items that won't recover their development costs for 2 years. They might exist for decades more, but they're planning week to week.
This whole financial disaster and their being in the bay area does not help matters. It's made gaia something of a ticking time bomb for closing down or even insolvency.

@exxos Yeah I agree. You bring up an interesting point though. If they moved out of the bay area to an area that was more economically stable and less volatile how would things be? To me Gaia is becoming as bad as a bunch of lawyers. Still, I love you guys and I can let things slide as long as you all are here. ^.^

I was following it a bit, but then I saw the length of the list and thought it was a might too complicated. If all those ghost's have a different badass item and it is all easy, I might be okay with it. But really, I just want something enjoyable for an event for once in ages.
