I know how you feel Ichigo-san 3nodding I've been waiting for probably nearly a month for one person to post in a roleplay.. and when that person told me she didn't know what to post, i went back and edited my post.. and then she dissapeared again!.
and i really really want to roleplay!

Ai I know, one of my rp partners is moving, so my vampire is all alone without his lover .___. He's starting to get mad...
I might make another character right now because I found an awesome picture and I want to use it :3

I'm attempting to get inspiration to draw more characters of my own..
but i'm not having any luck.. i half finished one of my older drawings.... of a mermaid.. it sucks.. except for the hair. which looks awesome!! 3nodding but i think everything else is anatomically incorrect.. so I give up.. I might redraw the basic body shape and then transfer the hair over to the new drawing .. but I don't know.
I've been running out of ideas for my own characters, which is why i've been hoping for commisions in my art shop here, to maybe inspire my own ideas. but i haven't had a single one. so i'm outta luck.

I just made a character purely based on an awesome picture. Her name in Geist and she can listen to spirits on the wings of ravens and speak to them through her violin :3 I can't draw at all, I steal the awesome drawings of other people on DVart xD, but I greatly admire people who can.

I could never steal someone else's art and use it as a picture for a character of my own
1. Because it's stealing. Stealing = bad! and should not be done
2. The character wouldn't feel like it was entirely mine.
mostly because the stealing thing is wrong though. 3nodding

Not stealing, just using it. I would never try to pass it as my own or anything like that. I just use it for my profile pictures x3

For me, i'd consider it a form of stealing, I'm not exactly sure how i'd explain that.
But to me any form of using a picture that is not yours or you don't have permission from the owner to use, is stealing art.

But then you could argue that the definition of stealing is the act of taking something of monetary value, which most pictured on DVart aren't. But lets not get into the philosophy of that shall we? :3
Ok...I made and rp character.....so now I have to post and wait for someone to take pity and rp with me xD

because i'm an artist and if someone used my art without my permission i would be very upset.
not that my art is steal-worthy but that's not really the point.
....and besides stealing is against the law.. so yeah...
