i agree. though i wish they would of explored his background in the prequels.

Yoda is 900 years old when he dies.
Theres no way anyone can cover that much history in a movie.
Besides, Lucas is very restrictive on what can be written about Yoda.

Cale Darksun Yoda is 900 years old when he dies. Theres no way anyone can cover that much history in a movie. Besides, Lucas is very restrictive on what can be written about Yoda. i know. yet a little more history on him would of been great. maybe at least a flashback of his homeworld & his jedi training.

Thats why it wasnt included. Flashing back to Yoda's Past would have no effect on the two main characters.
Besides, if they never did a flashback before, then why do it now?
