myth stopped juggling, putting five of the seven crystals away, forming two into a small telescope to observe the ice. "black ice often occurs when it's been covered in dirt or rock, but this is crystal clear black ice. unnatural by all means."the shifts the crystal telescope into a length of crystal rope with a hook at the end. "i'm going to scout ahead a bit. keep up if you can." he twirls the hook and rope, and sends it out to a nearby tree, hooking in deep,a nd pulling himself forward swiftly. he throws out his other hand, sending out a second crystal hook and string, pulling himself again, farther. repeating the process he is soon far down the road.
((yeah, this is my last active weekend.... with school starting up again, i gotta do homework, and might get a few posts a week... and rarely will i be on weekdays..))

(Awww...... Poor Mythie....... Yeah, that kind of stuff is a pain and a chore, but it may be worth it after you get it over with, I say.... mrgreen Hey, I was wondering, if you buy a lunar cowl(?), can it be used as a lunar cape?)

Time to take all this stuff and write a book. 4laugh ))myth stopped suddenly, grasping the branch with claws and hooks, the crystal strings wrapped around his wrists. he sent a message to cat. that?> he pointed down to a bloodied corpse, what had once been a fox. it's side cut open, and inners pulled out, organized on the ground beside it. half the skull cracked open and missing a limb. but that wasn't what myth was pointing at. standing over the massacre was an oily black creature. it's body heaved and oozed as it worked, taking the poor animal apart. it's crouching posture didn't give much form to it, triple jointed legs supported a misshapen, uneven body. quills protruded from it's back between leathery winglets. one of it's claws held seven long sharp fingers while the other was like a large club with only three stubs. looking up to check it's surroundings the beast had no face. he asked her mentally.

*urges the creatures onward, pausing them next to the others as she looks further for the oily beast* Hmm....... We are going to have to either bring the beast down or drive it far from here...... Ohhh, how could I let my home diminish so?...... sad But first, we must find the puzzle-paper's answer within the ice.... But how?.....
