"It has been a rather long day," Gunther agreed.
"Indeed, padawan," Kalnar said. "As soon as Lady Vera's lightsaber is complete, we should probably make haste for Aduba Three,"
"Indeed, Master," the boy said. I can't help but worry of Freya. Are the Sith after her, or ... ? He did feel mildly crestfallen, as Vera tended to be slightly colder to him. Did I do or say something wrong to her? he wondered.

((It is awfully convenient that Nelowulf's Star Destroyer has just shown up. And if you think I'm mistaken, then read his most recent post. He may not be here for you, But to Hiko, it seems that you've been tailed.)) "Defend what? The dead Galactic Alliance? The Broken Jedi Order? The Force which exists beyond your understanding of it's workings? You have nothing to defend, boy. Your pretentious attempt at being nonviolent just shows how immature you really are. Call me what you want, but it will not change the fact that you will never be a real Jedi. You care more for yourself than the Living Force around you, you judge all books by their cover, You demand things your own way, and you stubbornly refuse to learn anything. I'm not dying, these people do not follow me, and I only pray that my idiot apprentice finds you and slaps you around a few times so I can laugh as you lose to a Real Jedi."

"I will work as quickly as I can then," Vera said, standing up from the table. "I shall retire, so that I can continue building my lightsaber early tomorrow morning. Goodnight, everyone," she bowed and walked to the room now designated as the temporary "ladies' dorm".

"I shall do the same," Iria announced to the others. "Goodnight, everyone," she said, allowing her gaze to slightly linger on Gunther, a light flush to her features. "And, sweet dreams to you, Sir Gunther." she added in a sheepish, almost inaudible tone, before turning to follow Vera to their room.

Vera sat down on the lower bunk in the room and turned to smile at Iria. "Do you prefer the top or the bottom?" She smiled awkwardly. "Bunk, I mean," she added hastily.

"Either is fine," Iria cheerfully said, trying not to let any of her internal turmoil show. "Back on Coruscant, I was usually on the bottom bunk." she said absently.

"That suits me fine," Vera responded, climbing to the upper bunk. "I prefer being on top, anyway." As she began to lay down, she got an awkward smile on her face again. "Bunk, I mean," she added again.
Gripping the edge of the bed, she hung over it a little and faced her pgae. "Are you alright, dear?"

Iria looked up to Vera, trying her best to smile. "Mostly, yes," she said. However, her smile faded. "I guess you can say that I'm worried. I find myself questioning my life's true purpose." she sighed.
"Grown in a lab on Kamino, and then shipped to Coruscant, with a weapon put in my hand as soon as I had gained the dexterity to use one. Only once every great while, I would see a glimpse of a life beyond being a soldier, a weapon." She paused for a moment to let out another sigh. "In my free time, I would take in any cultural activities, such as dancing and music," she added.
Still, Iria felt it would do no good to talk further. With that, she decided to change the subject. "I have talked at length, Master." With a smile, she then asked, "How about you? What was your life like?"

Vera sighed, deep in thought. Remembering home was something she'd been putting off for what seemed like a very long time, but she realized the last time she really thought about her home planet was back on the star destroyer she narrowly escaped the destruction of. Ebony tootled curiously, obviously wishing to know the answer to Iria's question also.
"Well... I led a simple life. My parents died when I was very young, so I was raised by my village on a planet far, far away. When they realized my powers I was put in very high positions- for the village anyhow- and I had to help make important decisions. But other than that my life was normal... I had friends among just about everyone, and though I didn't participate in the arts, I read a lot of literature. i loved old holos and datafiles... an elder in town had an extensive archive, which he bequeathed to me. I could never have finished it all, though I tried very hard to do so. I found the datafiles on the Jedi most fascinating, and that was what led to my being self-taught."
She blushed, "I guess I was something of a prodigy, or so they told me, but really I was simply good at understanding what I read and watched." Her eyes grew distant, "All of that ended, however, when I left on a shuttle that endured a freak navicomputer malfunction and landed me in the middle of the Sith Imperial war. I was taken in by the Imperial Knights when they learned of my force sensitivity and continued the training that until then I had needed to do by myself." She cocked her head, "In a way it was fortunate that they could give me proper training. But learning to fight was something I never really needed to learn before. I approached it as I approached anything worth learning and dove into it, perhaps above all else. It was something completely foreign to me, and it was fascinating. Until I was taken in by the knights, I'd never even used my lightsaber to cut anything more alive than a piece of gulvus bark.
"Perhaps that was the Dark Side calling to me, even as early as my first few combat training sessions. The raw power it provides is exhilerating to say the least. I'm told that my fighting style is similar to those who brush close with the Dark, who walk the fine line balanced between the two sides of the force."
She breathed deeply. "But I digress. Now that I have answered your question, I think we should confront your current dilemma. Now first I must ask why you question your purpose. You are an Imperial Knight, you are sworn to uphold the duties implicit in that. And also you are a descendant of the honorable Mordranna Brunhildt, which should also inspire you to find purpose in following in her footsteps." Her features softened considerably, "And besides, you are my page, and it saddens me to see you in distress, my dear, dear Iria."

"You're right, master." Iria said with a mild sigh. Even so, she did smile at that, small as it was. "But, I wish to truly know more about Mordranna. Not just the warrior," she began. "But all of who she was. To that end, I would happily follow in her footsteps."
"Thus, I feel like my battle should mean something. Will you help me find that meaning?" she asked. "For that, once the battle is concluded, I should then like to be a healer, and bring joy and happiness to people."

Aboard an old Sorosuub Merchant Freighter, a slim young man with short, dark hair clad in spacer's tugs stacked and strapped down boxes for the trip to Coruscant. Behind him came a series of grunts and snorts which were quickly followed by a translation in the voice of some Holo Starlett the young man wasnt familiar with. "Cargo loaded?" The fellow turned around and nodded to the Gamorrean Sow. "Aye, Cap'n." he replied in an accent derivative of any of Old Rimward Corellian colonies. "We're ship shape and ready for launch." The Sow grunted her approval wich, though it wasnt necessary, was tranlated by the device the Gamorrean sow wore around her neck. "Good work, Nil. Nice to get such a hard worker on the ship for a change. Keep this up, and I might hire you on for another term." "Aye Cap'n. If ya don't need me for anything else, I'll be heading to my bunk so I can stow my kit." "Sure. But make sure you stick around. We're clear to depart in Half an hour." Knil nodded and strode off to make sure his equipment and gear were secure for lift off. It would be a shame if everything got tossed about his shared quarters.

((My apologies))
"Good bye, False Jedi Master," Journeyman took two steps away. "I will laugh when this colony is razed to the ground and all your precious colonists lie dead. Maybe the you will realize what it means to be a Jedi."
He looked over his shoulder one more time. "Until we meet again, enjoy a royal a** whooping from the Empire."

Red sits in the cockpit of his twintail starfighter just watching the stars go by as he heads to new adventures. His thoughts drift back to his last encounter with the Hutts. He narrowly escaped that day he remembers. A smile comes across his face.
"Beep boop bip!" Whistles out his droid interupting Red's thoughts.
Reds mind comes back to reality & sees what the droid is whistling about.
"R4 what do you make of that ship out there?"
The little droid whistles & chirps at Red.
"Can't get a good scan on her eh? Well then perhaps we should just go & investigate it R4."
R4-G4 just chirps out something similar to a sigh. The little droid knows how his master can be. Very reckless at times.

"Allright R4 keep the ship nice & steady. I'm going out & see what I can find out about this ship", Red tells his droid.
Preparing himself for a spacewalk Red opens the hatch & lets himself float out into the void. Using a small hand held thruster he stole from someone along time ago Red manuvers himself alongside the ship.
"I don't recognize the markings on it, yet something about it seems familiar."
He peers into the broken front view port & sees the remains of the crew. Not much left from the assault this ship appears to have been under Red notices.
