"I tried going just to eat their bread sticks and salad and the waiter told me I did have to buy something eventually. So I bought dessert to go." he said, stretching against the man and relaxing again. "Their salad is so delicious. It's better than anything else there." Where were his parents? He didn't want to keep Jason too long. "It's almost time for you to go, right?"

Rachel moved her body against Amanda's, the woman groaning into the hand. "Good. Update me once a week on his status or me and Amanda will be angry on your desk." and hung up, kissing her wife. They had to be quick.

"That relationship is hardly healthy. He lost a husband, Timothy's abused and beaten, they're both borderline on being empty husks, and misery loves company." he finished eating, setting the fork and knife down. "Too personal, I'm afraid, but I can have him live with someone else."

"They have good dessert too." Tim defended, enjoying the embrace, accepting it. "That's good. No point in going back to work early." He looked up, nuzzling the man's chin before pressing his chapped lips against it, quickly hiding his face downwards again.

"No one moves on from that, Daren, we merely learn to cope. You have." he stood, brushing his suit off. "I like you. We have many people like you, but I like you best. And because I like you, I will stop the media from any further slandering. I highly suggest, Daren, you do not leave the city." The face broke into a smile. "Thank you for lunch."

Timothy blushed, eyes turning away from the man at the question. "If, If you'd like." He murmured, giving the man a small nod as he looked back up at the sky blue eyes. "If you want."

"Well not being constantly hurt on your accord. Accidents happen. Andrew escaping was one, finding Tim was another, but you went and saved him rather quickly so that's good." he knocked on the door, hearing it unlock. "Oh you're nothing like him. That's like saying I'm like my father, and I certainly haven't shot any of my men." He opened the door, "Do what you will, but I imagine your sanity won't be coming along completely." and walked out humming to himself.

Tim kissed back, smiling thankfully at the other. "I, don't want to keep you away from your work. I'm sure they're on their way." he said, believing this. "So you go straight to work and help people, okay?" I'm a grown man, I can live without my mothers for a few minutes."

The short male stopped, watching a tanned man speed walk past him. "Daren?" He asked, stepping out of the hallway, "Ah, you're Tim's roommate right? Hey we met at the party!" and jogged forward to catch up. "I didn't know you were visiting. Which is weird police don't normally visit unless they're paying back their dues. Did you borrow money?" and walked beside him curiously.

Tim blushed lightly hearing the nurses knew him and Jason were dating. "All right. Thank you, Jason." That was embarrassing, he knew a good portion of nurses and now they all knew they were dating?

"Doctor Madison." Rachel greeted with a small nod, rolling a mint in her mouth before walking in. "Hey Tim. Sorry. We wanted to get you some jello." and held up the styrofoam bowl.

"Oh. Thanks. The lines must have been long."

"When people want something they're like vultures, hovering before grabbing." Amanda said

"Ah. That's what the poached chicken was for! That smelled good but he smacked my hands when he was cooking it." He stopped with Daren, looking down the halls. "I never use the front door, I use the elevator. I can show you the way there."

"But where's Daren?" He asked, Amanda moving his bed so he can sit up to eat his jello.

"he said he had stuff to do." Rachel responded simply, "So he headed home after telling us you were awake. Now you and that Doctor Madison." She wiggled her eyebrows a bit.

Oh. Why had Daren left, though? He wished he hadn't, and now he couldn't text the man because his cell phone was gone, no doubt its remains as evidence again. "Wh-What?"

"Oh we could see how buddy-buddy you two were when we walked in. He was all up against you like a puppy."

"Well Tim was curled against him like one as well."

Amanda gave a soft sigh. "I'm just worried you're getting into things too quickly. and he even offered you his place to stay."

"I'd rather stay in the hospital than anything." he admitted softly. "I wonder how long I can milk this."

"You shouldn't think that way. You'll be out of here and healthy before you know it."

"It doesn't matter who I move in with, Mom. Someone's bound to get hurt. If I stay here help is just a button press away."

"Yea. I mean you gotta be an idiot to use the front door. It's back this way." and turned around to walk to the elevator, "But yes. A garage is used! All of our super secret cars are parked there and when you press a button the wall turns into a bunch of guns!" he cheered, though he was lying, hopefully.

"I'm not a kid, Daren." Andy said making a face. "Hey! You want to come over to my place to see if it's a good place to live! Boss is looking for somewhere to put him and since Tim and I are good friends I figured if I got your permission he'd let me do it more!" and looked at the taller man with bright glittery eyes. "After all I owe Timothy! This would be the best way to repay him back for his kindness! Kindness for kindness!"
