Voss - battlegroundsCorvin watched the proceedings unfold, warring within himself all the while. He was never the calm one in these situations, but these were his friends fighting among themselves. "All you will do is take my place when I die." Locolvictum's words rang in his head. Elyria was dangerously succumbing to her rage, but something about the way she looked at him when she gave him the helmet led him to believe there may still be hope... if she wasn't forced to make the final blow. "You chose wrong, Vic..." he called out to his old friend, and hurled his saber with lethal force - not whirling like a boomerang, but straight as an arrow. He had no intention of the blade returning to him, as he'd taken plenty to replace it from the Gormak Armory. He just wanted this over quickly so that he wouldn't loose the Sith girl. The throw went wide, but he was gone long before it would ever have reached it's mark. She'd vanished... maybe the Force Cloak ability wasn't as rare as he'd been led to believe... or perhaps it was only rare in Je'daii. Whatever the case, he knew enough about it that following her Force Signature was a lost cause. The trail of blood her wounds left on the ground, however, led straight toward a great Cyber Beast which was kneeling for a rider none could see. Corvin vanished. The force propelled him along the grass so quickly that it seemed a gust of wind had moved with deliberate purpose, and soon his free arm was around the invisible girl upon her mighty steed, the cloak useless against his sense of touch. "Not so fast..." he said, his voice muffled by his helmet so that he could hold Mesh'la's helm in his off hand. "We still have work to do." The girl was a mind reader... no doubt she could sense his intentions. He wouldn't let Elyria finish Vic, even if he had to stop her. Even if he had to do it himself.

Voss - BattlegroundWhen Corvin found her Zara made no attempts to conceal her physical form through use of the Force anymore. She opened her eyes slowly, barely able to tell who it was who was speaking with her as her vision was blurred. She was losing consciousness fast. She wondered why he had gone after her, and then she remembered vaguely what Locolvictum had said, though at the time she had paid no notice to him, assuming he was lying... "Everyone here can hear you!"Had the two Je'daii been listening in on her own thoughts when she told Locolvictum he had betrayed the Emperor? She learned early on in her days at the temple to block out her telepathic conversations from nosy Sith who decided they wanted to listen in. Telepathy being her only method of communication she had to do everything she could to perfect it. But the woman was a temple master and could easily break through her mental barriers if she made an effort and the man... well, she wasn't sure of his rank, but he was obviously no weakling when it came to the Force... what did he mean when he said that they still had work to do? Had he come to execute her? Take her away to a holding cell? Interrogate her? What... do you still want...? You wish to kill me, go ahead. I don't want to fight anymore. I'm... tired... she looked up at him blearily through squinted eyes, her features even more pale than usual. She was slipping, this was apparent when she took a sharp breath and closed her eyes, the weight of her eyelids being too heavy to keep them open.

Elyria watched as the saber flew..fast and true towards Vic..with a Force so powerful it would pierce even his beskar if it made its target..when it veered off...she smiled "Corvin" he could never hurt a friend..try as he might...a self-proclaimed scoundrel..his heart was as big as the Galaxy....thoughts whirled through her head..faces...friendships..she felt the aura around her grow lighter..she felt her balance return...whether he realized it or not..Corvin had indeed protected her...saved her.... Now that she no longer had to fear that Corvin's chivalry would put him in danger, she faced Vic with a renewed sense of purpose..it was War, yes, he was by all rights..the enemy...she thought of grandfather..of Mesh'la and Dash..she knew she could not kill him..but if forced to she would need to incapacitate him..to bring him to the brink of death in order to keep the madness at bay...perhaps the scholars at Kaleth could find a way...... "Vic..ner'vod...Aliit ori'shya tal'din...it is a bond between those who have touched the hearts of one another...I came to love grandfather...your father...I will never understand him...but the love I saw between Mesh'la and Dash is something I will never forget...it was the madness that destroyed them...don't let it destroy you too...we have the greatest healers...the greatest minds at our disposal..can we not find another way? the Je'daii...the Gormak..we have driven all the Emperor's ground forces back..it is just you and I on this field of blood and death..... If you do indeed have a child..do you truly want to leave her to suffer the fate you have suffered?...I have suffered? Do you truly wish to leave her alone in this world of discord? I will gladly hand you this armor..the Council will never allow me to release the Temple...but you can have this...your inheritance...for her...we were friends once..can we not be friends again..?((Don't listen to her. How many times do I have to tell you guys... Canis Solo Temple Shields 55 / Hull integrity 200 Canis felt the ship shake as an other salvo hit the ‘Light’s Shield and sighed, ”Report.” He had a feeling what it was going to be but he could hope for better. The sith ship had seemed to pick itself back up from the momentary lapse but he was wondering if his crew could do the same.”Sir, shields are at 18 percent and falling. Circuits all over the starboard side of the ship are bursting open and we have reposts of injuries starting to flood in.” A crew man spoke telling Canis what was going on. Canis sighed when he heard the crewmen’s words. He was hoping that this was going to be an easy fight for him and that they would show the sith just where to go. ”Lets see if we can land a good hit on them. Fire heavy turbos.” He ordered as he sat down in the chair for the first time during the fight, And may the force please guide the blasts to their targets’ He payed in thought.
The Light's Shields fighters took the sith bait and flew past them, only to discard an other layer of heavy armour in their path to follow, giving them enough time to come around and make it an even one v one match while the point defensive laser still did their best to hammer the sith fighters.Never tell me the odds. ((You can take the first one... though I would rather you take on that hits! XD If you can post that many, I reckoned I should do it once too, haha. ))

Voss - Gormak Command Center.
"Sith spit." the zeltron muttered watching the blips resonating the life signs of the Jeda'ii. The one that he had designated for zara was getting incredibly low while for the most part the remainder of the order was still strong. "They are letting her die because she was with the sith, they do not trust her? Damn it she is part of the crew, and I'm not about to let my crew die on my watch, not again!" he slammed his onto the console and started to make his way out of the building. His eyes fell on his ship, it had more than enough fire power to level anything he had seen on the ground, but he shook his head this was nearly personal. The pirate was well armed, but not quite well enough to fight off a sith but that was of little importance to him now, he made his way to the gates where he saw one of the masters, the togruta who had placed his faith in them. He looked no worse of for wear which may have agitated the zeltron more if he didn't have such a conflicted look on his face. His eye twitched and he could feel the anger starting to radiate off of him he wanted to just storm off but the man turned around with a strange look on his face.

My destiny is to be killed. Rage and madness are my sickness! It never was a choice, nor will it ever be for my children. We are dammed to die! For that is the only cure!"Locolvictum then connected the base of his to lightsabers together to make a dual-bladed lightsaber. He then twirled it once and got back into fight posture. He was prepared to die, Locolvictum had already been at peace with himself. But in any context, he would never be happy.

"Another misfire? I'm beginning to think we've taken their weapon systems out entirely. And here I was hoping for a challenge. Fire the Heavy turbolasers at their shield generators. I want them offline permanently, fire the light turbolasers at their launch bays. I want to try and draw some fire away from Crimson Squadron."
Mi'qote nodded and sent the orders out to the gunners.
"Admiral i'm getting word from the engineers that the lasers have overheated. It'll take a few minutes for them to become usable again."
"Very well. Let the Je'daii squirm for a few minutes more. Their deaths will come in time."

Slowly she disengaged her lightsaber and placed it in her holster, straightening Perhaps all you say is true..but it won't be today...it won't be by my hand... sweeping her hand and turning around the area look around you...this battle is over...there is no one left but you..and me...I fight to protect...there is no one left to protect...except...maybe....you... I am..done She turned her back on him then and started walking back towards Gorma-Koss, she felt his eyes on her back...she knew he could come at her at any moment...but she did not care...she would be ready if need be.......

fallenjedi1191 425 "their shots are sporatic. Focus on the damaged points. I want to see stars through that ship." the shots from the Corruo weren't enough to penetrate the regaining shields of the Mace Windu, whose chief engineer was hard at work keeping the ship in the sky.
