Tasn Zheng Jennivieve I think I'm too detailed-oriented to read fanfics. I've been reading one for the Dresden Files which seems to be pretty decent. The style's off from that of canon, and the author needs to work on grammar, but it's a tale that I can definitely see fitting into the series. There's only one problem. The series takes place in Chicago. Now, the author of the fanfic is trying to tell me that Lake Michigan is west of the City. Now, anyone who knows anything about US geography, let alone a lifelong resident of the area, knows that the Lake is east of the City. XD I get that nitpicky as well with the series I like. I find it rather depressing when a story can be ruined somewhat by details like that. Oh, good, it's not just me then.

Nah. I am the exact same with series I obsess over. It's the sign of a true fan or crazy person. Depends on how you view it.
