The waiter whimpered a little and dropped the cake on the ground. Lena looked at the splattered cake and frowned. "There goes your Father's Day gift." she mumbled.

he looked at the cake and laughed. "five second rule!" he said and picked it up with the plate, eating a piece "eh, it aint that bad"

Lena stared at him for a long time. "I don't know if I should be freaked out by the zombies, or by what you just did." she laughed.

She laughed and ruffled his hair. "You've got, like, a year to wait." she said and lit up when the waiter came back with the cake. "Happy Father's Day!" she said and kissed his cheek.

She laughed and wrapped up a few slices of cake for all of her other friends. "No problem." she said then nudged his arm. "So? How's it feel being a dad on Father's Day?" she asked.

"Well you're always important to me." Lena teased then looked at the cake. "Why don't you go give your dad a call, or something?" she asked and looked back at him. "Y'know, tell him Happy Father's Day."

he nodded. "good idea." and called up his dad. after a quick conversation and Happy Father's Day, he hung up smiling. "i was the first to do that, he said. oh, and he said hi"

"Soooooo what is your dad anyway?" she asked and took a bite out of her slice of cake then made a face. Ugh, so much icing!
