When the rude girl had mentioned buying her, Aiko couldn't help but shudder, though it didn't show as much through her kimono. The idea was horrifying. A thought of rebellion had never once crossed the young kitsune's mind, but at that moment, it did. What would she do, if this girl made good on her threat? No, no... she was just bluffing... right? When the incubus came over, and even started defending her, Aiko breathed a sigh of relief, lowering her fan so that only her mouth was concealed. Whether it was because he was possessive or because he actually cared about her feelings didn't matter. He was protecting her. Her bushy tail curled up around her as she watched the exchange between the two masters. She couldn't quite tell if they were fighting or not, after the girl (apparently) complimented him. One ear still lowered, she perked the other one up, a look of confusion mixed with concern painting her features.
She made a note of her fellow slave's brave defense of her, and nodded towards her, hoping she would understand why she was not speaking her thanks.

Stary nodded, understanding why she didn't speak her thanks when Akio nodded. "I'm here if you need me." She mouth when the two had there backs turned to them. She would be there for her until the point where she knew she would be safe, and she still would be her firend.

((By all means! Maybe my demon brothers will scoop them up! ;D))

Lilith's eye twitched when he not only seemed please at what she said but took it as a compliment, but her face remained pleasant. That was NOT the reaction she was expecting. Keeping her outward expression calm, she replied, "Too bad. I coulda used a cute slave around the house." Then jerked upright.

"Just like this one!" she exclaimed looking at the kitsune like she just saw her for the first time.

Stary hid back her laughter with a sniker. "Way to go!" She mouth to her, glad she stood up forherself. She was right, almost anyone would be better off then with that brat. Smiling she sat back in her cage, watching the fireworks between the two. She watched as deep inside... she hoped that the brat wouldn't buy Akio.... she deserved much better then her and she would gladly take her place if that brat bought Akio. She wouldn't let that brat hurt someone like her friend.

Stary had just about enough of this brat. "Leave her alone brat! Go find yourself another pet who's not already been picked!" Stary yelled, her hidden agner coming out again. She knew she was going to catch hell for it but when you mess with her firends you get the point end of the bull's horns. She wouldn't back down and she wouldn't put up with this. "Can't you tell? or are you that blind?"

Aiko decided that her cause would best be served by ignoring that last remark and hoping for the best. She was more than content to not cause any further trouble, and hopefully her incubus master (whom, mentally, she already called him by) would not let the girl take her. Out of pride, if nothing else. When her friend started barking at the brat girl, she moved her eyes to her, barely shaking her head in a 'no, don't!' gesture. She wanted the masters to bicker among themselves, not the slaves! Masters were on equal terms, but slaves were easily compromised. As the genie floated over and winked at her, Aiko couldn't help but blush and giggle a bit, despite the dire situation. She was pretty, after all.

Lilith couldn't have picked a better place. Even a nearby slave was making her anger heard, shouting at her from their cage. "Well, I see an unclaimed slave just asking for punishment, so why don't you tell me." she replied to the girls question.

Looking up at the genie she said with a smile, "Well, look who's outta their bottle! And I, dear wish-granter, am a strife elemental." Then tapped the metal ears on her head. "I just thought they were cute!" she exclaim happily.
