Alternatively.
What would people think about us setting up an official HOT in the public forums? Would that be better attended?

While I admit that part of the problem is not being able to subscribe to the thread, I don't see why people can't just check the post count through the My Guild page. That's what I do.
But if you want to try moving it somewhere else, go ahead. But if you do, I would reccomend keeping this one around for a while before getting rid of it, just in case.

Its not really something i *believe* is necessary. I mean, this thread used to be very active. And as we move back into an 'active' GaiaCast mode and start a few new projects that I hope will direct people towards the guild it will hopefully pick up here. The goal in running a HOT is to encourage people to Hang Out - to start conversations and have fun. The Feast of the Righteous Podcast is just about 2 months away, and we will be orchestrating a number of events and parties surrounding that - so we should hopefully be doing some good work to encourage activity in the guild again. =)
