Raquel blushed taking his arm in hers, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Ready." She replied with a nod, heading towards the door.
Richard blushed but kissed her forehead as she fussed over him. "I'm fine ok? You did a lovely job with this old coat. We're all ready so lets go." He smiled, leading her towards the door.

Once they were home, Lorey announced that she was hungry, and went to the kitchen to take care of that. She believed some chicken with a side of salsa would be lovely, along with a nice ice-cold soda. Then, a nap. Her day had gone so well that she was determined to make the rest of it good, too.
Damian, though, had been trying to catch a quiet moment with Raquel alone to talk about her education. He wanted to see her achieve her dreams... but she seemed willing to let them go, and that disturbed him more than anything.

Richard joined his love in the kitchen soon after dropping off the wedding bans in her bedroom for safekeeping.
Raquel followed suit, going to her own room to hang up her bridesmaids dress, as well as stash away the lingerie. "Oh I can't wait to wear this... It really is pretty and its about the same color as some of the parts on Lorey's dress." She held up the lovely fabric for him to see quickly, not wanting to spoil the surprise too much before hanging it up in her closet. She then came out, still smiling casually, taking a seat on the bed to take off her boots. "The last time I wore something like this, it was thigh high...and was about all I was wearing." She smirked, shaking her head as she looked up to Damian with a coy smile.

As Lorey waited for her chicken to cook in the appliance, she went over to Richard and begged for a kiss. A sweet kiss, not like the one she had bestowed upon him in public for the sake of embarrassing him out of his skin. "Richard, you're amazing, and I love you." Her eyes held truth that she hoped he saw as she looked up at him. They were alone, and could be as disgustingly cute as they wanted to be.
Damian smirked a little and nodded his head. But once the moment passed, he knelt down in front of her on the floor, and took her hands in his. "Raquel," he began. "We have so much time to get a house and get married... but we shouldn't have to wait forever to see your dreams come true. And I want you to make your dreams come true, darling. More than anything." It would break his heart if she dropped anything just because he wanted to move to Druis. Hopefully, he thought, that would show somehow as he knelt before her.

Richard laughed and coddled over her as he held her close. "And I love you, though I must admit, you drive me so incredibly mad, its horrible..." He laughed, shaking his head as he kissed her back.
Raquel's smile faded. He was still stuck on her not going to art school. She looked down at his hands holding hers, sighing softly, trying to put her thoughts together. "Darling..." She began, taking it slow. "My dreams are coming true." She squeezed his hand a little. "Right here... This... This is coming true..." She knew he wouldn't be satisfied with that. "Damian... Don't tell me that I haven't. I know what my dreams are because... well frankly, I had none." She furrowed her brow.
"Growing up, my only long term goals I had for myself were...well to get away. To escape. If that meant making something of myself, leaving this god forsaken planet or ..."She didn't say the last part, not wanting to go to such a place now. It was something she'd never consider ever again and hoped Damian knew that. "Surviving. That was the dream of most people from where I'm from. It was that low down..." Her eyes deterred as she swallowed slightly, feeling for those who she called friends who were probably dead or killing someone at that moment.
"But Damian...You've helped me grow past that. I'm not just surviving, I'm living. I'm living a life I had never even fathomed I could someday, somehow have... it just wasn't realistic." She looked back to his silvery eyes. "My music 'career' was just a way to get by on the side. And I wanted to improve on it... for many reasons. One main one was so I could... I could feel some purpose... if you ever decided we shouldn't be together..." Her eyes dropped again, feeling slightly ashamed. She did admit she did want the education if just for herself, but not badly enough to surpass over the other many reasons. But for some reason, she suddenly felt guilty about her last phrase, not sure why though.

Lorey blushed just a bit. "I'm sorry. I just know that I'm yours and you're mine, and... and that I love you. What woman on Veratia has ever had to hear that her fiance wants to wait?" she laughed. But Lorey adored him for it. He was strange alright, but in an honorable way that gave her time.
"But, darling, the books... your dreams, you wanted this so badly. I will always be here, but this is a chance you have to take now or regret not doing. Maybe online courses will work when we're on Druis, but it won't be the same as being on a real campus. I just..." Damian moved on the bed so that he wasn't standing on his bad knee. The cane was an accessory he did actually need, but he'd left it at the front of the house.
"I just don't want you thinking that I'm worth giving it up, or something."

Richard gave her an uncomfortable smiled, tough slid his arms away for a moment. He seemed to think, before picking her up and scooting her on top of the counter. "Do... Do you not... I mean... If you dont want that... We can..." he furrowed his brow, but looked her in the eye, wanting her to be happy. If she was the least bit unhappy with him about his decision in waiting, he'd take it back.
Raquel reached out to touch his face, her own solemn. But you are... She wouldn't tell him that though. She looked down a bit, not sure of what to think. "...do..Do you still want to marry me?" She asked naively, though she knew very well. She was just having trouble with this. This had never happened to her before. Usually, when a decision was laid out before her, it was only set out as a way for whatever manse was with to manipulate her. 'you can leave, or you can take your beating', 'you can do as I say, or i'll pack my bags'. and many more. She knew Damian wasn't like that, she had just never had a choice of anything in her entire life. The first taste of making her own mind up was when Damian told her she could say no to him if she wanted when it came to sex. What made it harder, was that this decision in front of her now, held two equally amazing opportunities. She just wasn't sure what she wanted more. She was almsot afraid to let go of Damian, she knew he wouldn't leave, but she wasn't sure why she should go to school, if she wouldn't need it later. It was all very confusing and hard for her, and she hoped Damian could see that.

Lorey was red and starting to get her nervous laughter in her throat again, but she tried her best to look at him and be calm. "Richard, before, when I said I wanted to wait? I knew I didn't want to be like my mother. But she was young, and poor, and not engaged until the last minute. And I know that you would never leave me, or use me, or do anything that would make me miserable."
This was Lorey's final conclusion on the matter. She was not, and never would be like, her mother, and no longer had to try so hard to make things work. "I know I'm not like her now. But... you were the one who had really good reasons, too, so... honestly?" Lorey stopped again to get a nervous laugh out before looking back up at him without fear or doubts. "It's your call now. I know you're the man of my dreams, and I'll be with you forever." The wedding bands and he himself had said so.
"Of course I do. And I want to be here for you, through everything. You can go to school, and we can move to Druis after you're done with everything you want to do. Raquel, this can work." Damian took her hands in his one more time to give them another squeeze. "Just tell me what it is you want."

Richard furrowed his brow, and backed away for a moment, thinking. He even started to pace just slightly, his mind racked full with various thoughts. "Lorey..." He'd start but shook his head again. Part of him just wanted to take her away and just get it over with. These frustrations and desires were eating at him. But at the same time, He wanted to wait, if into more for himself. He wanted to feel like he had done it right, even if Lorey wanted to before hand. He also wanted to know how it'd feel to keep with tradition. How much more they would both enjoy they're first time together, after they are just wed. It had always been like a dream to him, that arrangement, though never got to experience it... Ye his hormones were whacked out as much as a teenage boy. He hadn't 'been' with a woman since Rose... Maybe thats why he wanted to get married first. He'd feel like he finally moved past her. Instead of just sleeping with some random woman like he had been tempted in the past. He'd be sleeping with his new wife...
Even after all this, Richard still didn't know what to do, leaning agaisnt the back wall, rubbing his face with one hand.
Raquel too was having difficulties with her thoughts. She rubbed her forehead with one hand, keeping the other with his still. "Damian... I dont... I don't know." She shook her head, looking defeated with herself. "The idea of going to school terrifies me to no end, you jsut dont know..." She closed her eyes a moment and sighed. "But so does marriage, but I want it so bad.." She squeezed his hand, looking down at her ring again, just not sure what to think. She looked him in the eyes, utterly lost. "Damian...I really just don't know what to do here." She answered finally, resting her head on his shoulder. "I dont know whats best for me, I'm not sure of everything I want or need. The only thing I'm sure of is that i want and need is you. Thats all, and I thought thats all that'd matter by now..." She furrowed her brow. "I mean, I had forgotten all about school when you proposed. I jsut... It didn't seem important you know?" She nuzzled into him, getting a slight headache.

Lorey watched him. With all the excitement, she'd forgotten most of his feeling about having a new wife. She was his second chance, and while she'd talked about it all with Raquel, now more than ever she saw what it did to him. He'd already told her what he wanted, and she was going against that. "Richard, if you want to wait and feel right about everything, then that's what we'll do. Maybe some tradition is good for us after the whirlwind we've been through." She still sat upon the counter and watched him in a calm way. Anything that happened would be fine with her. She was a mature young woman, and could make her own decisions.
Damian, though, wasn't exactly calm. "Darling, you figure it out, and we'll take everything slow. Whatever it is that you want, we'll do. We will make it work, we will work hard to see you succeed... I am right here behind you."

Richard came over to her, and kissed her gently. "Thank you..." He said softly after a moment, then added. "...if somehting comes... like a moment or something...we'll see ok?" He looked up at her to how he really did want to... he just wasn't sure when.
Raquel sighed, letting go of his hand, then pulling away a little. "Alright..." was all she said, placing her own hands in hr lap as she thought a moment longer. "I just... need to think on it." She rubbed her temples a little standing, looking slightly defeated still. "...I'm going to take a shower I think..." She added, not really sure if she should invite him along or not. She didn't feel like fooling around really, part of her just really wanted him near. The other part just wanted some space. She wasn't sure if that was her Amaranthine side or if it was just her being tired and slightly confused.

She nodded and laughed again. "Richard, you are the strangest man I have ever met, and I love you for it."
Damian stood up from the bed and watched her go of to her shower. Please, he thought. Please don't let her let everything she wanted fall through just because of me. He went his own way, to his own room, where he took off his suit and changed into much more comfortable, casual clothes. All the while, though, he thought of Raquel, and the worried look she wore every time she was given her own choice to make. Maybe that was it, he thought. Maybe she couldn't handle choices well. He wasn't about to make one for her, though.

Raquel undressed herself, heading into the shower silently. Her mind was buzz with various thoughts, all conflicting with one another. She furrowed her brow, letting the hot steamy water pour over her as she just simply thought, though her head was starting to hurt a little from the tension. She had to be careful, she knew her amranthine pain would come back stronger if she didn't watch herself. She unconsciously reached for the water, turning it to ice cold, making her headache stop almost completely. Though she didn't lose herself this time. She just stood, shaking slightly, as chills ran down her skin. She stood like this for a good few minutes before making herself turn the water finally. She shook her head rubbing her temples more as she got out, drying herself off.
Though there was a little bit of pain still lingering in her head, so she dressed herself in a short silk night gown, not like what she bought today but still very sexy, though slipped a robe over it. Looking modest despite what she was wearing underneath, she made her way down to the kitchen, nodding slightly to the couple.
Richard laughed, kissing her again. "I'm glad someone does..." He winked with a shake of his head. Though he raised an eyebrow, looking back to Raquel. He said nothing at first, just watching as she silently pulled out two wine glasses, and then retrieved a unopened bottle of some wine Damian had in a wine cooler. "Well...dont have too much fun tonight..." He smirked to her. Though Raquel merely smiled pleasantly, and shook her head. "We'll try not to.." She joked in return, though it was very half hearted as she made her way out of the kitchen again. Richard looked to Lorey, brow furrowed. "...Do you think they're alright? I sensed a slight tension in the car. Damian seemed so quiet..." He pursed his lips, glancing back. "I hope it's nothing we did or said..."
Raquel headed back to Damian's room, expecting that he was either getting freshened up himself, or simply working. She knocked on the door lightly before coming in anyway, shutting it behind her, and letting her matching silk robe fall open to reveal her dusty rose colored nightgown, edged with lace that hung tight in all the right places. "Damian..." She smirked slightly, leaning against the doorway.

Lorey watched as Raquel left with the wine. She would have definitely thought that they were about to get slightly buzzed on wine and have fun times, but the melancholy Raquel dispelled that. She tilted her head to the side. "I don't know. They didn't get upset when we were messing around in the mall. Maybe something happened before we met up again?" She didn't know any more than Richard did.
Damian had been tapping at his keys at the small desk he had within his room. With glasses on for the sake of his tired eyes, he looked like the most casual businessman on the planet. At the sound of her voice, he spun around in his chair. His head pulled back just a bit in surprise. Raquel always looked sexy, but this time it almost seemed planned. "Don't you look lovely? And wine? Is there a special occasion or am I just lucky?"

Richard shrugged, going for a bottle of water form the fridge. "Those two have been a bit different recently. It could be just that they've grown closer since Damian's hospitalization and they're trying to figure out where to go next?" He had been thinking about it for awhile. "I mean, I just don't see Damian as the marrying type but..." He shrugged again, not aware of how false his statement was.
Raquel couldn't help but smile as she sauntered over towards him. "Well, I had wanted to do somehting special for you after you proposed, but never got the chance since the Amaranthine's last visit..." She explained, sitting on the edge of the bed, but not before setting one wine glass down for him. She left out however, she really just wanted to forget about school and her decisions for a moment, and hopefully dilute her headache without getting ridiculously drunk. She had hoped just spending some time with him, along with some moderate alcohol, she could force it back into submission. "Is this too much?" She asked, biting her lip in a naughty yet strangely innocent manner, though was actually very curious as to if she had over done it a bit...
